  • 19 April 2015 -- Niwa is under new management!

Niwa is now under new management as we strive to stand up the the standards of fun and entertaining roleplaying we have so far provided here at Niwa. Today makes the start of a campaign to bring in new members as Head Admin Akaiken and Support Admin Sparky work together to improve and uphold the current face of Niwa and keep us all moving forward!

They said this was a city for our kind, they said it was a safe haven from the rest of the world. This was suppose to be the city where we where safe from regular humans. But, in a city where Meta-Humans run rampant, is there such thing as safety? When taking what you want is as simple as waving your hand, or closing your eyes, how can there be law? In this city, the truth is there is only one source of law, and that are the different criminal organizations that have formed all around us. The only order is that of the darkest part of humanity, of criminal organizations where the strong thrive while the weak gasp for air. This is Niwa Nights.. This is our home.

Can you survive it?

Fiora wouldn't comment on the night she had just had, not to Silas nor to anyone that would ask. Not even to the red head that walked into her room that morning and saw the naked bodies of the two immortals sprawled out across the bed. It was a night that she'd assume wouldn't occur again, but one she'd never forget. There was no love or passion behind what had happened that night, just pure honest sex. It had ran for hours, and those hours seem to pour into the morning, yet they still had time to fall asleep beside one another. Fiora made no move to cuddle or be close to him, not because she didn't love to cuddle but let's be honest, Silas seemed like the kind to hit-it and quit-it. Which she fully expected to wake up that morning and find him gone.

The red head that had walked into their room had stood there for a moment and glanced at the naked bottoms that faced up in the air. Fiora's arm had stretched over Silas's back and her face was firmly planted into the pillow. Silas's arm did the same thing, it was the accidental cuddle as Scarlett would like to call it. The room was a mess, the sheets and pillows--all but the two they had fell asleep on--were thrown all over the place. It looked like a war zone, but without the blood and guts.

Scarlett decided not to disturb them, and very quietly stepped back out of the room. The sounds of the door swaying back to a close caused Fiora's vivid pink eyes to open slowly and find vision in the bright room. The muffling sounds that escaped her lips as she lifted her head off the pillow and looked around weren't very loud, but to Silas they would sound like a fog horn. She felt good, which was nice, but she wouldn't lie that her body hadn't felt that sore in quite some time. Like she had ran a few hundred miles without rest. Maybe it's why when she attempted to pull away from Silas she was unable to for the first few tries. It was only after she put her hand to his face and pushed him away did she get free, and was able to slid off the edge of the bed and get to her feet.

"Mmm..." She grumbled, standing there with the same amount of clothes on she fell asleep with--which was none. Her arms stretched over her into the air, and she raised up on her tippy toes. Fiora took a deep breath and let it out in a heavy yawn. "Scarlett?" That was the only person that should've been in her home other then Silas. Not that he was 'supposed' to be in her home, it just so happened that... well he was.

Only a moment past before the red head slipped back through the door. Her long crimson hair fell down her shoulders and her sapphire eyes met the immortals gaze. She was dressed very business-like, with a pencil skirt and a matching blazer. There would be no mistake that she wasn't any sort of maid. Someone that looked like that, there was no way she cleaned homes. "I came to see if you were alright, which..." Scarlett's gaze shifted to the naked man laying in the immortals bed, "I see you're just fine."

Fiora shrugged her shoulders, "This is Silas." The immortal introduced him as she slipped away into the master bathroom. Disappearing and leaving the two of them alone in the room.

Scarlett turned her attention to Silas, keeping her eyes where they belonged. She had been there for Fiora through all of this, and there was something that didn't sit well with her. Where had this guy come from? Fiora was... well, she wasn't a lover of men. Granted that didn't mean she wasn't one to have sexual relations with one, but she leaned towards the women in that regard. Something about the man that lay in her friends bed seemed, off. Though, Scarlett thought that about everyone. She wasn't a people person. So the awkward, untrusting, look she gave the man wasn't really out of character.

"You should cover yourself." She commented before rolling her eyes from his direction.

The swoop. Fiora had always hated being picked up and there wasn't anything different about this time. It made her feel weak and enable to move from point A to point B. Why women liked it was beyond her. However, she wouldn't fight him, she'd hold back how she felt about it. It was obvious that Silas had a reason for doing it, and for that she wouldn't argue. She assumed it must've been to get her back upstairs quicker then average, because the next thing she knew she was sitting back down in bed. The night before all but lingered in her mind. How long had it been since she had been with a man like that? It was a question she couldn't particularly answer because she couldn't remember.

He wanted to tell her a story, which she was all for. Not like she had anything to do that day. Even if she did, how long could his story really take? Seconds, minutes, hours? Silas was old, that was obvious, but would he bore her with all the details? She doubted it.

"Go ahead." Fiora scooted back on her bed, resting her back against the backboard and crossing one leg over the other. For the rest of the time he spoke, Fiora sat there in silence. Her hands were cupped in her lap and her eyes never leaving his. When he sat beside her and continued, she continued to focus on him. His story, his life, it wasn't an easy one. It would explain why he was the way he was. This human side that she would've never thought possible and the demonic side she'd seen the night before. They had so much in common, but yet were so different. Silas had known the joys of humanity, if not for only a moment, just as Fiora had once before.

Knowing that he had laid with his mother in those ways put a sour taste in her mouth, but only for a moment. Time had erased any impurities that it would've lingered on Silas. Fiora didn't know exactly what to say to his story, or what to do for that matter. He was too old for sympathy, he had long sailed that boat off to the Netherlands. No, he wasn't the kind of guy that wanted 'I'm sorry to hear that' or 'How can I make it better'. There was no need for her to say anything like that. That isn't to say if he wanted it she would've given it to him, it was just better he was the kind of person that understood his past and moved on.

She moved her hand over and rested it onto his leg, before giving him a weak smile. That would be the first smile he would've seen all morning. "Thank you." She said with a soft sigh, "Your past is what defines the person you're today. I believe everything happens for a reason. Even if that reason is sleeping and killing your mother. Maybe your immortality was brought to you for some grater purpose." A little piece of knowledge from an immortal.

"I guess," Fiora shifted her eyes away from him for a moment, "I can share something of myself." This would be the first time that Fiora had ever opened up and told anyone about her life. She'd never shared where she came from, who her family was or even what caused the person sitting in front of Silas, to become the person she is today. "My name is Fiora Novák; my last name was brought over by my mothers side. I was born and raised in Austro-Hungarian Empire, which is now known as the Czech Republic. Both my parents were immortals, long, long blood line that I can't trace our origins. I had a brother, and for about a century we lived as any normal meta- would. Up until my fathers senseless acts got my mother and brother killed. The war that raged in Germany with Adolf reigned caused my father to want to fight back."

There was a slight pause, her hand moved up and rubbed her nose before continuing. "We said we would never get involved with human wars. Yet he took it personally and tried to help where he was neither wanted or needed. When I found out my mother and brother had been killed, I turned on my father and killed him myself, but with hatred and guilt it didn't stop there. Finding myself in the midst of war was beyond my control. I've killed and assisted in hurting millions of people, and yet I can't bring myself to want to erase those memories. Sure, there is some guilt there. But, remember I told you everything happens for a reason. I believe that in every sense of the statement."

So much death, so many lives taken too early. There was no person that witnessed that war that wouldn't wish to destroy that memory. Fiora was in a class of her own, what happened had only made her stronger. Even if it made her a darker person in the process. "We are all shaped by our past, be it good or bad. It brings us to the moments in time right now, and asks us the question did what happen then cause this to happen now? I believe..." Maybe there was something to Silas that she could use. "There was a reason you broke into my home last night." He could become an asset to her. "Do you agree?"

Silas
Everything happens for a reason? Silas guessed he could believe that. Being abandoned, not knowing his mother led to him eventually finding her that night. It was that night that changed him from a mere half breed demon to a true immortal. It was also that night that not only cursed him, but gave him the resolve to do something stronger than anything else had. So yes perhaps everything did happen for a reason, and Silas knew his purpose. It was ironic that Fiora said he served a greater purpose, but he would get to that later.

It seemed she wanted to share something with him as well. From the way she spoke he could tell this story was going to be tragic. She referred to her parents and brother in the past tense, however referred to them as immortals. Dying was no simple feat, nor was it one that could easily gotten over. With that being in mind the death of an immortal was simply tragic.

She also came from European history, however she was severely younger. He thought back to Nazi Germany and the time period. War, chaos, destruction. All things humans hated, yet things that defined them. As she told her story Silas within his mind thought of his hatred. While he didn't exactly hate humans he hated mankind, living and dead. However he learned the dead were merely things that could be pushed into memory and sealed away...that the living were the ones to be annoyed with. It was the living that continued to corrupt and destroy the world. Fiora was no better he thought as she said she killed and injured millions, but then again neither was Silas. However in his mind the immortal couldn't be persecuted, because it was his job to destroy all creation.

He continued to sit and listen to Fiora's story up until the ending in which he sounded much like the ending to an essay. As she wrapped up her story he moved closer towards her up until she asked him her final question. He simply nodded and smiled before kissing her softly and briefly. After pulling away he spoke.

"The reason I found my way to your home was for me to find my way to you. The meaning of last night way for me to find you...and for us not to have to live in our pasts"

When he pulled her in and kissed her she couldn't help but let a smile run across her lips. It was weird, such odd circumstances for them to have met and yet it felt as normal as meeting at, say, a bar. He had broken into her house for a reason, not just to find somewhere to sleep--no that wasn't what she was talking about. There was a reason he picked her house, a reason he stepped through her door. Was this really the reason? Were they meant to be? No, that was for mere human enjoyment. Immortals, they were a different kind of breed. They didn't believe in finding that 'one'. No one can love someone for eternity, it is just impossible. This maybe something at the moment, but how long it would last was impossible to say. Yet, why not have a little bit of fun?

Fiora already knew he had an alternative motive for being passionate with her. She'd not be surprised the day he wants to stab her in the back for his own gain. He'd not be surprised if she did it either. Maybe that's another reason they were compatible.

Maybe.

"Well..." Fiora moved her hand down his chest, rolling her fingers around as she found her way to his lap. "There was a reason you brought me back up here too I'm guessing..." She smirked, before leaning in and pressing her lips against his once more and pushing him back onto the bed.

At least one thing was for sure; he was sexy.
