| They said this was a city for our kind, they said it was a safe haven from the rest of the world. This was suppose to be the city where we where safe from regular humans. But, in a city where Meta-Humans run rampant, is there such thing as safety? When taking what you want is as simple as waving your hand, or closing your eyes, how can there be law? In this city, the truth is there is only one source of law, and that are the different criminal organizations that have formed all around us. The only order is that of the darkest part of humanity, of criminal organizations where the strong thrive while the weak gasp for air. This is Niwa Nights.. This is our home. Can you survive it? Oh delicious chaos... that was what greeted the dragon around every corner. Niwa was a veritable cesspit of pandemonium. The strange blend of humans, supernatural creatures and meta humans all packed into the city like sardines into a can. It was a test tube for disaster. Her kind of anarchy. She had come to Niwa for a purpose, but found every reason under the sun to stay. A nightclub may had been a strange place to find a creature of her persuasion, but she was young and enjoyed watching the futility of mortals. They were intoxicating to watch... and why not, whether they realised it or not she allowed them to live. To continue sharing the world with her... but their time would come. Everything had a part to play and despite what someone may thing of her, Eris loved humanity. Never before had a single species so embraced the master she served. Within Fallen she did not even stand out. Her pale complexion and black hair looked like every other would be Gothic junky in the club. The silver scars which tracked over her skin could have been elaborate make up, but they were etched into her flesh. Not the caking of make up or tattooing. Her eyes were the tell tale she was something else. Normally she hid them behind glasses ~ but here, why bother. Her silver lit eyes saw nothing, and yet everything at once. Heavy base took some getting use to, but once she had it painted the world in incredible detail. Here among the press of intoxicated bodies, reek of alcohol and complete and utter chaos... the dragon could not have been more at home. Whether it was instinct or something else, the humans avoided her... no sooner would they step closer they would all but fall over themselves to move away again. Eris was not human, though she very much appeared one in the tight black dress and thigh high boots. Her straight black hair falling down far enough for her to sit on. There was nothing she missed, not a single angle she could not see from the comfortable lounge seating she had made herself at home in. This world was her oyster. |

Arthur walked up to the place not really wanting to go in because of the type of people coming and going. He wasn't at all dressed like them and never would event to fit in. He had one agenda and that was the eradication of dragon life on the planet. That alone was his one major goal although he had an additional goal which was to help his new family that he had become part of coming to the city of Niwa. He kind of tried to dress accordingly but it was no more than a black t-shirt, black pants, and black steel toed work boots. He didn't want to do more than that if he didn't have to. Besides what did he care if they were accepting of his look they were just human, him being already better than them. He was also didn't like the fact that he couldn't bring his favorite sword. Damn clubs and their policies on weapons back in the day it was normal for people to carry swords and the like around. He did at least bring his miniature punching dagger stashed snugly in his boot being able to grab it quickly if the need arose. He walked into the club after getting some looks from the other people outside waiting to get in. Once he got into the main room the feeling hit him like a truck. There was a dragon in the building. A big smile crept onto his face. It was a lucky night indeed for the dragon slayer. He looked around and saw an attractive woman sitting by herself and for some reason nobody would get near her. Well tonight someone would stay close to her and not want to leave. Arthur didn't have really any weapons so he would do the next best thing. If this woman was in fact a dragon he would pretend to get close to her and hopefully not seem like he was trying to befriend her. He would have to turn on the charm the easiest way to kill her would of coarse be if she trusted him then she wouldn't see it coming. As he got closer to her the feeling got stronger telling him that it was true she was indeed a dragon. Oh lucky day he thought to himself. He strode up to where she was sitting. "Now what is a girl like you doing over here all by yourself. Would you like some company on this wonderful night?" It was a little cheesy but hey he has been out of the game for quite some time being on a almost limitless hunt for all dragon kind. |

~Draconic Translator Tall, built... he walked into the club like he owned the place. Only he didn’t. She had seen the owner already. More than that he was fixated on her from the second he cleared the bouncers on the door. She still missed nothing. Unlike many of the other dragons she was numb to her own kind. A curse of her particular affliction. Yet still, if she had to guess... he moved with a certain kind of dominance known to her kind. A sinful smile tugged at her lips as she turned towards him, for all intents and purposes her eyes would have raked over him but she hardly needed them to see. Sound told her everything which stood before her, right down to the dagger sheathed in his boot. But she had no idea what colour his eyes were. Pity, she would have liked to have a thing for eyes. “Larchii, Si smunsou.” ~Beware, I bite. The words rolled from her lips so playfully, but the language she used was unmistakable. Draconic, beautiful and musical, like listening to the soft hum of a plucked harp string. Even in the nightclub he would have been able to hear her. Everyone within a dozen yards of her would have no problem hearing every syllable. A few patrons who fancied themselves linguists tried to make sense of the words and failed. Some things one could not simply be taught. Leaning forward against her table she continued to watch him, like a predatory would consider it prey ~ whatever purpose the intended victim was to serve. Truth be told it was impossible to focus on anything else in the room. Not that it was entirely his fault that there was not a single other interesting being there that night. |

When he got closer he could tell without a shadow of a doubt that she was a dragon. Then she spoke in the language that he knew all to well was draconic. She said that she bites which was fine by him. She wouldn't really bite unless she wanted it to be seen. "si ornla ti tepoha coi tikil lyrik idol sia danthe."I would not have it any other way my dear. The words flowing from his mouth like water in a stream. He wasn't new to the language he could speak it just as good as any dragon that ever lived. How old was she. What was her power. All of these things he would have to find out some way. Maybe she would be a little more trusting which might be a long shot but it maybe the first step in gaining her trust. Was she able to tell what he was he didn't know. Everything would be answered eventually and he would be there when it happened. He didn't just want to come out and ask her what her abilities were. He needed to get close to her and he thought he was off to a good start. He proceeded to sit down next to her and kind of spread out making sure not to get anywhere too close to her. He didn't want her to lash out at him so he was close but not too close to her. |

It had been a test, a test and he had failed. Eris had nothing to fear from humans, even meta humans ~ at least none that she had met yet. But another dragon... that was a different story. She had been so polite to Syriak, but he had invited her with all the courtesies of an elder dragon. It was impossible to ignore that. But this man, this dragon... he did not identify himself at all, which suggested he was either younger than she was or he had something to hide. Nothing in her body language would have given it away but beneath her air of relaxed calm, she would have turned into a coiled snake. Her abilities all but begging to be unleashed. Being a nightclub, the music seemed to roll in on itself with no discernible break at all. But the moment she spoke again, dropping back into one of the human languages she timed her question perfectly with a break in the music. “So tell me, have to come to kill me or to fuck me?” The amused smile only tugged further on her lips. Every head within hearing range turned to look at the pair in the comfortable seating. Without a single other soul close to them it was hard for even the gullible humans to mistake where that question had come from. Her curiosity left to hang in the air before the music and the base started again. A few of the braver humans edged closer wanting to hear the response, a hundred different eyes in the room drilling into Arthur’s back. No one ever accused her of being subtle. (Wolf, can I have your consent to use Eris’ chaos ability?) |

"If I were here to kill you don't you think I would have tried already? As for your other thought in a way yes but I would prefer to get to know you better before we engage in any sort of sexual encounter. Unless of coarse you are just looking for a one night stand. Then you can just lead the way." What was she getting at does she know that his ultimate goal was to in fact kill her. On the other hand he wouldn't mind sleeping with her first. Dragon or not she was very attractive. On the plus side what would be a better way to get close to her other than literally being in bed with her and finishing it in the heat of the moment. He still didn't know what she was capable of so he isn't in any way shape or form going to admit he was going to kill her. "So am I going to find out the name that belongs to such a beautiful woman or would you like to just stay anonymous?" He wanted to get this show on the road instead of just getting to the point. If things worked out and she did open up then that is when everything would fall into place. He would also have to find out what exactly she was capable of. There was such a thing as to powerful for him to handle. He has noticed that over the years dragons have been becoming more powerful. That just made it more exciting for him an meant that he might even get more powers to add to his abilities and become more powerful himself. He was thinking too far ahead and had to stop. He had to only think of the here and now because if he got to far ahead of himself than he would loose focus and then it would all b over. (I give you my consent to use her ability) |

Around them it was like the world started grinding to a halt. Even the mosic stopped playing, people stopped moving as the chaotic energy unleashed around her in a very small sphere of influence. Small enough to include Arthur and no one else. In the sudden silence he could have heard a pin drop, the silver hairline cracks along her skin lighting up a brilliant white light. Even her eyes started to glow. But when she moved towards him her actions were deliberate. She had no fear of him, but there was respect there. With nothing but silence wrapped around them Eris hardly needed to yell, her voice, that sweet dragon voice echoed for only his ears to hear. “You would have tried, and you would have failed.” She mused in response to his comment about killing her. “As for mounting me against your headboard like some trophy... I have no interest in obeying the elders. I had no obligation to our species.” Those pure energy eyes raked over him as though there was nothing between them. To her vision ~ there wasn’t. She sized him up, taking stock of all she saw. He was nothing like other dragons she had encountered, yet undeniably similar. “I am yet to meet a dragon who did not want one or the other for me. I’ve even met a few who wanted both.” Eris sighed, feeling the weight of expectation weighing on her. She continued to study him, waiting for him to flinch, to catch him in the lie. Was it possible he had no idea at all who she was? “So if that is all you encroached upon me for... you can leave.” As impossible as it seemed, she was the poster child for her species. Universally hated, but she could have served a purpose... to the elders at least. Most dragons simply recognised her as the threat she was. |

Arthur watched as everything around him came to a halt. The music stopped and all seemed still around them. He watched as the marks on her skin began to glow and her eyes followed in suit. She began speaking about how he would fail if he tried to kill her and spoke of not obeying the elders while having no obligation to the species. What was she talking about Arthur knew no elders. Other dragons have apparently tried to either kill or sleep with her. "Listen I don't know what you have been through in the past but is it wrong to want to get to know more about each other. I haven't run into many of our kind so when I saw a pretty woman to find she was a dragon I couldn't help but come over and talk to you. I just figured a little flirting here or there wouldn't hurt anybody. As for your past I have no idea what exactly you are talking about I have run into no elders and I don't expect you to have any obligations involving me." He wanted to stay to see the extent of her powers and what she could do so he could come up with a way to beat her. "So with that said I'm Arthur. It was wrong of me to not introduce myself before sitting down and talking to you and for that I apologize." He extended his hand to take hers while a smile formed on his face. He wasn't going to force her to take it because even though he wasn't scared he didn't want to be on the receiving end of some power that he had nothing to defend himself with at the moment. He was going to try to still bring the charm but it appeared that his attempt might be in vain. She will open to me eventually he thought. It was apparent that this would take longer than he had hoped. Edited by One Man Wolfpack, Dec 17 2013, 08:28 PM.

“Eris.” She made a motion with her hand to accompany the very informal introduction. There was no attempt made to take his offered hand. Friendship from her own kind always came with a price. It was a double edged sword, she wanted to get close to them... but it was always a question of who would betray who first. It was in her nature, and the one time she had let her guard down, it had nearly killed her. If Arthur could see that, if he could replay her memories, he would not have even bothered. Syriak was an enigma of their species, and he was in love with a mortal, demigod, meta human... whatever Aurael was. He was obviously not bent on the preservation of their species. And in the grand scale of the dragon food chain and hierarchy, he was way above her. Chaos dragons were the bottom feeders. Hope and damnation for their entire species. Oh the irony... “And before you ask, no... my parents never bothered to give me a real name.” She exhaled softly, sinking back into the chair. “They never bothered to give me much of anything.” She chuckled slightly, sightless eyes raking over the frozen nightclub. “If you liked, we could play at this all night... trading small talk, smiling at one another, flirting.” She sat forward again, leaning closer towards Arthur. Everything was a game to her, but for just a moment, a single frozen moment ~ she wanted something real. “Tell me something about you, not the small talk or the pleasantries... tell me something real.” From the moment he had approached her, Arthur had her undivided attention. But now she was actually curious about something he had to say. |

She had given him her name that being Eris. "What a beautiful name for a beautiful woman." She didn't take his hand that he offered which was fine with him. He didn't expect her to act normal. She must be vary old to have something as powerful as what was happening at this very moment. He wondered if she could do more. It would definitely effect his future plans of killing her because yes he still had that planned for the near future. Before he could ask or say anything she said that nobody gave her a real name. Eris was a good of name as any in his mind but it appeared that she didn't think the same thing. She went on to saying that she would lie to continue the small talk that was happening. It appeared that this was a game to her because she didn't sound to enthused about anything. He would go along and try to make this thing work. She asked him to tell her something real. How real did she want he wondered. "I don't know how real you want to get but I have been around for a long time and I haven't run into another dragon as interesting to talk too. I control the gift of fire. So it is very different from yours which makes me wonder is there anything else that you can do other then freeze time." |
