| They said this was a city for our kind, they said it was a safe haven from the rest of the world. This was suppose to be the city where we where safe from regular humans. But, in a city where Meta-Humans run rampant, is there such thing as safety? When taking what you want is as simple as waving your hand, or closing your eyes, how can there be law? In this city, the truth is there is only one source of law, and that are the different criminal organizations that have formed all around us. The only order is that of the darkest part of humanity, of criminal organizations where the strong thrive while the weak gasp for air. This is Niwa Nights.. This is our home. Can you survive it? Was this right? He looked up at the glass house, inspecting it for an address before looking back down at the slip of paper in his hand. Who was he kidding, of course it was right, he had double checked it quite a few times. Well, as many times as his frantic mind could at the time. Since then he had had a moment to calm down and collect his thoughts. One of the great things about the Moirai was how into information they were, which meant Yoshiya was in the know about a lot of things. One of which was something that worried him quite a bit. Fiora had her arm cut off. He didn't know all the details as soon after he found out, he immediately found out where she was, where her house was, and then set out to see her. He needed to know if she was alright. He hadn't known her for too long, but since she was the one who had inducted him, he felt a certain...bond towards her. Not to sound weird or anything. He sucked air into his lungs and held it for a bit. He was tired of waiting, it was time to see if she was alright. Exhaling, he knocked on her door. “Fiora? It's Yoshiya...you got a moment?" |

A simple enough request. Yoshiya wasn't very good with making beds, but he wasn't totally incapable of preforming the task. It would never pass a military inspection, but at the very least it would look like he tried. Seeing her stuck on the floor only added more of a sad tone to the whole thing. Couldn't make her bed, couldn't get upstairs, couldn't get off the floor. If he were a lesser man, he would show pity on his face. But he knew that as a leader being in front of one of her subordinates, doing so would only insult her pride further. “Ah, of course." He got up quickly and bent over, looping one arm under her good arm and gently lifting her to her feet. Be then wrapped her arm around his shoulders, and his arm around her waist. If no one knew better, they might say they looked like old pals walking along a dirt road. The lad had to admit, her winter wear was quite the eye catcher, but seeing her in her house wear really got his pulse thumping. She was a beautiful girl, a fact she was probably well aware off. He did his best to keep his eyes to the path ahead. He followed her directions to her bedroom, and aside from a large freaking bloodstain on the bed, it was a bit messy but not too bad. Definitely not as bad as his room at the end of the week. “Oh. I believe I understand why you would want new sheets. I can't imagine that's too comfortable to sleep in." He set her down on a nearby chair, and after further instructions, located the new sheets and bedding. He busied himself with stripping the bed, and then fixing the new things onto it. It didn't look maid level pretty, but it would do. “Well, it won't win any beauty contests, but it should hold even if you thrash about in your sleep." He smiled as he helped her up one more time and over to her bed. “Need anything else before you turn in for the night, Fiora?" |

Fiora was glad that he was willing to do such an odd task for her. When he moved to her and wrapped his arm around her she leaned against him. She'd need to get her body under control, this was just pathetic. "Thanks." She said softly into his ear. She didn't notice, maybe it was because she hadn't paid much mind to it, but he was quite tall. Fiora was average height, but he out did her by more then half a foot. It was something that she had enjoyed most about men, their height. It was hard to find a woman that swung that way, that was taller than her. Her hand gripped at his shirt and held him close. Once they made it up to the room and he sat her down, she let out a sigh of relief. The stairs were something she loved about the house, but the past few days have just been //ugh//. Putting her left arm across her and resting her hand in her lap she did the same with her opposite hand. She had burned the reality of that night in her head, and this room and what it looked like only told the story a hundred times over. The blood on the floor, the sheets, the walls were her hands hand been. Even her shower was a complete wreck, blood everywhere but where the water hits. As he cleaned her room, she leaned back in her chair. Fiora took care of her home, if it wasn't obvious from the downstairs area. The only messed up area was her room and there was quite the good reason for it. She was an organized person, always wanting to keep things in order. Watching him, it made her wonder why she had stopped finding men appealing in the first place. Why she had started disliking them so much that she completely shut them out. There were many reasons, but none that Yoshiya had. Once he was done, and he moved over towards her again she gave him a light smile. He was too kind, doing all of that for her and not knowing if he was going to get anything in return. The only thing he would receive is a thank you, at least for now. Fiora didn't know what she could offer him that would thank him for what he had done. He was so attentive to her, without her asking for help back up he did it anyways. "I really appreciate it... but I'm not--" Fiora had lost her footing as they approached the bed. Her left side still feeling weak from losing so much muscle in the attack that it went number for a split second. Her arm grabbed onto his, but all it did was make it worse. Fiora had pulled Yoshiya down in front of her, slamming him against the side of the bed and tumbling down on top of him. He'd be sitting on the floor with his back against the bed, but he wasn't alone. Fiora's body lay between his legs and her arms were at his side. Her silver hair fell across her back and between his legs. She wasn't moving though, her eyes were closed and her breathing heavy. Had she not realized how hot she was? 'Sickness will most likely follow if you don't take care of yourself...' |

“Woah, woah, woah!" His eyes widened as he felt the both of them lose their balance. He tried to correct them, but ball it managed to do was but him between her and the floor, which is how he'd rather it anyways. “Tch, that smarts..." he mumbles as the shock of falling left behind a slight throbbing in his back and behind. This was soon replaced by renewed concern for Fiora, but she seemed fine, aside from no longer being conscious. He could feel it. The heat coming from her body was a little bit more than what it should have been. She had a fever. The next few moments would require some creative body movements. Wrapping his arms around her body, he started to shimmy his back up the side of the bed. This lead to an inevitable *squish!* but he did his best to ignore it, even though a slight blush did touch his cheeks. Finally he was able to sit on the edge of the bed, and catch his breath. The whole ordeal would have looked like some kind of awkward dance/seizure to anyone else. Yoshiya was just glad Fiora hadn't been awake to see it. Then with a heft, he picked her up as gently as he could, and he laid her down on the bed as gently as he could. “And this is why I don't think I could ever be a nurse..." He mumbled to himself. That shimmying maneuver had to be against some kind of doctor's ethic. He wrapped her up in her blankets, and after some exploring, brought back a wet wash cloth that he placed on her forehead. He wanted to go look for some fever reducer medicine, but he didn't know where to look, and rifling through other people's drawers and cupboards wasn't quite his style. Besides, he didn't want to leave her alone in case she woke up. He hated feeling alone when he was sick... So he pulled the chair over beside her bed and waited for her, every once in a while changing out the wash cloth for another he'd find. |

Why did that same memory keep replaying in her head... Germany - 1935 - Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Hospital "Miss Fiora.." A child no older then five called out to the immortal that sat in the corner of the room with her hands tucked into her front pockets. The silent coughs of the young girl echoing through the silent halls of the empty hospital. Staff had all but left, the sickness only grew. Thankfully Fiora's body killed diseases before it spread too much into her system to really do much effect. "I'm here..." The immortal moved across the room swiftly and sat at the edge of the bed next to the girl. Her hand rested on the young girls as she smiled down at her. "How are you feeling?" The obvious answer was not a good one, but there was still optimism in her tone. The young girl opened her blood shot eyes, her lips trying to curl up into a smile. Her silence told Fiora too much about how she felt. "Y-You didn't leave." "I promised I wouldn't." The girl lifted her arms up and she leaned in towards Fiora. The silver haired woman obliging and leaning into hold her. Fiora knew that she didn't have long. Her heart rate was slowly becoming an echo, and her body temperature was dropping quickly. "I'll stay till the end." Fiora pulled the girl out of the sheets and rested her in her lap, as if holding a baby. "Can yo- tell me a sory" The girl leaned against her and held the immortal close. "Mhmm.." Fiora rocked her slightly before starting her story. "There once was a girl, who lived with a loving family. They had been fortunate, with money and all things glamorous. The girl, who was about your age, had this bear--" The feeling of the girl tightening her grasp and the slight tremble of her tiny fingers made Fiora pull her in closer. "This bear, she didn't let it go. Even when her brothers and sisters tried to take it away. It was hers, she'd say. The brother and sister of the girl would tease her for it, and ask why it was so important. The young girl would always respond, because it means the world to me." She could feel her life of the little girl slipping from between her arms, "This girl, hundreds of years later still says that the bear means the world to her..." Fiora choked back her tears as she reached around her and pulled out a bear that was raggedy and old. "She would say that she'd never give this to anyone. Never let it out of her sights..." She couldn't hold her tears back, and as they fell she put the bear between her and the young girl. "However, how could the girl deny that bear that meant the world to her, to the person that meant the world to her?" Holding the girl close, she let the tears rain until the last inch of life left her... "I'll be with you one day..." Fiora's eyes slowly opened to see Yoshiya putting a wet cloth on her forehead. Her hand moved up and grabbed onto his wrist. If he hadn't been paying attention, it would have startled him. Thankfully the arm that was severed was her left, and her being a right handed individual was very happy about that. She looked up at him, sadness and destruction in her eyes. There were so many things going through her head that it was hard to concentrate on one single thing. She knew what she wanted... what she needed. It was like back with the doctor that put her arm back on, she didn't have anyone. Now that she had someone that was there with her that cared, she didn't know what to do about it. "Yoshiya..." Her voice was soft, almost to the point of a unhearable whisper. Though she was sure he could read her lips, especially if it was his name. Her body shivered, and her toes curled. The blankets weren't enough, if Scarlett were here she'd have had her become her personal heater and sit next to her on the bed. It was why Fiora pulled at Yoshiya, tugging him towards her. "I'm cold, will you... lay with me?" Granted, Fiora was beautiful. There had been many people that would kill to be in Yoshiya's shoes. However, it was an odd request, even for the situation. Her hand released his wrist, hoping that he would willing come. If not, maybe a few extra blankets would do the trick... Maybe. |

A slight shockwave of surprise made his body jump just a hair. He wasn't quite expecting her to randomly wake up, though it was good that she did; now he could ask her about the fever reducer. His name barely reached his ears, and had he not been looking directly at her face, he likely would have just assumed he imagined hearing it. He leaned in a bit closer and tilted his head to the side so he could better understand what she was saying. ...and immediately wondered if that was the right thing to have done. Lay with her!? Well, yeah, of course he could! Even though he knew exactly what she meant he still felt a little hot under the collar from a blush that was creeping up his neck. Even if you removed all sexual intentions from a request like that, it still suggested a certain level of trust and willingness to be close to the other person. “It wouldn't be becoming of me to leave a lady in need," He said as he got up and lifted the covers to slide in. “So I'm sure I can oblige. Besides, I like having someone around when I'm feeling under the weather, so I can understand a little..." He slid the rest of his body into her bed, snuggled up close to her, and gingerly wrapped an arm around her shoulders. It felt a bit weird, especially since he hasn't played the role of human heater before, but that didn't mean it was unpleasant. Edited by Scion, Dec 12 2013, 11:42 PM.

Fiora didn't feel the slightest bit of awkwardness as the young man lifted up the sheets and slid beside her. She was old enough to keep her emotions in check, at least in this sense. There was no lewd acts going to come from her, so he wouldn't have to worry. On top of that, it had been quite a long time since a man was able to make her feel that way in bed. Granted, her heart did flutter when he wrapped his arms around her shoulders and pulled her close to him. Her head rested against the edge of his chest and her left arm, the one that seemed all but dead to her, fell over his stomach and wrapped around his waist. It seemed lifeless, but there was actual life in it. Her shivering wouldn't begin to dismiss for a while, but at least she felt warmer being right beside someone. Hopefully this didn't ruin the relationship that Yoshiya and her had. She was his superior when it came to anything Moirai related, yet here right now they were equals. If anything, Yoshiya was her superior at the moment. He could tell her she needed to drink a nasty herb tea, and she would nod and just do it. There was an extent to that though. She wouldn't do 'anything' that he said. He'd feel her head softly rub against him, "Mmm.." A discomfort mumble came from between her lips. The fever wasn't going to be fun to sweat out, but she needed to do it. Even with the covers wrapped around her, and Yoshiya against her, she still shivered. "I'm sorry.." She had to apologize; her right hand moving up and gripping at his shirt. It was wedged between them, but it was able to take hold of him pretty tightly. Fiora had never wanted to end up looking like this in front of someone. Well specifically anyone in the Moirai. She'd have to face Yoshiya outside in the real world one day and she could only what he was thinking of her. Even if he spoke out loud that he didn't mind, she just couldn't tell... Did he feel obligated because of her power? She hoped not... Even if he would have answered, Fiora wouldn't have heard him. She knocked out almost instantly, and when she woke up later that afternoon Yoshiya was gone. Scarlett had taken his place, maybe not beside her but at the edge of her bed. "Hey..." Scarlett turned her head towards Fiora and rested a hand against her forehead. Not that a pyromancer could really tell if someone had a fever or not because she was always so hot, but at least she was cooler then she had been earlier. "Your boyfriend left." "Ve--ry cute.." Fiora tried to get up, but Scarlett had to assist her in her efforts. Getting her to a sitting position on the bed, Fiora shook her head and took a deep breath. "Did... he say anything?" The red head shook her head, "He just left. I think I intimidate people." That was an understatement. "Alright, hopefully I did-- mmm-- scare him off." "I doubt that, Fiora." -- x End Thread x -- Edited by Star, Dec 13 2013, 12:25 AM.
