Niwa's Recent News
  • 19 April 2015 -- Niwa is under new management!

Niwa is now under new management as we strive to stand up the the standards of fun and entertaining roleplaying we have so far provided here at Niwa. Today makes the start of a campaign to bring in new members as Head Admin Akaiken and Support Admin Sparky work together to improve and uphold the current face of Niwa and keep us all moving forward!

They said this was a city for our kind, they said it was a safe haven from the rest of the world. This was suppose to be the city where we where safe from regular humans. But, in a city where Meta-Humans run rampant, is there such thing as safety? When taking what you want is as simple as waving your hand, or closing your eyes, how can there be law? In this city, the truth is there is only one source of law, and that are the different criminal organizations that have formed all around us. The only order is that of the darkest part of humanity, of criminal organizations where the strong thrive while the weak gasp for air. This is Niwa Nights.. This is our home.

Can you survive it?

Fuyuyama Proper - Fiora's Home

The place at which Fiora called home was not easily discovered. She lived down a lone street, that use to be inhabited by an old shake. When she moved to Niwa, she instantly had it converted into a modernized glass-house, that had no internal lights but the one the sun brought in. As one approaches the home, the trees that surrounded it were massive, but that hand a sweet elegance to them. The yard was well maintained. However, as beautiful as it was, the feeling that surrounded the home was that of pain and suffering.

It had just become dark, and the only light that lit the home were the flickering of candles across the window seals. The door that would allow anyone into her home, was wide open. The very soft sounds of a piano noise was echoing through the home. The only sound other then the beautiful noise of the piano was that of the crackling of a fireplace. When stepping into the home, there is the smell of vanilla that flows through the home. It was a beautiful place to behold, but yet there was still darkness everywhere.

Entering the home it brings them straight to the living room where there was no TV, but the lit fireplace facing the corner couch centered in the room. Out back was a beautiful view of the lake. The moonlight reflecting off of it and bringing in some light to see. The kitchen was off to the left, beside the dining room table. However, the owner was no where to be seen.

Why would someone leave their door open, for anyone to just come in?

Moving in further the sounds of water running would capture the attention of the one walking through her home. It was coming from upstairs, in at which would be led by the wooden slabs that acted as stairs. However, the water would soon end, and there would be nothing but the piano and crackling of fire. Whether or not the intruder was bold or not, only a few seconds later the loud thud of something, or someone, falling would echo down the hall.

Her bedroom was in complete shambles. The sheets on her bed were spread out all over the floor; her bloody clothing sprawled across the room. Lamps were turned over and even a vase was shattered across the floor. There were bloody hand prints across her furniture and even on the glass windows that looked out over the lake.

Fiora had come home that morning from the overnight stay at Dr. Wade's clinic, and had instantly fell asleep. She had slept all day, and when she had woken--shaken from a nightmare--she attempted to shower. She had got through most of it, but when sever pain shot through arm she wasn't able to take it anymore and she needed to get out. Sadly she hadn't made it too far out of the bathroom, when she felt weak and tumbled to the floor. Her robe tangling between her legs, she curled up on the floor and grabbed at her left arm.

She sometimes couldn't feel it there. As if it were still gone, severed from her body. The immortal looked helpless, her body trembling as she tried to push herself up to her feet, however it was hopeless. The farthest she had gotten was to her knees, where she sat there and hunched over and gripping at her arm. How had she lost it so much?

"So.. stupid..." The words she spoke were soft, very hard to hear unless standing right over her. The pit pat of tears falling from her eyes hit her wooden floor as she let her left arm lay limp at her side. "so... so stupid..."

It was just about that time of the night again, the moon was full and it was time for Silas to figure out where he was to call home for the night. Quite frankly he did enjoy to process of finding some woman somewhere and seducing her to the point where she'd have him over for the night, just for him to be gone in the morning. It was essentially every guy's dream to be able to do that on a night by night basis, however to Silas it was getting slightly dull. While the options never seemed to run dry, he decided he needed a place of residence that he could come back to occasionally on nights like these where he went home alone.

It wasn't by his own doing that he was alone though. But sadly the spirits he had seen throughout the night effected his ability to go out and drove him to the point where he couldn't even focus on it anymore. However it left the dilemma of where was he going to rest. His mind was disturbed at the moment and a little unstable due to the harassment from the dead. As he walked the streets he was able to finally clear his head and make the spirits go away.

However that took a few hours to accomplish and he wasn't exactly paying attention to where he was walking, so when he finally could focus he noticed he had no idea where he was. He continued to walk until a faint sound was playing in his ears. His enhanced hearing picked up the sound of music, a piano to be specific playing somewhere in the area. He followed the noise to its origin which lead him to a beautiful home that seemed to be in the middle of nowhere.

Silas noticed that the door was open, however it sounded as if no one was home. He walked up to the frame of the door and looked in, narrowing his eyes slightly.

Something isn't right...There's a feeling of ominous feeling about this...The owner of this house knows pain

Silas waited a few moments before walking in and exploring the lower level of the house for a bit. When he entered he could tell someone was in fact in the house, however at this point he didn't care. It seemed rather homely, and it was secluded. A perfect place for him to call home on nights like this. He walked towards the fireplace and stared deeply into the fire when suddenly he heard a thud. Silas merely looked up and started walking up the stairs.

He walked to where he believed to be the origin of the thud and when he did he stumbled upon a girl curled up on the floor in her robe. He simply approached her.

"That's the beautiful thing about life...We go out, we experience and we make mistakes and we hurt...But in the end we recover, in the end we're still alive", he said to her. He wasn't sure what exactly was wrong as the girl seemed fine so maybe she was going through a breakup or some other event. However he hoped his words would get to her. After all whatever had happened to her, the worst was over. Now it was time to heal, to forgive and forget.

The footsteps eluded her, and the only sound she could hear was the sobbing she was doing. Had she heard the man coming, she would have reacted much sooner. So when he said something, Fiora's body lifted and she fell to her side. The immortal was a strong, fearless warrior that stood before a dragon with no sign of being afraid. However, she looked scared beyond words. Her long silver hair fell across her lap and her vibrant pink eyes meeting his bright golden eyes. There was a moment were she had lost all sense of herself. What was she to do in that moment? Was he there to steal from her? A thief that was there to take from a thief was never good.

No she needed to not let herself be weak. Fiora shuffled to her feet, as weak as they felt, and fell against the wall. Her left am limp but her right taking strides to find her custom weapon that rested at the side of her bed. "G-Get out!" Her voice was broken. Everything about her screamed in agony as she stumbled to her bed. Her white sheets had been ruined by blood, each thread stained by her own blood.

"Please leave me be.." Fiora went for her weapon and attempted to pick it up, but it was no use. She couldn't for the life of her pick up the weapon she had been trained to use. Even though Wade had healed her, her body still felt weak and deprived of strength. No one could imagine what it felt like to see mortality smack you in the face. Not when immortality was what had faced you for hundreds of years.

Fiora was fighting each demon that crawled up her, even as she held herself up using the wall beside her bed she fought. Her robe barely being held together by a loose fitted string. The white silk sliding across her wet skin made goosebumps crawl up her body. It was cold, and to make matters worse her hair was still soaking wet. Why was this happening to her?

No one had ever come to her home, never had they shown up at her door step. Not even with girl scout cookies. Why now? Why all of a sudden this man shows up after the most traumatic moment in her life had just occurred? "Please..." Her plea was pathetic. Especially to someone that didn't know how strong of a person she normally was. It would make anyone wonder how someone like her could survive in a city like Niwa.

Silas watched as the woman scrambled, looking for something. He saw that she reached over for a weapon and he sighed. "Is this what you want?", he said as he bent over the picked it up. He looked around noticing the blood around the room, on the sheets and then he turned back and looked at her. "I can tell you it won't help you", he said as he took the weapon and stabbed himself in the stomach with it. He didn't seem to show pain, he merely winced for less than a moment. He pulled the weapon out and then dropped in on the floor before walking closer to her.

"Don't beg to me...I won't hurt you", he said as he moved right in front of her. "Truth me told I just need a place for the night...and it seems like you need someone to be there for you tonight. So maybe we can help each other. You can trust me"

Fiora held her breath as the man picked up her sword, if it had been her custom blade she would not have allowed him to touch it. She winced as he slid the blade through his stomach a bit, and pulled it back out. "I'm not afraid of you.." She was afraid of everything right now. Every second that she was awake she imagined bloody spikes coming from the ground and severing her body into multiple pieces. Every time she closed her eyes she saw her arm departing from her body. Every single breath she felt it was her last. Not everyone that experienced something like that came out alive, and to be honest, was it better to have lived then to have just died? She would not have had to suffer so badly if her life would have ended.

She didn't want anyone near her. The fact of the matter, maybe she 'needed' someone. The immortal climbed over her bed and shuffled to the other side, the sheets getting entangled between her legs so as she got up they pulled her back. The force making her tumble down off the bed and to the floor. "Trust?!" She lightly screamed. She sat on her knees with her legs spread apart under her. Her robe all but falling of her shoulders. Her hands raised in front of her as she looked down at them. They trembled. Her left arm barely having any mobility, even if she could move it as she had any day before then.

There were a lot of rooms in her home, he could have slipped into one of them and she would have never known. Either that meant he was lying to her or he had some concern for her. Either way, Fiora closed her hands into a fist and hunched over once more. Her eyes shut and her head shook back and forth.

"I can't trust anyone. What makes you so fucking different?" her words were harsh, but could one blame her? He didn't know what had happened, and he probably wouldn't. He could easily take what is hers, kill her and sleep in her bloody sheets.

She opened her eyes and looked towards him, "Obviously I can't stop you right now, just... do what you want..." Fiora had fallen into such defeat that it was pathetic. Her arm fell limp again as she leaned back against the edge of her bed. Maybe someone would find her a few days later in the same spot, maybe she'd crawl into bed. At that point, the only thing that was certain was that there was a strange, handsome looking guy in her home... looking for a place to sleep.

Silas
As she stated she wasn't afraid of him, Silas knew she was lying. She was alone in this mentally crippled state, barely able to get a hold of herself. She was terrified, and while it might not be because of him exactly, something had gotten to her, something had rattled her cage. Silas sighed as he took off his shirt, revealing his fit muscular body to her. While it was true that with his charm and good looks, he was eye candy for anyone who saw him like this, he wanted to show her that the injury that would have been on his stomach from the blade was gone, as if it had never punctured him at all. He then crunched his shirt up in his hands and threw it over his shoulder. It was ruined and he wasn't the type of man to walk around with a shirt with a hole in it. Now he stared at her with his piercing gold eyes. She had a tone with him after he tried to be nice to her, and that was a disrespect he was going to address immediately.

"Let me be very clear with you mortal. I don't know anything about you. You could be the strongest, fastest, most deadly entity in existence and that doesn't matter to me because I cannot be killed, I cannot die. I'm saying this because I want you to understand that I have absolutely no reason to fear you or anything and no reason to really care for any repercussion. So when I say trust me, you should, because you could have easily been killed by my hands already", he said coldly.

However after that statement his disposition seemed to lighten up. The woman before him seemed pathetic and truth be told it seemed pretty childish to him. However that was because he didn't know the full story. To him she just seemed like she had trust issues, however due to the fact that she was only in a robe he could tell that there appeared to be nothing wrong with her physically. He thought it was merely girl drama, however what he couldn't rationalize was the blood all over the place. Perhaps she killed someone who was close to her and now she was losing her mind, or perhaps she was psycho to begin with. Truthfully he didn't care for the reasons, however this girl definitely needed someone to help her and while he didn't exactly care for it, he did like the house and he had might as well crash there for the night.

He sat next to her on the edge of the bed, and sighed as he wrapped his arms around her. He really didn't care for the fact that she was in a robe, after all she was an attractive girl so as far as he was concerned there was nothing to lose.

"I guess you can say I'm different because I don't necessarily care for what happens to you. I've watched generations die so another person can come and go in my life. However think of that harsh statement as kind of a blessing in disguise. I have no reason to harm you, I have no reason to put you down any further than you are now. So I guess I'll help you...and in return you can help me by giving me a place to stay", he said. As he spoke his voice slowly became more friendly and warm. He then turned his face to her to look her in the eyes at this close distance. "Now tell me what happened to you...perhaps explaining all this blood could be a start"

He thought her mortal...

That was humorous...

He spoke of not being killed, and so he would never understand the threat of mortality as it lay there in front of him. Was the comfort of a man that didn't care what she needed? Someone that was only there for his own benefit, but would take the downside of getting what he wanted just because he could handle it. His words were harsh, but she didn't are one little bit. Nothing could hurt more then what had happened to her. There wasn't a shred of agony that could fall upon her that would overtake what had happened to her just less then twenty-four hours ago. No words that he spoke would break her heart as watching her best friend... her sister care for another more then her.

Maybe she had been selfish, to expect that so much from Aurael. She had left her for over three hundred years, maybe she needed to come to the actualization that Aurael needed someone other then herself.

"Okay.."
Was all she said, whether she meant it or not was not present in her tone.

Fiora had let him wrap his arm around her and pull her into him. This strange man, built to a T, coming into her home without permission sat with her. A broken heart that didn't know where to go for aid. Her still wet silver hair brushed against his bare back as she leaned her head over and rested it onto his shoulder.

Only when he was done talking, did Fiora speak. "You automatically assume that I am mortal; no you are wrong. Eternal youth grasps me by the throat and keeps me living throughout time." Her words were soft, barely above a whisper. Though, it didn't need much for him to hear her, because they were so close to one another. "I'm glad you don't care, it makes it easier for me not to." Fiora was tired of caring, so to have someone for once say they just don't care was a relief. Maybe not a good one to some, but it was for her. At least, at that moment it was one that she would particularly find comfort in.

"As for the blood..." She moved her arm across her shoulder and gripped at the arm that was tucked between him and her, and shuttered. "It's mine.."

Fiora wondered if she could stomach talking about what had happened just yesterday. Would she be able to tell him? No, it was just too soon to speak it out loud. Even if he wanted to know more, she couldn't bring herself to swallow her sickness and speak of it. Though, by the amount that was there, it was obvious that it was bad. Even if she looked fine, there was no reason for her to lie to him.

"It was mine.. I should say.." She looked up and into his eyes, his allure grasping hold of her for a moment as she felt calm. Her body finding a sense of peace for a moment, before she shook her head and took her gaze from him again. "All of it."

The tingle of her wet hair touching his body was a cool sensation and as she leaned her head into his shoulder he lowered his arm, now hugging her waist. It seemed like the blood was all hers, yet here she was alive in front of him. She just explained that she was eternally young and thus not mortal, so he surmised that was why she didn't die from bleeding out, nor have any apparent wounds on her body. However the way she described her existence, it sounded as if she were young forever.

"I'm afraid you are still mistaken. Immortality is the ability to live forever...and if you are just forever young then that is a different thing entirely. Being mortal means you are subject to death at any given time...advanced healing to the point of a prolonged youth doesn't change the fact that you can die"

However this woman was obviously wounded mentally and Silas decided that perhaps talking to her about what happened wasn't right at the moment...she'll open up to him in time, so what he had to do was just make her feel comfortable, bring her at peace until her trembling stopped completely.

"But say you were immortal...you can live an eternity looking young, however your mind will grow and over time that will be your biggest liability. I can tell you have it all, the beauty, the luxury, almost anything you could ever want, however if you let the ghosts of your past haunt your mind, the eternal existence will be a miserable one", he said as he let her go and moved slightly.

He had noticed that the one thing she was consistent with had to do with something about her left arm. He merely raised his hand and stroke it gently.

"I don't know what's traumatized you...what's hurt you, but it's gone now. You can feel me touching you now and that's all that should matter"

"It doesn't matter..." Fiora cared little to know if she were any specific kind of immortal. She had mortality and immortality to look forward to in her life. It was a curse and a blessing all at the same time. All she knew was that it meant nothing to her right now. Even as she starred off at her floor, her eyes became dead--lifeless.

He then spoke of the trauma she had endured, and that it was finally over. Little did he know. Someone that can stab himself and recover so quickly would never know the pain she had just suffered. A crooked smile crossed her lip as she shook her head. Someone like him, he'd never understand.

How could anyone understand?

When his hand brushed against her arm, she closed her eyes and leaned off to the side away from him. The sensation of his skin against her own wasn't felt, the feeling of her arm being dead was still going to be there. Even if medically she was alright, her mental ability to grasp that her arm had been detached from her body was not something she would be able to get over in a day or two. Maybe not even a week. All that blood...

"Gott, es ist kalt hier ..."
"God, it's cold in here..."

Fiora's German was better then her Japanese was. Her body shivered as she moved her right hand over and pulled her robe up more. As much as modest fell out the window the moment this guy walked through her door, she wasn't ready to spill all her goodies for him.

"Dieser Schmerz wird nie vergehen" "This hurt will never go away"

The immortal looked up at him again, trying not to meet his gaze, she was afraid that it would keep her from feeling. The pain was all she wanted right now. It reminded her that she was alive. Even if being alive wasn't the best thing right now for her. His touch was nice, but it would not numb the heartache she felt. "I need to put clothes on.." She said, pulling away from him and slowly standing up.

Stumbling a bit, she caught her balance on the nightstand before moving over towards her closet. It was going to be impossible for her to put anything on in her condition, but she needed to try. Sitting there naked was only going to make her sick. Thankfully she had a walk in closet with all the essentials she needed. Clothes upon clothes that she could choose from. None of which would be easy to put on.

She wanted to move her arm, use it as she had before, but she just couldn't...

Perhaps his words weren't right the first time around, but could they be? It wasn't exactly a walk in the park to relax a complete stranger who had just went through a traumatic experience, and the immortal was starting to understand that. He sighed as he wondered what exactly did he get himself into. She was distant, that was obvious. She moved away from his touch, yet at the same time he had a feeling it was because of more than just his touch. Her arm was cold, as if lifeless although everything seemed to be okay. Her problems were now obviously psychological, so now the only issue was bringing her back to reality.

She got up avoiding his eyes and said she needed to get dressed and he watched as she stumbled away from him to her walk in closet. "Ich verstehe, etwas sagen wenn Sie mich brauchen", he said in German, loud enough for her to hear him on the other side of the door. Silas after all did live a long life and had acquired multiple talents over the ages. Especially due to the fact that he grew up in Europe when he was young and spent many centuries there he learned a myriad of languages and cultures just in case he had to fit in for a few decades or so.

As she was gone he wondered what he could do to help her.

She is in a weak mental state...I'm sure if I just use the powers of persuasion I could convince her to take it easy. But that's only a temporary fix I need to do something for the long run if I'm to stay here. Perhaps if I got into her subconscious I could calm her down from the inside out. I might only be temporary but it's a start
