Niwa's Recent News
  • 19 April 2015 -- Niwa is under new management!

Niwa is now under new management as we strive to stand up the the standards of fun and entertaining roleplaying we have so far provided here at Niwa. Today makes the start of a campaign to bring in new members as Head Admin Akaiken and Support Admin Sparky work together to improve and uphold the current face of Niwa and keep us all moving forward!

They said this was a city for our kind, they said it was a safe haven from the rest of the world. This was suppose to be the city where we where safe from regular humans. But, in a city where Meta-Humans run rampant, is there such thing as safety? When taking what you want is as simple as waving your hand, or closing your eyes, how can there be law? In this city, the truth is there is only one source of law, and that are the different criminal organizations that have formed all around us. The only order is that of the darkest part of humanity, of criminal organizations where the strong thrive while the weak gasp for air. This is Niwa Nights.. This is our home.

Can you survive it?

Shipping Yard

"Tell me who else knows about the attack!!!" A loud, angry voice could be heard echoing throughout the shipping yard. A swift punch to the face, the sound of breaking bones, and the bellowing cries for help filled the cold night air. Anael, a bodyguard for the next heir to one of the Yakuza clans knelled over a bleeding, bruised up man. Her deep red eyes watched as the man die within her hands. She bare her teeth, and pulled her long, Katana like sword from its sheath. Bringing it around she lay the nicely sharpened blade against his neck and pulled him closer to her. "You don't have to suffer, if you will just talk!" Her voice was loud and brass. She wasn't going to not get any kind of information out of them, it wasn't going to end like that.

She put the blade a bit closer to his neck, the blade slicing just below the skin. "Tell me who knows about the attack on Cerberus, and I'll kill you quickly." Anael spat at the man, her arm tightly gripping his shirt keeping him above the ground. The man, began trying to laugh, blood being drawn out of his mouth.

"Fuck...Yakuza scum.." He was able to muster out.

Anael hissed at him and dropped him from her grasp, letting him hit the ground hard. Anael stood up and swung her sword around, then sliding it back into the sheath.

She had been assigned on a detail mission, just to get information, but when the guy spotted her and shot at her. It was all fair game at that point. He had mentioned during the beginning of their fight that Cerberus was onto the attack happening from the Yakuza, but it couldn't be. They had been so quiet. Anael couldn't let him live, but she needed to know who else knew about the attack. To shut them up.

Moving towards the dying man, Anael pressed her heel against the mans throat, and pushing it down slowly. "You, will tell me...what I want to know. Or you will die slowly." Anael wasn't fucking around this time, she would kill the man in cold blood without hesitation. "Now spill it!!" Again, the man spat at Anael, the blood getting on her and he smiled and shook his head.

Anael shook her head. "Whatever, its your funeral." With that, she pushed down her heel, straight into the guys throat. She wasted no time, hearing a car coming up, Anael headed for the hills. The only clew left behind was the bloody heel marks she left behind her.

Mizu wasn't offended in the slightest at Johnathan's words, she had been taunted and teased like that for centuries. The fact of the matter was, her body would never grow again. Even if she worked out daily her body wouldn't get bigger. It was truly a cruse, one that would haunt her for eternity. Attalu on the other hand was stirring. She cursed and fought to break free, though Mizu would not let her. The fact was that they needed to get in there, and not raise a scene, Attalu would stick out way to much and that would hurt any chance that they had of getting any information.

"Look I may not look like I'm useful, but I can be if you just ---" As she was talking, Mizu felt her body being lifted in the air and she scrambled for solid ground. When Johnathan pulled her towards him, the space between them was nil to none, and Mizu panicked. What was he doing?! As he spoke to her, Attalu had, had enough.

"You will not put your hands on me.."

The voice that was released from Mizu's voice was different, the sound was flowing with a deeper tone. It echoed louder then it had before and had a angelic ring to it. As Johnathan dropped her however, its like he hit a button inside of her, letting Attalu take control.

"You boy, are lucky we are for the same team." Mizu's tiny body lifted inches off the ground, giving way to her dramatic transformation. Her body was filled with a glowing blue light that blasted away almost instantly. Showing a taller more fitted woman before Johnathan. She stood just past five feet nine inches. Her long brightly glowing hair was free-flowing, the length of it extending past her thighs. Her armor platted wrists began forming two synthetic blades.

---- x ----

Anael turned her head quickly, feeling something, or maybe it was the bright light that gleamed through the windows that gave away something. Someone was here. Anael stood up quickly, and kicked back her chair. The men sitting around her stood up and grabbed hold of their guns and pulled them out without hesitation. Turning to them, Anael waved her hands at them. "Put those down...you" She pointed one of the men. "Go see whats going on outside. We all don't need to die." She stood there and waited for the man to start heading out of the warehouse.

The man began walking towards the door and opened it to the outside.

Johnathan wasn't surprised by her anger towards him but he also didn't care. She seemed like a whine girl who was trying to be the good neighborhood watch. There wasn't a place for that type of person in this world. The weak died in this world he knew the all to well. Survival of the fittest.

"Hey Girl, if you want to do somethin' about it by all means you can follow me in but don't bla~."He stopped mid sentence as there was a flash of light. "Oh you got to be Mother Fuckin Shitting Me!" Johnathan whipped around and sprinted towards the now different Mizu. Hell He didn't even know if it was the same fucking person but he knew if they wanted to live he had to do it.

"You stupid fucking girl!" He said as he collided with her at full force tackle literally knocking her about 5 feet back into the next building over wall with a loud smack. Less than a second later Johnathan reconnected with her body slamming her even harder against it while he also made contact with the same wall.

He could hear someone coming. Thankfully his power kicked in and he pushed Mizu and himself through the wall like it wasn't there leaving nothing behind but a dent in the metal wall of the warehouse the just entered. Hopefully who ever was sent to investigate was too stupid to realize some one was there and the lack of bodies would confuse them into thinking maybe it was some sort of other anomaly.

"What in the fuck are you trying to pull here?" Johnathan said to the obviously different Mizu who he was still on top of." You trying to get us fucking killed?" He was on the verge of almost letting his rage out on her. He could though no she was a comrade and fratricide was horrible looked down on in any organization.

The man exited the building, and looked around. The idiot looked up at the light above the area and noticed that it was flickering on and off. He scratched his head, then made his way back in the warehouse and spoke. "Nothing, it was a faulty light outside you must have seen." Anael was no idiot, that light...it was like the sun bursting through the warehouse. But for now, she would let it go.

"Shall we continue?" Anael spoke with cold intent.

---- x ----

Attalu was shocked that the man forced himself against her and slammed her, not against, but through a wall. Nothing would surprise her after that, vampires, healers, now someone that can morph through solid objects. Mizu and Attalu shared the same feeling on that one. As they both hit the ground in the next building, Attalu grunted. Her hands hitting the ground beside her and her eyes shut as the impact rattled her brain. Mizu as well could feel the pain of the hit and grunted. The pain that Attalu felt, Mizu felt as well, but for Mizu it was ten times worse, for she was the human part of their existence.

"Mizu...are you alright?" Attalu spoke out loudly, not on purpose but out of reaction to the impact. Opening her eyes she saw the man on top of her, straddling her body with fury in his eyes. He spoke down to Attalu, which was the worst thing you could do to a God. The fact he was on her didn't bother her so much, Attalu was starved for male interaction after so many years, but this guy, she'd rather hump a lion then consider having him on top of her again.

Her lavender eyes burned deep into his, her body began to disappear, it vanished into a cloud of dark purple smoke. Without warning, Attalu's body pressed up against the back of Johnathan's, her blade pressing up against his neck she whispered into his ear.
"You were the only one that was worried there sweet heart." Her tone was a bit condescending as she stood up and released the blade from his neck.

'Attalu, I'm alright, but be nice! We need him as much as he needs us, even if neither of you can admit that. We don't know how many people are in there...just, trust me. Please.'
She turned from him and looked out a small window towards the other building. Attalu listened to Mizu speak, but hated the fact she was right. This man cared only for what vengeance he thought would bring him peace. It never would, but who was Attalu to judge. She had made many mistakes in her over two thousand year existence. Facing back towards Johnathan she spoke.

"My name is Ereshkigal Attalu, but you may call me Attalu. Mizu and I are one, so I am the same woman just a different...being. Now.."
She stepped towards him. "Are we done with acting like a child, and lets focus on the mission ahead?"

Johnathan hit the ground as Mizu, disappeared from underneath him. If the other things she could do surprise him this did. He immediately looked around the room for her before freezing in place as he felt a blade against the back of his neck.

"What other surprises do you have for me now." he said as he sighed. This woman was fucking crazy. Hell not only did she talk to ghost she talked to herself, could change bodies and vanish in thin air. Seriously what god could be thinking when he created this person. Then again that was probably why he hated the man upstairs.

"So let me guess some one stole your sweet roll and you are angry about it?" Johnathan said to her. Hell if she thought him worrying about her getting them killed then she was obviously suicidal. All the fancy tricks in the world couldn't stop the chaos of war. Hell what was she playing at God himself?

As soon as he felt the blade released from the back of his neck he immediately combat rolled over to his back and pointed his weapon at the girl. He had to admit in the rush of things he didn't have a time to take a good look at her. He had to admit she was quite the bombshell. Not that the other version was bad but damn. If she had a better attitude then maybe he would've liked her a bit more who knows with looks like that maybe it didn't matter to him.

"So yeah, Attalu... or Mizu ....whats with all the names?" He said getting side tracked a bit. "Anyways, I don't care what you think you are but If you do another stupid stunt like that then we will be enemies. Otherwise we are finished with this conversation."

He got up dusting his clothes off and strolled past Attalu to the wall. Well if no one found them by know then he guessed they must have thought it was something else. He pressed his body against the wall and stuck his head through it looking to make sure the coast was clear before stepping completely through it. The woman could find her own way out not that she need him to anyways besides he didn't want to help her right now anyways.

Attalu had to bite her tongue, this wasn't fair in the slightest to her, what a fucking dick! He still condescended her and talked down to her. She clinched her fist and stood still. Her facial expression was the same, very stern looking, and a proud stance even after he shot her down. He asked her a question, an absurd one, sweet rolls? What the hell. Attalu, if she was correct in thinking he meant virginity, had lost it long ago. Why would it bother her now? She wouldn't respond to the question, knowing damn well he was being a fool and just trying to be a prick. Watching as he moved about, and spoke to her, she turned and watched him phase through the wall again. Taking two steps she opened the door and walked out, why use your powers when there was a door! Silly man.

Attalu stepped to him and put her arm across his chest for him to stop. She stepped in front of him and spoke.
"You shouldn't talk down to people that mean you no harm." That was all she said, nothing more, nothing less. Attalu didn't feel the need to explain herself to a mortal that within a few decades he would be old and wrinkly where as Mizu and Attalu would stay youthful and young. Though, after thousands of years it does get a bit lonely at the top.

Heh, the top. Mizu would mentally slap Attalu for saying they were at the top.

Anyways, as the idiot from within didn't notice them Attalu dug down deep and asked Mizu what to do. Even though Attalu was a skilled combatant, she wasn't tactical when it came to things outside of battle. They needed to just get details, information. That was all. Attalu didn't really want to spend another second with this man, so she began walking towards the stair way that led to the second level of the warehouse were Anael had gone into. Her steps were quiet, and her movements were very smooth, Attalu maybe a killing machine but she sure as hell had grace. Hoping that Johnathan wouldn't do anything stupid, Attalu turned to see if he followed her or not.

Though as much as Attalu wanted to dismiss the face that this Johnathan guy was a dick, she couldn't. Even if his looks were that of someone she'd consider good looking. She thought about it, and grinned.

'Kyyaaaa~ ATTALU! Not now, ew! Not in our head! BLAH!!!!'

Mizu struggled to keep the vivid images out of her head. Attalu couldn't help but laugh and shook her head, apologizing and keeping those thoughts to herself. Anyways, not like it mattered, after this they'd probably never see each other again. Hopefully they were in different Factions of Cerberus.

Psh no harm? Johnathan thought as he made his way towards the building. Damn woman if she though she didn't mean harm they did she put a blade to his neck. He was starting to wonder about the logic in this one. It seemed no matter what happened she was always right. Typical of a fuckin woman. Man when was he gong to get a break.

"Can't live with them can't live with out them." He mumbled it one more time as he looked up at the fire escape at Attalu. Man if he wasn't in this situation he wouldn't know what to do. Then again that would probably be nothing remembering her bad attitude. She definitely need to learn that maybe just maybe she wasn't perfect. Then again he was being quite the dick himself.

"Hehe, now lets see how she likes this plan of mine." he grinned and looked back towards the wall. She was at least almost all the way up the fire escape now. He knew it would piss her off but why know do it. Besides he like seeing her pissed off. It was a turn on and hey it was the best solution to make sure who ever was inside didn't escape. Its not like they could surround the place to prevent them from escaping.

He readied his weapon and counted to three. Hopefully this would go according to his plan. Then again .... nothing in combat ever went as planed he learned this first hand. "LETS BRING THE PAIN BABY!" He yelled at once and went in straight through the wall spraying as soon as the gun cleared. Which happened to be the first thing that did. He made sure to start close to the left center of the room and swept towards the right of it. Spraying the most likely of the place that anyone would be. If anything they would be surprised on why the wall suddenly was lit up with submachine gun fire. Then again how many people could meld through walls?

A burst of fire spread throughout the room and Anael took to the air almost instantly. Her legs spinning into action, and her body flipping as she jumped over the line of bullets. "What the fuck?!" Anael shouted as she landed on her feet and watched as the other Yakuza members were taken down with ease. She knew there was someone outside, but that fucking idiot just had to be lazy. She spat as she looked for an alternate escape route. Her thoughts went into motion as she knew there was a fire escape, but it was right behind the man. She'd have to move up onto the second floor. She turned quickly and headed towards the stairs were she sprinted up them.

"Fucking idiot what is he doing?!" Attalu yelled, which startled Anael as she turned the corner and faced the blue haired Goddess. Anael's eyes opened up widely, that aura, that look on her face. Anael knew who it was. It was that bitch from the Fudo center, that came between her and another Yakuza member. Granted, it was a great thing that she did, but damn it she was always getting in the way! Even though it was Attalu in front of Anael, she wasn't a fool, she could feel the same type of god like essence coming off of her.

"Not you again!" Anael yelled out, her momentum still moving forward as she lifted her hand to swing at Attalu, her force bringing about four hundred pounds of pressure going straight for Attalu's face.

Attalu wouldn't be taken off guard, her body began disappearing again and a cloud of purple smoke filled the area. She was gone, sending Anael stumbling forward. Attalu appeared inches away from her and swung her massive platted arm and hit Anael across the head and smacked her down over the railing. Sending Anael down back to the first floor where Johnathan was. Attalu peeked over the railing and glared at Johnathan.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?! WE WERE HERE FOR INFORMATION!!!" She yelled out loudly at him.

Anael flipped to her feet and stood next to the man and spat. "Great, there are two of you."

Johnathan was glad to see he did some damage as he came through the wall. Three of the yakuza were already lie dead or wounded on the floor. The last one was scrambling up the stairs. He could already tell from the speed and skill it was the bitch that killed his friend. Hopefully Attalu was up there to cut her off as she disappeared past the steps of the second floor.

It wasn't but a second later as he heard Attalu yell and a thud following that sent the woman back down the steps. Yeah if it wasn't one crazy chick it was another. "Ughhhhh Why can't women be easy for just one night of fun?

"Well I guess I'll try to be civil." He said looking at the Yakuza bitch. He didn't want to kill her just yet despite his hatred for her. He wanted some answers first and maybe she would be civil." If you tell me why you killed my friend I promise to put a bullet in back of you skull. Quick and painless. I wouldn't want to send your family pieces of you now would i?"

He leveled his gun at the woman's head as he spoke. She could either make this easy or hard. Knowing how the night was going it probably was going to be the later of the two. In fact he already could tell. "Eh fuck it" With that he pulled the trigger of his MP7 and let loose the remainder of his clip.

Anael listened to him talk, and stood up slowly. A grin formed on her face as he then said 'fuck it' she knew what was coming, and she didn't need to say anything. Dropping quickly she spun her body around, way to quick for the guy to respond and kicked his legs. Tripping him up, which in term began the gun shooting, spraying up into the air. The bullets went flying up towards Attalu, and she jumped out of the way, barely missing the spray of bullets.

Attalu stood up and waved her hands into the air, god this is why they hated weapons. Especially if they didn't know how to shoot correctly. It didn't surprise her that he flailed the gun all over the place. "WATCH IT!!!" When she noticed it wasn't his fault that the gun was going all crazy. Anael had tripped him up, and sending the gun straight into the air. Damn it.

Anael took the gun from his hand as he went to the floor and did a side step. All of this occurred within seconds. She laughed loudly and put the gun up towards him. Her laugh was demonic, whether or not he was on the ground she now had his automatic weapon facing straight at him.

"Aww...you're right. Fuck it."

Before she was able to pull the trigger Attalu appeared before her hand smacked the gun hard out of Anael's hand. The gun smashed against the wall, shattering it to pieces. Attalu swung her long blade towards Anael and grunted, trying to swing as hard as she can.

Anael spun around, the blade barely slicing across her cheek and drawing blood. With a few back flips Anael stood up and pulled out her long Katana out of its sheath and raised her hand towards them and gestured them to come and her.

"Bring it."

It happened way to fast for Johnathan to even realize what happened before it was too late. He could already feel himself spinning in mid air as his hand squeezed the trigger letting off a long burst of rounds that went straight for where Attalu was.

"Fuc~" was all he was able to say before his head collided with the concrete floor. He immediately rolled over on his belly clutching his head trying to get his wits about him. It took him a couple of seconds before he stopped seeing doubles and was able be aware of what was going on.

*Crack*

Johnathans eyes went wide with shock.."Oh hell no... Motha Fuckin Bitch Broke My Motha Fuckin weapon!." It wasn't the best choice of words to interject at this point in the fight but she broke his pride and joy. "Attula .... for a all powerful being ya think you could have saved my weapon."

He paused long enough to get up and pull out his knife "Now I know what you're all thinking what could the guy with the knife possible do? I assure you I have a very valid point to make" He said walking in the middle of the two women.

"Now you stole my weapon." He said pointing over to Anael "And you broke it." He turned and looked at Attalu. "So who in this fuckin building gonna pay for my mother fuckin gun?"
