| They said this was a city for our kind, they said it was a safe haven from the rest of the world. This was suppose to be the city where we where safe from regular humans. But, in a city where Meta-Humans run rampant, is there such thing as safety? When taking what you want is as simple as waving your hand, or closing your eyes, how can there be law? In this city, the truth is there is only one source of law, and that are the different criminal organizations that have formed all around us. The only order is that of the darkest part of humanity, of criminal organizations where the strong thrive while the weak gasp for air. This is Niwa Nights.. This is our home. Can you survive it? Shipping Yard November 11th, 2012 2:56 AM "Tell me who else knows about the attack!!!" A loud, angry voice could be heard echoing throughout the shipping yard. A swift punch to the face, the sound of breaking bones, and the bellowing cries for help filled the cold night air. Anael, a bodyguard for the next heir to one of the Yakuza clans knelled over a bleeding, bruised up man. Her deep red eyes watched as the man die within her hands. She bare her teeth, and pulled her long, Katana like sword from its sheath. Bringing it around she lay the nicely sharpened blade against his neck and pulled him closer to her. "You don't have to suffer, if you will just talk!" Her voice was loud and brass. She wasn't going to not get any kind of information out of them, it wasn't going to end like that. She put the blade a bit closer to his neck, the blade slicing just below the skin. "Tell me who knows about the attack on Cerberus, and I'll kill you quickly." Anael spat at the man, her arm tightly gripping his shirt keeping him above the ground. The man, began trying to laugh, blood being drawn out of his mouth. "Fuck...Yakuza scum.." He was able to muster out. Anael hissed at him and dropped him from her grasp, letting him hit the ground hard. Anael stood up and swung her sword around, then sliding it back into the sheath. She had been assigned on a detail mission, just to get information, but when the guy spotted her and shot at her. It was all fair game at that point. He had mentioned during the beginning of their fight that Cerberus was onto the attack happening from the Yakuza, but it couldn't be. They had been so quiet. Anael couldn't let him live, but she needed to know who else knew about the attack. To shut them up. Moving towards the dying man, Anael pressed her heel against the mans throat, and pushing it down slowly. "You, will tell me...what I want to know. Or you will die slowly." Anael wasn't fucking around this time, she would kill the man in cold blood without hesitation. "Now spill it!!" Again, the man spat at Anael, the blood getting on her and he smiled and shook his head. Anael shook her head. "Whatever, its your funeral." With that, she pushed down her heel, straight into the guys throat. She wasted no time, hearing a car coming up, Anael headed for the hills. The only clew left behind was the bloody heel marks she left behind her. Edited by Aurora, Nov 11 2012, 05:53 AM.

Johnathan's Apartment November 11th, 2012 2:03 AM *Briiiiiiiiiiiing, Briiiiiiiiiiing, Briiiiiiiiiing* Johnathan's phone lit up with blue lights as it rang on his bed side table while making an awful racket as it rang and vibrated. The shear annoyance of it was enough to wake him from his slumber causing him to fumble around for it for a few second before answering. "Hello?" His voice was that of a tired and one annoyed individual as he spoke."Man who ever this is you better have a good reason for calling me so late." He looked down at his phone to see if he could recognize the number that was listed. "Wiseman, hey get the fuck down here. I'm in some shit man." The voice was that of his dear friend Aleksandr. His voice was shake and disturbed. "Oh shit, Oh shit man. I'm done for." "Yo Alex what the fuc~" Johnathan was then cut off by two loud reports of a gun and from the sound of it him scrambling around on the ground. "The Shipping yard, normal meeting place just get here." With that the phone call was ended by the other side and Johnathan knew way to well no mater how many times he called it no one would answer. "What the Fuck did you get into Alex?" He sighed to himself. Tonight was going to be a long night. He had to move and fast if he was to get to Alex while he was still alive. Hopefully he could save him but first he would need some back up. It was time to call in the Calvary. Johnathans Text to Cerberus HQ ALLCON, Back up needed at Shipping yard. Suspected information on an attack on us. Contact may be dead. -Wiseman Shipping Yard November 11th, 2012 2:56 AM It took him nearly 50 minutes to get to the shipping yard. It didn't matter how fast he drove. He had to get his clothes gear and drive like a bat out of hell just make here this fast. Not to mention dodge some police. He was sure he would have to deal with some inquiries with police on that. His car came to a screeching halt as he pulled up next to the building his friend used to house the weapon shipments he delivered to Johnathan to disperse to other various contacts around the city. The place was quiet, too quiet. He was ready though and his MP7 would make short work of anyone who might be still there that meant him harm. "Alex you there?" He said in a loud voice as he pulled open the door. It didn't take him long to realize Alex laying in a pool of his own blood. Still gargling as blood poured out of his throat. "What the fuck, ALEX!" Johnathan rushed to his side and knelt beside him and held his hand as the last vestige life was extinguished. "FUUUUUUCK, You were suppose to be better than this. what Coward did this to you." He asked more to himself than to his dead friend on the floor. He had tasted the loss of yet another comrade. Who ever was responsible was still close by. He would find them and he would kill them. He would get revenge for his comrade he lost tonight. |

Mizu rushed towards the shipping yard, she was half asleep, but when duty called, duty called. She had got a call from her faction leader that a fellow Cerberus member needed back up, and Mizu would be able to help. Attalu was more of the attack person; Mizu didn’t really know how she would be able to help out Cerberus in any fashion. Though her ability to talk to the recently departed was a true gift for figuring out who murdered them, it wouldn’t come in handy trying to save someone that may or may not be targeted for an attack. Though Mizu may have been a bit nervous, she knew she had Attalu right there if she needed her. 'Mizu, maybe I should be taking care of this.' 'No, Attalu...not right now...' As she approached, Mizu saw a car parked and quickly got to cover. Not wanting to be seen by the person hovering over the body, she waited. Pulling out her phone she flipped it open and clicked the green dial button twice. She spoke with a low voice, left hand covering over her mouth and her right holding up her phone to her ear. “Hello, sir. Mizu here...what was the description of the man that called for backup?” As the description of the man came through, Mizu nodded her head and closed her phone. It was Johnathan for sure. Clearing her throat, she made herself known to him. “Johnathan, you called for backup.” She stepped out from the back of the crate and approached him as he stood over the demolished body that was the contact. Taking a deep breath she walked to him, her tiny body standing next to him as she spoke again. “Mizuiro Aoi Tsugumi, but please call me Mizu.” She bent over, and put her hand to the guy’s chest. Sorrow filled Mizu’s eyes as she looked him up and down. She wore a black outfit, her pants were black and her tight knit t-shirt was pitch black. Her long, light sky blue hair was up in a ponytail, and she wore black sneakers. Yeah, she wasn’t much for sneaking around because of her bright ass blue hair, but she did attempt to be a bit sneaky. She looked up at Johnathan and took a deep breath. “I’m going to try and contact him, so if you want me to ask him anything specific, just let me know.” Mizu turned from him; she had to be quick, the longer she waited the harder it was to make contact. “Sir…” Her voice was soft; the essence around her began showing a bright blue. Her hands were raised up as she waited for a response. “...my name is Mizuiro Tsugumi, please; I’d like it if we could talk before you headed off to a better place.” The dead were not mournful, they did not hate, and all they wanted was peace. She knew this better than anyone; Mizu had spoken to all kinds of people after they parted from this world. Whether their death is by disease, old age or murder, they all had the same sense of being. They just wanted to move on. Mizu would not keep this poor man from doing just that, but they needed the information of what happened. ---x--- Anael huffed and puffed as she made her way down the shipping yard, her speed decreasing as she got a good distance away. The Yakuza wouldn’t be happy she couldn’t get any information out of him, but at least if he were the only one that did know, he wouldn’t be telling anyone anytime soon. Her hand reached into her bra and pulled out her phone; dialing back a number she put the phone to her ear. “Anael Tanaka, yes sir. He has been eliminated, but I wasn’t able to get anything from him.” She was walking by that time, her head nodding and her arm gracefully placing itself on her hip. “Alright, I'm heading there now.” Anael hug up the phone and sighed; she wore her Yakuza outfit that night, it was perfect for such an occasion. True fully, Anael felt like a true bad ass when she wore that outfit and she loved it. Anyways, off topic, she needed to head on over to a meeting a few other members of the Yakuza were having. They needed to discuss the next plan of attack, and even though Anael wasn’t one for these kinds of things, she was going to be in the attack because her employer was making her. Like a child being grounded, she went to her room and agreed. “Psh, stupid.” She spoke out loud, her movements became faster again as she headed down the shipping yard. |

Johnathan stood up and spun around as he realized he wasn't alone anymore. His hand was already on his MP7 submachine gun which was half hidden by his duster he wore. "Ah, you should be more careful when you make yourself known." He said as she explained she was his back up. It wasn't a smart thing to walk up on him. Especially when he was the shoot first ask questions later type of guy. "Mizu, is it? I can't say i've seen you before at Cerberus but you are a welcomed sight." Johnathan said as politely as he could trying to hide the distaste in his words. He was a trained soldier and he couldn't see why in the hell they sent him such a small girl for back up. "It seems we have a killer on the loose. I want to find answers." He placed his MP7 over his shoulder letting it rest there. He looked at the woman. Hopefully she wouldn't slow him down but her ability could help. Yes as long as she didn't get in the way of him fighting everything would turn out to be just great. "If you could ask him who killed him and why that would be most appreciated." He paused for a moment as he looked back down at his friends body and the blood foot prints that led out of the building. "And if you could be quick. . . I don't want my prey to get away. I thrust for the blood of my enemies tonight and I will be their personal boat master to the gates of hell itself." ----x---- Alex stood there his but he wasn't in his body. No he was sure he was dead and his soul was outside his body. He could see everything that was going on but no one could see him. Was this what death offered. He didn't know but he knew this wasn't the end place he would be. Like another home was waiting for him some where else calling out for him to rest for eternity. How ever he stayed for a moment to look over his friend how had come to his side."Thanks my friend but you were too late. I'm dead and I was killed by that Yakuza bitch. If only it ended up differently."His words held no malice he was quite happy he had friends like Johnathan. How ever it seemed there was a new person in the group. A woman who he felt drawn to. He could tell she knew he was there even before she spoke to him. "Ah You can speak to me." Surprise was evident in his voice. "How can you speak to the dead. Are you hear to take my soul to the place beyond? |

'Tsk, this guy...you made sure to make yourself known, and how dare he--' Mizu pushed back Attalu as she watched the spirit of the man appear before her. Normally, the spirits of the recently departed were very lost and confused, but the man before her seemed at peace. He knew what had happened and wasn't afraid, which would make this a lot easier for Mizu. "I'm a friend. I'm not here to take you away. That time will come after we are done talking, I promise." She paused and smiled at the man, making him feel at ease. "Your friend here, even if he cannot see you, knows you are here." Mizu's voice, to Johnathan, would be impossible to understand. As Mizu's mouth moved, the sound that was coming out of her lips were ones of a supernatural tongue. The language would sound like Egyptian mixed with Russian. It had a slightly high pitch to it, and sounded like it had no syllables. The language wasn't one that was learned, it was just part of her gift. In the tongue that Johnathan would understand, she spoke. "He said thank you for coming.. and a member of the Yakuza did this... I'll ask more." She turned back towards the man and then spoke again. "Do you know who the member was and why would they attack you?" Mizu couldn't touch spirits, but her essence made them feel at ease around her. Like she were also part of the dead. "What the fuck." Was Johnathan's only response as he listened to this Mizu person. She wasn't even speaking a language he could understand. He almost wonder if she was making it up. His face went sour as he heard it. He just wanted to get this over with. "Oh he said that did he?" He was half believing and half condescending. He would like to believe her but could she actually talk to the dead. It seemed more like that church bullshit he heard on TV with the guys running around and speaking in tongues. "Well Lets get this over with. I have a mission to complete and I would like to finish it tonight so try and move with a sense of purpose." He said moving his gun from his shoulder and pointed it to the ground. It was a gesture to get his point across. ---X--- "Oh, Thank you. You have been kind to me but all i know is her name. Anael she said it before she killed me." He looked back at his body on the ground. "She's a fierce enemy to be had. So strong and violent for a woman. She was Yakuza I could tell that much at least by her out fit." Alex moved around the room towards Johnathan and rested his hand on his shoulder knowing that he could not feel it. "He will have a hard time with this one. Make sure he doesn't die. He's a soldier and well trained at that but she is equally just as tough as him. This is my last request before I go. I can feel them calling me to join them. I can stay no longer." and with that the man named Alex ceased to exist on this earth as his spirit faded away to oblivion. |

Mizu ignored Johnathan's response to the words coming out of her mouth, and then the insulting way he mocked her. Attalu was stirring inside and wanted to be releases. But knowing that Attalu couldn't hear or see the dead like she could, she couldn't risk changing. Plus, the fact of the matter was that Johnathan was Cerberus and he wasn't the enemy here. As the spirit spoke, Mizu just listened. When he needed to go, Mizu understood and gave one more parting gift to him. She raised her hand and a blue light flew across the spirit, and then it disappeared. "Her name was Anael. She was a Yakuza member. But Johnathan.." She paused and turned towards him. "He wanted to warn you she's strong...and to be careful." The words echoed in Mizu's ear; that this would be hard for Johnathan. She understood, and that was why he was being so cold. It was his friend that was lying lifeless in front of him. Mizu reached out her hand, and touched the shoulder his friend had touched. He'd get the sensation of not Mizu touching him, but his friend. It was a psychological thing, not her power, but depending on the bond between the two the stronger the feeling would be. "I'm sorry for your loss.." She quickly states her sympathy and released her hand from him and turns where the heel marks were heading. "He didn't tell me why she was attack him, so it looks like we will have to find out ourselves." Mizu had determination in her voice, and fear was no longer present within her tone. Even if she couldn't find Mizu wanted to help and Attalu would do whatever she could to protect Mizu. "No more standing, lets go!" Mizu took off, she was a tiny frail little thing but she could move. Barely standing over five feet game her an advantage, she was quick on her feet and not easily spotted. They'd need to hurry if they wanted to catch up to the girl. ----x---- Anael reached the warehouse where she was meeting with a few of the scouts for the Yakuza. She was only going to be there to discuss what was happening within the next couple of days before the attack. Once she arrived within the large warehouse she met the three Yakuza members in the center of the main room. They began talking, nothing important at the moment, Anael hates small talk so she waited until they would start talking about something useful. Edited by Aurora, Nov 11 2012, 05:24 PM.

Johnathan stood there while he let Mizu talk to his friends spirit. His insides were festering with hatred, rage and even joy. No he wasn't going to just kill who ever did this. He was going to entertain himself with their last breath. He would make sure they had a severe emotional event. One they would remember while their Corps rotted in hell itself. His body shook at the pure thought of it. He felt like he was back on the field of battle itself back in Africa hunting down african warlord, tribal leaders and terrorist. His adrenaline had started to kick in and soon his shaking stopped. He could feel Mizu's hand on his shoulder and he felt but an ounce of peace that his friend had made it to the other side. However his face didn't show it. "Anael, you said it was? Well she hasn't known the true meaning of war and fear yet." He said as he turned around. The smile was still on his face and he thumbed over his weapons bolt chambering around with a loud metallic click. "I will not rest until i've had my fill of vengeance." He didn't need her sympathy no. Neither did his friend they both knew the fate that lied for men like him. That was in the bottom of a ditch. If some random asshole yakuza didn't do him in tonight. He was sure the American government or some other random organization would at a later date. So silently he followed her out of the building. He hope she new what was in store for tonight. War was on the air and he could taste the blood to be had. Yes as long as he got to do the killing he would let her do the talking. |

Mizu rushed forward following the bloody heel mark, it would be a long run seeing as though whoever this Anael person was had great speed. Within the time that they got there to leaving and chasing after her, only a couple of minutes had past and she was clearly over a mile or two away. The shipping yard went on for a while, but when they finally reached where the heel marks had stopped, Mizu leaned forward and put down her hands to her knees and breathed heavily. She was not built for a long run like that, and it showed. Whether or not she was mentally ready for this kind of challenge, physically she was incapable. Swallowing, and then taking in a deep breath she spoke. "We...she...in there." She pointed into a large warehouse that stood two stories up and had a nice fire escape where they could go up and be sneaky. Not guns a blazing, but trying to be stealthy. Mizu turned towards Johnathan and spoke, "We can't go in and think we have the upper hand, lets be a bit stealthier and take the fire escape up to the second floor and see if we can see anything." 'Mizu, I know you are more of the sneaky one, but please...let me come out before you guys enter the warehouse. Don't make me force my way out.' ----x---- Anael took a seat onto a chair, her and the three other Yakuza members circled up, and each of them looked at Anael and spoke. "So nothing huh? That smug bastard died without giving any information up." She nodded her head at them, what was she supposed to do the fucker wouldn't talk, and she didn't have all day. Especially with someone coming up quickly to her position. "What did you guys learn? Anything?" Anael spoke. "All I know is" one guy spoke "That someone leaked that the Yakuza was planning an attack on the Cerberus base." |

Johanathan wasn't far behind Mizu when she stopped near a large two story warehouse. He could tell she was out of breath from the run. He had to admit she was fast but she didn't have the body for continued physical activities. He on the other hand was used to it. Years of physical training and the rigors of combat had forged him into what he would like to call a machine of war. "Well you seem to be handling this very well." He was snide in the way he said it as he walked up to Mizu. He was annoyed at the lack of physical ability and the fact she kept pointing out obvious things like not going in guns blazing. It pissed him off. What was little miss ghost buster doing here. He was pretty sure they would have sent a faction I soldier. No worse they sent him the spook of faction II. "I have no idea why you are suggesting we at time like this." He said throwing off his duster revealing the a black tight fitting T-Shirt that showed his muscle and various scares he accumulated over the years. He reached down and picked up the Bent over Mizu with ease and lifted her up to eye level with him. The only think separating each other was each other was a few inches of space. "I'm not going to need a weak girl like you slowing me down. You'll only be putting yourself and me in danger by going into that building. Hit the road before things get bloody girl." Johnathan then dropped her to the ground and promptly stepped over her body as if it was a stray dog laying in the alleyway. "If you don't want to end up dead then you will know to stay away from me. I have a cursed past and death follows my wake." Edited by Garms, Nov 12 2012, 08:36 AM.
