  • 19 April 2015 -- Niwa is under new management!

Niwa is now under new management as we strive to stand up the the standards of fun and entertaining roleplaying we have so far provided here at Niwa. Today makes the start of a campaign to bring in new members as Head Admin Akaiken and Support Admin Sparky work together to improve and uphold the current face of Niwa and keep us all moving forward!

They said this was a city for our kind, they said it was a safe haven from the rest of the world. This was suppose to be the city where we where safe from regular humans. But, in a city where Meta-Humans run rampant, is there such thing as safety? When taking what you want is as simple as waving your hand, or closing your eyes, how can there be law? In this city, the truth is there is only one source of law, and that are the different criminal organizations that have formed all around us. The only order is that of the darkest part of humanity, of criminal organizations where the strong thrive while the weak gasp for air. This is Niwa Nights.. This is our home.

Can you survive it?

It was a dark night, unknown to Mizu why she decided to go out at that time. She really didn't sleep though, she'd slept for long enough in her life time that she has evolved from needing much sleep. Maybe two hours would do her just fine, but that was really stretching it. On to the topic of why Mizu was out at an old burned down shrine at such a late hour. The hour was about ten in the afternoon, and the night was clear, the sky was full of stars and there wasn't much of a breeze to speak of. Mizu wore a white top with black pants, she had flip flops on and held in her arms a sweat shirt that had a logo of a devil on it. It was one of her many college sweat shirts.

She approached te old shrine, expectin it to be in ruins, but come to find out its been rebuilt. It was recent renovated too, it didn't have the old charm that most Japanese Shrines had. Mizu thought back to the old Egyptian days where if something fell to ruin, they would instantly pick it up and begin re-building. Looking at the pyramids today, it really breaks her heart that they would let them fall like they have; even if they stand, they are still falling.

Mizu heard a crackling in the trees, she had heard that this was stomping ground for the Yakuza, and she turned quickly to face the noise. She saw nothing.

'I think this maybe better timing then ever, Mizu..'

Shaking her head, Mizu swallowed.

"N-no, we don't know what it is, it could be a bird or something." Mizu paused, hoping to god that it wasn't a person. Though, just to be safe, Mizu was allowing Attalu to begin to come out. Her bright light blue eyes were starting to fade into a purplish pink as she awaited to see what the noise was.

Mizu was excited to know that the girl wouldn't mind her joining her. At first glance, she didn't notice how tall Alessandra was in comparison to her, but she TOWERED over Mizu. Even in her Goddess form, Alessandra was a good five inches taller. This short, blue haired girl, barely stood over five feet and when she stood next to the elemental, she had to break her neck to look up at her basically. Mizu rubbed the back of her neck with her hand and began walking towards the reflection pool with Alessandra.

"Oh! I'm going to call you Alice. That is my nickname for you." Mizu said happily, prior to Alice asking her a question. Nodding her head she spoke again. "So are you some form of special being? Because you can transform. You mentioned that you don't name your other form, so you are just one person? How does that work..." Mizu hadn't actually met someone else that could transform like her. She wondered if Alice was a Goddess too!? No, that couldn't be. If her other form were a God/Goddess, they would keep their name. It would be impossible to convince the heavenly being to get rid of their name. Mizu had tried.

Wow, Alessandra hadn't quite notice how small the other girl was....but it made her look cute.~ Also, it was a first for her to be called Alice. She had heard Aless, Sandy, Drag, Andra, androgen, flamey, Phoenix and who list of weird nicknames her high school and college buddies made up for her, Alice was a first. Although, it was similar to Aless, so it wasn't too bad. Honestly, she didn't care too much what she was called. A close friendship had started because the other persona called her Ho-Bitch-Queen. Alessandra had found it so amusing it kinda stuck.

Mizu parted with her questions, and the elemental thought for a moment. She was trying to organize her thoughts so it would be easier to understand. Not that it was really that hard of a concept in the first place. "A special being is a simple way of putting it. Um, my grandfather, aside from being the most awesome person I have have known, was an Elemental, an embodiment of the element of fire. He willed me to inherit his powers when I was born. This means that I can have pyrokinetic powers and can tranform into an elemental myself." She paused to see if Mizu followed so far, and upon confirmation, she continued. "I don't change my name because when I transform, it's still me. My same thoughts, personality, mannerisms, everything. When i do it, I am just unlocking a part of myself that lays dormant most of the time. I do tend to get horny easier though... She looked thoughtful for a moment. And when she really thought about it, it was easier to transform when she was horny....weird.

Shaking her head, Alessandra brought herself back to the present. "I hope that made sense. Not everything about being an elemental is all guns and roses either. I tend to piss a lot of religious people off because, in a way, I disprove their religion. Not many of them leave much room when it comes to 'mythological' beings. She began speaking in a fake deep voice to emphasize her point. "Elementals? Those are just imaginary beings made up by heathens and paganistic religions! You are a child of sin who is dabbling in satanism!' Or whatever the opposite of their religious creed is. The more organized the religion, the more asshole-ish the people become. It isn't just christianity, either. I've been yelled at buy muslims, lectured by wiccans, hell, I have been out right cursed before. It has gotten to the point where I just usually avoid religious places..." She looked around the temple where she sat at. "Except here. At the temple of mirrors, I feel at peace...mostly."

She turned back to Mizu and laughed nervously. "I guess I got a bit carried away there. Sorry if i offended you, It wasn't an attempt to. Having a strong desire to change the subject, Aless turned Mizu's question back at her and asked where her transformation came from.

Mizu listened intently as the elemental spoke to her about her transformation, and by the sounds of it she wasn't anything like her at all. Unlike Alessandra here, Mizu was inhabited by a Goddess and that's why she transforms into a different person all together. With a small shake of the head, she assured her that she wasn't offended at all. "When you live as long as I have, you tend not to get offended by the truth." She wink at Alessandra.

"I've lived for over 2500 years, I have seen things only people can imagine about, and so when I say that what you are saying is true." She grinned and looked up at the woman. "You are speaking the truth, Alessandra-chan."

Looking out over the reflection pool as they approached, Mizu plopped her little body down onto the ground and took in a deep breath and let it out slowly. She hasn't told anyone that what she has inside of her is an actually a Goddess, but seeing as though Alessandra just shared to her what her transformation was, she only felt it was fair that she talked about Attalu.

"Now I guess it is my turn. My transformations name is Attalu, and the reason that she has a name is because she is an Ancient old Goddess from the Mesopotamian period. She took over my body when I was young, back before Christ. I had been having difficulties during that time period, life and such as a woman back then was difficult. So I prayed for a change, and Attalu used that as a way of condemning me for eternity." She grinned. "Not to say that I am hateful towards her, I use to be, but not anymore. We have moved beyond it, and now I am happy."

Well, it was a precious victory to know that she wasn't just being a bitch towards those people for no reason. Alessandra didn't usually try to be a bitch towards people who were undeserving. Well, in this case, bitch might be more of an understatement. When you piss off something that has control over fire you have to expect to get burned. She never killed anyone over something this petty, but there are a good amount of 'electrical fires' that broke out after their 'local reach out' programs. Which, usually turned out to be more of a 'HEY LET'S GO AROUND AND TELL ERRYBUDDY HOW MUCH THEY'VE BEEN FUCKIN' UP' rally.

Anyways, before Aless' own thoughts put her in a sour mood, focused on what Mizu had to say.

"A Goddess, huh? That has to be pretty useful. Do you get your own cult?" It sounded fun. Well, aside from the body snatching, but after 2500 years it would be a b it hard to hold a grudge. "So do you get bad ass reality bending powers? Or are you more a Goddess of a specific profile?" Despite her inclination towards disliking religion, it seemed the elemental was really interested in how Mizu/Attalu's stuff worked.

Mizu shook her head and rubbed the back of her neck with her hand. A cult, huh? That was a pretty random question to ask her, and she couldn't help but chuckle because of it. Just because she was a higher being, didn't make her want to be someone's God. "Heavens no, I am not in any kind of cult. I am a solo religious person. Plus" She giggled a bit and fiddled with her hands. "My views on religion is very unethical. I'd probably be stoned for my beliefs. Seeing so many religions pass over time, I've found myself mixing them together."

She could hear Attalu laugh as Alessandra asked her about her powers. Attalu did have a lot more powers in the past, but when they were locked up for over a thousand years, one loses touch with their true power.
"Attalu can teleport, and she uses blades to the damage. I, on the other hand, can talk to the recently departed. I don't do much physically." She pokes her cheek and grins. "I'm to frail, I break easily." She giggled.

Aless laughed. She couldn't really blame the girl. Given her life so far, if she had to live it ten times over, she probably would have an unorthodox view on religion as well. Or she would be exactly where she was now: Not caring. Though, if Attalu was real, didn't that mean that other monotheistic religions were wrong? There was no real law that said only one god or goddess could exist at once, save for those in monotheism. Attalu was a living testament against their claims. If they were wrong about being the only god in existence, what else were they wrong about?

It sounded like by their powers combined, they had a lot of abilities that most likely proved useful during the course of their very long life. Teleporting was one that Alessandra herself was jealous of. It must be really nice to be able to move to places at just the thought.

The elemental decided to voice her earlier confusion. Mind as well to see what this goddess possessed girl thought. "So, Attalu is a god. That flat out means monotheistic religions are wrong, at least a little bit. Right?"

“Honestly, you can tell people that there are more than one God, and they will still shout blasphemy. Monotheistic religions are wrong, correct. That is my opinion obviously.” Mizu said with a smile, she didn’t mind talking about things like this. Religion was a touchy subject however, so she needed to be careful where and who she spoke about these kinds of things. “However I’ll admit over the last thousand years people have grown when it comes to religions. They aren’t exactly killing each other in cold blood anymore.”

“Anyways…” Mizu fiddled with her hair, twirling her light blue hair into her fingertips. “Off the subject of religion, what do you do for work Alessandra-chan?” She wanted to say chan at the end of that, because Alessandra was so much taller and older looking then Mizu. Though, Mizu outright out aged her over two thousand years. It was cute, in a way.
