| They said this was a city for our kind, they said it was a safe haven from the rest of the world. This was suppose to be the city where we where safe from regular humans. But, in a city where Meta-Humans run rampant, is there such thing as safety? When taking what you want is as simple as waving your hand, or closing your eyes, how can there be law? In this city, the truth is there is only one source of law, and that are the different criminal organizations that have formed all around us. The only order is that of the darkest part of humanity, of criminal organizations where the strong thrive while the weak gasp for air. This is Niwa Nights.. This is our home. Can you survive it? "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" The sharp shriek of a man in intense pain fanned into the open sea. It traveled far, given how dire his yell of pain truly was. It was a dark and gloomy night, with a thick fog veiled over the coastline of Niwa's vibrant boardwalk. This night, however, the waterfront was still and sullen. There was an eerie feel in the atmosphere, and only a few people were even walking on the board walk. Still, everyone heard the scream. Everyone. It came from below the boardwalk. "Someone... please.... help me!" A desperate male voice called out. He tripped over his own steps and landed on the sand. His right hand clutched his chest, covered in his own blood. He stumbled madly, but managed to make his way out from beneath the shadows of the wooden piers. His face was pale, contrasting heavily with the elaborate dragon tattoo that engulfed his entire lower body. He frantically ran, constantly looking back to the shadows where he came from, until he finally fell beneath a lamp post on the beach. The salty content of the sand rubbing into his bloody wounds caused him to moan even more in pain... |

The sound of wood snapped as Takashi crunched through the toothpick in his mouth. He was relaxing at a nearby diner and just finished his food. The scream was god awful. He heard the noises and everything from clear far away. He moves and pushes himself away from the table. He places down some money, more than enough and reaches inside his coat. The Katana was hidden thanks to the coat. He slid his fingers along it as he moves quick and grabs the railing to the boardwalk and just vaults it, sailing through the air before crashing to the sand underneath, rolling to keep his momentum. Blood! The scent hit Takashi hard enough that his amber eye was flickering to a golden hue. "T-tch.." He moves and grips his katana, walking to the man. He noticed the tattoo. "Yakuza?" He questioned quietly, more to himself. He kneels down close to the man, staring him in the eyes. "What did this to you?" His voice was quick and to the point. He looked back and saw a few of his men heading down the boardwalk to find a place to reach over and begin heading over to them. He had only brought three of his men. Not his best, but they were adequate. This was just supposed to be a night where he ate and learned more about what has been going on since he left. Who knew such a troublesome event could befall him. |

« Fret not, Citizens of Niwa Night! For it is I! Doctor…. Wade “Jeeeeeeesus Haaaaands” Ackington!” This man seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, screaming his introduction near the large man and the hurt man. Wade heard the screams as he was tending to someone in an apartment. It was like music to his ears. Someone was hurt. Someone needed to witness his magic hands. Even in his drunken state he recognized it. Why do so many of his patients thank him with booze? This short man wore dirty doctor`s coat, a stethoscope around his neck, and some crummy clothes underneath the clothes. He looked homeless, and didn’t smell as bad as he looked. He spoke and addressed the uninjured man. “Don`t worry. Nobody dies while I`m around. Grant me a few minutes, and he`ll be as good as new” Wade approached the injured man and knelt down opposite to the other uninjured man. “Hey there… Calm down. Everything will be alright. Just show me the wound, and I`ll make the pain vanish” Wade said in a surly, yet soothing voice to the injured man. |

The man squirmed incessantly, causing more blood to spew from his lower abdomen, causing him to groan even louder. He was already in shock, and his words were incoherent. Everything was a blur to him, a primal rush of adrenaline even keeping the man from being able to communicate. "Help me. Please! Help.. help... help... help me... I don't wanna die! I didn't do nothin' to her! Police! Momma... help me!" Even though two strangers had come to his side, with another few already heading their way to his location, the man could not comprehend. He was so stricken with fear, so wrought with pain, that he was the equivalent of a mindless vegetable. He looked down to his chest, removing his hand from his wound. The thick dark blood oozed out slowly, causing the man to head into a deeper panic. His eyes gestured that he had come to his senses despite the stressful conditions, and his free hand quickly reached into his breast pocket of his torn shirt and pulled out a gun. His eyes were wide awake, full of terror. "Kill her! Kill her! Kill her!" He turned his body to face the darkness of the wooden pier. Following along the trail of his footsteps, the bleeding man's source revealed that there was a lone figure crouched just outside of the darkness. A small figure, short and skinny, yet moving in a way that seemed..... inhumane. ![]() Her eyes glowed a dazzling gold and silver, cutting through the darkness from which she emerged from. Her figure was petite and almost malnourished, and she was dressed in what seemed to be a high school uniform from one of Niwa's many schools. Her face was beautiful, but she was covered in dirt and grime. Her hands... covered in the man's blood. She was crying. Then she made a mad dash, running on all fours like a gorilla at an alarming speed toward the group. The bleeding man let out a warcry and pulled the trigger of his pistol. The loud snaps of his pistol burst into the airwaves, heightened by his fear. His accuracy was no good, as the girl was moving in such an unpredictable fashion. She was closing in fast... closing in soon. |

This man appeared and scream some inane shit. He listened though and stepped back a bit. The guy seemed to be a doctor, perhaps he could help the man. He seemed startled when he pulled a gun, yet screamed something about 'her'. He turns his gaze back where he came from, sniffing the air for anything unique and then caught sight of her. She looked so odd. He reaches and begins to slide the katana out. He saw how she dashed forward. He moved to meet her halfway. The coat sliding off of him as he adjusted himself, falling to the ground as he dashed across the sand. He was faster without the coat which it seemed he would have to be. Drawing the katana, he slashed it upwards across where she was running and spins the katana in his hand, turning it back around before slicing down almost as fast. |

« Listen to me. Calm down. I`m here to help. I`m a professional. You can trust me” Wade said in his soothing voice, but this man was clearly distraught. Wade could tell it wasn`t just shock from the wound, it was something that caused it. Maybe his assailant was still nearby, and Wade`s thoughts were confirmed when te man looked back at something and took out a gun and started shooting at what looked to be a girl. Wade slapped the gun away from the man`s hand as the other man got in the way. It waas bad enough someone was injured, but to kee “Calm yourself!” Wade said sternly, trying to force him back on his back with one hand over his chest, while his other catered to his wound. His hand light up as it felt his bruised flesh. “Do you see the light? You`re going to be fine. Your friend there will keep the mean lady from getting close, alright. Just calm down, while I heal you up.” Wade looked at the wound, it looked kind of like a stab wound? It was cut open. It shouldn’t take too long, and for now Wade was just trying to get the man to calm down, hopefully his senses will come back once the wound is closed up. |

Wade's actions managed to stun the man psychologically. He was in too much of a panic to focus, and the light gave him something to confide in, even if it were just an intangible object. Soothing in ways that would make the man want to cry... and he did. "Please... I don't wanna die. Please." he wept, shaking his head while letting his tears mix with his sweat. "She just, she just attacked me out of nowhere..." His voice was getting calmer, and his body was no longer as pale as it was earlier. His mental state was getting better, but there was still something tugging at him from the back of his mind. This something kept reminding him of the fear he felt for this girl. An intense mental pain that surely would result in a few extra white hairs down the line--if he made it that far. "You don't understand, man! I fucking got her back!" He was struggling to stay calm, and watched as the other man sped up to meet the girl halfway. "I fucking gutted her right there, and she's just running like nothing happened!" . . . In an unpredictable manner, the girl abruptly took a side-step away from the sharp end of this new stranger's blade. It was a swift motion that even surprised the girl, but her agile body went in to press on again, only to see the man lowering his blade from above. His steel clashed with the edge of a blade--hers. It was a simple dagger-like weapon. A knife. It looked no different than any normal kitchen knife. However, the loud CLANG that caused sparks to fly off her blade made it clear that there was something more to the knife. It was durable, and it was sharp. The downward slash caused the girl to take a step back, pushing off the sand beneath her. She landed on her feet, with her free arm serving as the final leg of her tripod stance. She did not breathe heavily, nor did she have a face of anger or frustration. It was the same emotion on her face as it had always been: grief. The white-haired girl howled out a deathly scream, aiming to ward off this interloper. This was none of his business, and yet he interfered. Like a mad dog, the girl then changed her immediate priority to the man with the long blade. She sprinted towards him at an alarming speed, slashing her blade about in a reckless manner, aiming to cut him in any way. |

"Tch." Takashi was disappointed that she dodged and then parried so effortlessly. He put most of his strength behind that downward slash and she just shrugged it off. It wouldn't be long before his men arrived, yet this close to the boardwalk, he wouldn't want a scene to be had. He enjoyed the food there. Without the heavy coat, he was much quicker than a person should be. His sword rang out with every blow as it met her own, blow for blow, he was deflecting her attacks. His weapon wasn't designed for extreme close range like she kept attempting. She had him at a disadvantage with her weapon and speed. The only outcome he could see behind this would be wolfing out, but even then that left him open to attacks from this insane dagger of hers. He decided to try something risky. He deflected one of her blows and then let go of the katana. He adjusted his grip and grabbed it so the blade would run parallel to his arm, like a tonfa without the added handle. He grips the pommel tightly and brings it up with as much power behind it as he could muster. The result was her slipping past his defense, yet his blade came tearing towards the girl. She'd either have to go for the hit or be sliced clean in half. |

“Hey, you won`t die. I`m here. I`m the best Niwa Nights has to offer when it comes to medical aid. Don`t worry, you`re in the best hands possible” Wade said trying to sooth the man. He was coming back to; no doubt his panic was mostly psychological then physical. There was progress, and his wound was shitting itself, but Wade couldn`t keep his hands away just yet. He listened to the man. It didn`t really matter. Wade was not one to judge, it wasn`t his place. “There, calm down. You`ll be fine, just… look at the light. You feel it don’t you? The pain is diminishing. Just a few more moments and you`ll be entirely rehabilitated, and you`ll be able to run without your guts spilling out. I think that news is fantastic, so perk up.” Wade said trying to ease the mood. The man was clearly bothered by the girl, and the way she fought with the much bigger man seemed to justify his fear in Wade`s mind. Wade turned to look at the ghost. She was kind of cute, and looked sad. Was hurting this man her vengeance? The scream she made was a powerful one that rattled something deep inside his heart. He shook the feeling away. No time to be emotional when a patient needed him. The wound was nearly closed, just a few more moments, and the man should be able to hold himself up without anything spilling. “Nearly there, tell me what happened” He said casually. |

It wasn't the pain. It was something else. Fear. The man watched as his wounds healed, and more and more color returned to his drained figure. But despite his improving health, the fear was still there. It was a strange sensation. The man knew that he was getting better, but still could not grab hold of that sense of hope that this mere stranger who was healing him was trying to promise him. He was skeptical, but slowly believing it. Even his hysteria was fading. Things were looking up. . . . The man's blows were full of force and intensity. Each swing of his sword met with the girl's knife and threw her back. However, she kept coming back for more. Each blow that he parried, she returned. Untiring. Unwavering. Determined. It was clear that she was not a masterful swordsman like her opponent, but her nimble body matched his blows with agility at the least. Her voice howled, much louder than before. As soon as the man shifted his blade and held it in a difference stance, the woman took on the bait and darted straight at him. She moved without hesitation, unphased by the knowledge that landing a blow on the man would cause her body severe damage. As she closed the gap between the two, getting close enough for her own blade, the girl was struck cleanly by Takashi's blade. Her left arm had been thrown to the side, and she felt the bone beneath her skin grind against the rough rapture of the cold steel. It tore through her left arm, and dug into her left abdomen. It tore into her, breaking bones and cutting organs. However, due to the addition of her arm being tossed into the mix, Takashi's blade was unable to sweep cleanly through the girl's body. Her weight hung lifelessly at the tip of his blade, lodged deep within her midsection. Yet... There was no scream. No howling of pain. No blood. It all seemed so hollow. Her eyes. They were still alive. They were still weeping as they were before, fixated now at the face of the man who struck her. Still alive, the girl staggered deeper down towards the hilt of the man's blade, her stub of a left arm trying to hold the blade within her. Her head dipped slowly closer to Takashi's face, her golden eyes peering into his soul. Her right arm raised over her head and her knife pointed at the man. She swiftly brought her blade down towards him. |
