| They said this was a city for our kind, they said it was a safe haven from the rest of the world. This was suppose to be the city where we where safe from regular humans. But, in a city where Meta-Humans run rampant, is there such thing as safety? When taking what you want is as simple as waving your hand, or closing your eyes, how can there be law? In this city, the truth is there is only one source of law, and that are the different criminal organizations that have formed all around us. The only order is that of the darkest part of humanity, of criminal organizations where the strong thrive while the weak gasp for air. This is Niwa Nights.. This is our home. Can you survive it? Name: Kiri "Gaki" Arashi Gang Affiliation: Cerberus. Faction III; Gluttony. Age: 20 Birth Date: 6/2 Occupation: Toy soldier :D Residence: Cerb Warehouse Physique: Green hair and alarmingly bright green eyes. She has perfect posture and is slender with a modest build. She is almost always wearing her goggles. Personality: She is clueless and clumsy, a stark contrast compared to the fierce tenacity shown when in combat. She has an overactive imagination and a passion for cooking desserts. She tends to be overly dependent on direction. She's sort of a space cadet and needs to be bossed around. Spoiler: click to toggle Personal History: There are many rumors about psychological warfare and missing meta-children with no viable evidence to prove any of it true. Seemingly normal people who snap and turn into violent killers, awakening a latent skill they didn't even know they possessed. Children that have mysterious abilities that just vanish in the middle of the night, spirited away. Not safely asleep in their beds, but pictures on milk cartons and posters plastered through town. The bodies of those children were never found. They were never presumed dead. Because they weren't. They were being harvested. Cultivated into weapons. The laws for meta-humans were vague when M-League was founded; there were no laws. Yes, it was illegal to abduct children. But they were never caught. They worked for no government agencies directly, but they "lended their resources" when the prices were right. They favored those with deep pockets. Nobody suspects a child to be a ruthless killer, capable of committing horrible, atrocious crimes. Ones that don't talk back. Malleable. Sterile facilities to bend and mold stolen meta-children to turn them into weapons to be sold off to the highest bidders. From a young age, these children are "programmed" to obey. Code words and actions specific to each child. Embedded so deep in their psyche it is ingrained permanently in them. It was immoral, of course, but this kind of power was highly sought after. Back alley deals were struck with several government organizations to enlist these resources to their own militia when they were properly trained. Gaki was one such case. She was snatched right out of her own backyard as a toddler, leaving her twin brother the last person to see her. Gaki was picked up by one particular crime organization as a body guard. The young heir to a large, wealthy family (linked to a notorious crime syndicate) needed a companion, and what better playmate than a deadly one sworn to protect him? Gaki obeyed. The boy's name was Shin and he was slightly older than Gaki. ----- (Stolen from Muto:) So Kojima set out to find his sister, and when he did he took her back with force. Kiri was assigned to protect the young heir of some old money family with her life. She followed these orders as only a programmed soldier could, and when he first tried to approach her she was despondent and unwilling to react to him. Koji immediately decided his only recourse was to separate her from her assignment. With that in mind he overwhelmed her defenses and killed the young man she was protecting. Using their telepathic link he divined the one word that would stop her from leaving him again. Then, taking his sister with him he sought refuge from the shadow organization. They found sanctuary with Nathan Drake, soon to be one of the founding members of Cerberus. Kojima found him, or he found Koji, through one of Drake's old Jedi contacts. The former Jedi offered the twins Cerberus' protection in exchange for their service. Gifts/Skills/Abilities/Powers: Gaki's ability manifests as "orbs" or voids between her hands that she uses to absorb energy. A small amount of energy is accumulated over time as she expends energy. A majority of this energy is accumulated in combat, absorbing energy from offensive attacks made against her. She can expel her own energy to charge up the orbs. The orbs in their passive state do little more than mildly shock anyone who touches it. Reflex mode- Gaki is able to manipulate the energy obtained from the orbs to heal anyone she touches with the orb. It requires a channeled concentration for it to be successful and she is able to mend most flesh wounds if given enough time and energy. She cannot restore missing limbs or terribly fatal injuries. Requires more energy to be efficient as healing is a more intensive process. Apex mode- Opposite to reflex mode, Gaki manipulates the energy outward to unleash electricity to harm enemies. The strength and duration of the attack depends directly on how much energy is gathered. Apex mode requires less energy to be efficient. Psychic link: Gaki is able to communicate with her twin through a psychic link. That's telekinesis, KYLE! One of the things that makes the twins work so well together is their secondary metahuman ability. While many people believe that twins have strange supernatural connections in Kiri and Kojima's case it's absolutely true. They posses a slight telepathic bond which allows them to detect one another at medium ranges and communicate at close range. If the bond weakens the farther they are apart, but will immediately reassert itself if they come within close proximity of one another. (Stolen from Muto) Spoiler: click to toggle **To measure the strength and quality of both modes, posting length will be used: 2 posts charge, Apex at 50% capacity, capable of shocking target, minor stun; Reflex 30% 3 posts charge, Apex at 70% capacity, capable of paralyzing the target if charge hits directly; Reflex 50% 4 posts charge, Apex at 90% capacity, capable of incapacitating the target if charge hits directly; Reflex 80% 5 posts charge, Apex at 100% capacity, capable of killing target if charge hits directly; Reflex 100% Items/Equipment: Ruger LCP. Spoiler: click to toggle Likes: Carrots, Carrot cake, sweets, her power-up gummies, bunnies. Dislikes: Salty food, people stealing her cake without asking, triangle face. Other Information: There are many triggers (both verbal and actions) that will set Gaki off. Mind your tongue. ;P Twinny Oath: "C-carrot?!" Posted Image Edited by Kitkat, Jun 10 2012, 07:09 PM.

| What's the difference between paralyzing and incapacitating? And I'm assuming this is temporary. |
