They said this was a city for our kind, they said it was a safe haven from the rest of the world. This was suppose to be the city where we where safe from regular humans. But, in a city where Meta-Humans run rampant, is there such thing as safety? When taking what you want is as simple as waving your hand, or closing your eyes, how can there be law? In this city, the truth is there is only one source of law, and that are the different criminal organizations that have formed all around us. The only order is that of the darkest part of humanity, of criminal organizations where the strong thrive while the weak gasp for air. This is Niwa Nights.. This is our home.

ALL CHANGES WILL BE MONITORED AND RECORDED The Oath of Respect I shall respect my fellow role player, regardless of whether or not I see him/her as a good person. I shall respect my administration, who have selflessly devoted their time and efforts to provide me with a fun and nurturing role playing environment. I shall respect myself, to be an active participant of the community, to conduct myself in a manner of which I do not belittle myself or others. I shall respect role playing, by not bastardizing the process with chatspeak, non-consensual godmoding, ignorance, and closed-mindedness. I shall respect zetaboards, who have graciously offered to house this wonderful forum, to abide by their rules and regulations by not posting illegal or pornographic. I shall respect the board, which serves as the platform to propel my drive for role playing, by making use of the tools provided such as the Time and Weather, Location, and the given Context. I shall respect MaKeNsHiZeRo , the creator of this board whom serves as the enforcer, the teacher, the student, and the fellow role player to all members. I shall respect all that is Niwa Nights and all shall respect me. Before continuing, if you do not plan on following any of these statements, I suggest you leave. MINOR RULES ...because I can't be vague about these... I have absolute power, as the admin of this board I reserve the right to do whatever I want in the best interest of the board (in my opinion). I will try my best to adhere to my own rules and not be a hypocrite and violate my own rules. Powers. Everyone may choose to have ONE and this rule applies to those that do. Please don't make your characters complete gods and goddesses with his/her powers. Nobody's perfect, so make sure your characters are the same as well. Place limits on your character's powers and maybe have him/her start off somewhere on the beginner--intermediate level with his/her power. It would not be fun if someone ran around town with the ability to completely level city blocks without breaking so much as a sweat. Do not claim to be a part of a gang if your character is not part of that gang. NOBODY LIKES A POSER. Cursing is allowed. I was thinking otherwise until I realized what kind of board I intended on running... and also because I got completely cursed out by a twelve-year-old on Call of Duty last night. One account per person. That means nobody else should have access to it. Five characters per person. Want more? Kill em off! (but daddy, don't you love me?) No babysitting characters. So you're leaving for a week? Don't give your character to someone else to use. Do not post in other people's profiles. You will be banned for 24 hours if you post in a profile that was not started by yourself. The only people who are able to reply in a char registration topic are obviously the one who started the thread and the administrators/moderators (gang leaders). Don't fret too much about gun physics! We know they're deadly and they're nearly fatal but let's take the action movie approach. One bullet to the chest or side shouldn't kill a character instantly, but remember that your characters are not invincible, which leads us to the next rule. No Character Is Invincible. This should be obvious. If you don't want your character to die, don't submit that character. Think about it. This is a RP about the underworld, where death is commonplace. By submitting a character profile, you compromise the immortality of your character. People die in this RPBoard, that's why you're allowed more than one character.. Guns are limited. This is a very open ended thing here. Do understand that guns are illegal. I understand people owning higher-end weapons and all, but don't walk around in broad daylight with a machine gun unless you're looking for trouble. Characters are allowed weapons, but are only limited to conventional weapons and generally small arms. That means pistols, shotguns, swords, whatever; are allowed. That means lasers, explosives, bazookas, ridiculously absurd sci-fi weapons, swords that devour the souls of its victims, and the like are NOT ALLOWED. The only exception to this rule is if the character's power is invested in that weapon. Your input matters. When I post things in the News/Announcements asking for comments and questions, I mean it. Let me know how you honestly think and I will take it into consideration. If you want your own location, you will have to speak to me privately through PM, AIM, MSN, Email, whatever. Locations are given out on a case-to-case basis and most added locations must serve a purpose--whether it be to provide a service to the players ICly or to enhance the ambiance of Niwa City.
