Nintendo Community Rules & Guidelines To access these forums there is a set of rules that you must AT ALL TIME follow. • No posting inappropriate pictures • No using unnecessarily harsh language • No bullying or flaming other users • No gang activity is allowed • No advertizing • No account sharing • No encouraging others to break the rules • No staff impersonation • No use of forums for transportation of controlled substances Flaming There is a difference between flaming and constructive criticism, and not all people have the same idea of that difference. The general difference is the intent. Flaming is intended to annoy/hurt the reciever, while Constructive Criticism is intended to help out the reciever. Know the difference. Don't flame. Advertising You may not advertise anywhere except your signature. Any posts or PMs with advertising can be reported using the report button and will be checked by staff. Double Posting Double Posting is not allowed. This is not a chatroom. People can't respond instantly. If you have something to add, you must use the edit button. Double Posting cannot be used to bump a topic. Bumping Old Topics Topics older than 40 days are not to be posted in. You can ofcourse create a new one. If you see it happen, hit the report button so we know. Inappropriate Language Do not use profane language at NCF. We have a filter in place to stop these words. Anything that is not filtered is allowed. You are not allowed to bypass the filter by using special characters. Other Questions Refer to the NCF FAQ to see if your question is already answered. If not, post in the forum help. Inactive Members If you are inactive for a long period of time, your account may be deleted by an automatic process known as 'pruning'. You can create a new account, but remember to be active. What Happens When I Don't Follow The Rules? A number of things could happen, depending on the severity and if you have broken rules before. You may be warned, suspended, banned, have your account deleted, and even IP banned. This is at the staff's discretion and all decisions are final. Any Questions? Please PM or Contact an Admin or Other Staff Member of Nintendo Communty... Thanks -Connor & The Rest of the Nintendo Community Staff Team -Last Updated: May, 26th, 2009 by: Connor |
