They let me pick, did I ever tell you that? Choose whichever spartan I wanted... PSYCHE! Sorry, the Halo nerd in me had to. Orbiting over the Planet Akela were several massive orbital space docks, designed with the sole purpose of defending and regulating travel to and from Akela. These stations were literally some of the largest ever built, and together, could support an entire planet's population. The Jacala Space Dock was one of the busiest of these stations, considering it's location orbiting directly over the capital city, Jacala. Inside the station people were bustling around in controlled pandemonium, trying to find a place to eat or to get to the registration desks. Others still were scrambling to and from the space gates to shuttles, and ships bound to places far far away. Today in particular was one of the busiest travel days, and security was scrambling to make sure everything kept running smoothly. Several large ships were approaching the docking station, each loaded with massive amounts of people and supplies bound for Akela. "This is Earth Fleet 7, destination Jacala Space Dock, Launch Code 3726, Requesting permission to dock!" "Fleet 7, this is command, clearance to dock granted for 7 ships. You're in the clear!" The fleet slowly approached the docking station, and began unloading the travelers within. |

Alex stood on one of the docking decks staring out of the window looking down at Jacala. He was lost in his own mind, thinking about all of the work he has done on the planet before him. "There is still so much to do" he said quietly to himself as he retrieved his comlink from his belt. As Alex raised the device to his face to send a message to those on the surface, he received a choppy signal from the general flight channel. "Fleet 7...*static*...Dock...*static*...in the clear" Alex rolled his eyes at the fact that yet another com relay had been damaged. No doubt by some rocks or an asteroid floating by. A problem like that is not a major thing to fix, just a pain in the ass. "Sounds like they shinies are about to dock, I guess I should go greet them; or at least introduce them to Woodrow. I may be a higher rank then them, but I'm not their commander. That's Dicks job" Alex thought to himself as he decided to turn and begin heading to wards the docking platforms. |

"I heard that you bastard." Woodrow set stepping off of the ship. "Just remember you don't outrank everyone on this station. I've gone to hell and back for this planet and I won't take any garbage from a little shit like you!" He said with a chuckle, before extending out his arm for a handshake. It'd probably been years since Alex had seen him, though for to Woodrow it would feel like only a few weeks. He'd been in cryo for the journey to and from Earth from Akela. "How've you been since I've been away? Any major issues down below, aside from the usual issues between the races? I hope I won't be shooting shit once I hit the surface!" Woodrow asked, only half joking. He knew how shaky things was between the races. |

Alex's face lit up as he saw the soldier step off his ship. "Rich!" The engineer was more than glad to see his friend again, and quickly shook his hand. "Me? Still have no life. The planet? Well lets just say its been in better shape. Alot of the specieism is settling, but every district is still segregated. The forest, however, is as strong as ever. Hell just yesterday we dropped 40 gallons of napalm on a section of wall, and it hardly hurt the overgrowth. Oh, I almost forgot." Alex reached into his jacket and pulled out a small device; then extended it to Woodrow. "She's been waiting for you. There are some new additions, but I'm sure she'd be more than happy to explain. Its good to have you back in the world of the living dude." |

"Man I tell ya, I've been off to more wars and battles than I care to remember since that war here with the Ganos, and It's not been easy out there. But nothing was worse than them out there. Not having her made it harder, but I figure if anyone could make her better than she already was, it was you. Thanks for this!" He said, before popping Emily back into his suit. "Hello sir! It's good to be back! All systems have been upgraded. We're currently ready to interface with any and all electronic systems within Akela and beyond. I've also been upgraded to better manage and maintain your armor's systems. There are even more perks that I'll only mention if the need arises. Also of note, if I'm every removed from the armor without your permission I will immediately cease to exist to prevent information from falling into the wrong hands." Emily said in her feminine S.I. voice. "Glad to have you back Emily, we're going to be very busy when we hit the surface!" Woodrow thanked his friend, and turned to head towards his personal spacecraft, which was waiting for him in the hangar of the station. "I'll leave the introductions to you, I'm not one for socializing with the new civies. When you're ready to head down to Jacala, meet me at my craft. It's been prepared to work in atmo as well, these government folks are giving me just about anything I could need given my new position." He then walked out of the room headed towards the hangar bay of the station. |

"Why is it I knew you were going to put me in charge of the shinies." Alex lightly punched Woodrow in the arm "I'll meet you at the cantina later. First rounds on me." When Rich nodded in return, Alex hooked a left and headed for the docking platform. |
