Netbattle v. 1.0.51 Glitches

* Multi-Target De-Boost Glitch
On NBS:
Moves that Target both opponents have their power reduced by half ( x0.5 Multiplier) while move that Target three pokemon on the field don't have their power reduced at all.

In-Game:
All Multi-Target Moves have their power reduced to three fourths of the original (x0.75 Multiplier).

* Protect Glitch
NBS:
When all other pokemon are switched out from the battle except the user of Protect, it fails regardless of the Counters it may have from previous usages of Protect/Detect/Endure in a row by the same pokemon.

In-game:
When all other pokemon are switched out from the battle, Protect can still work depending on the Counters it may have from previous usages of Protect/Detect/Endure in a row by the same pokemon

* Intimidate Ability Glitch
On NBS:
Intimidate activates as soon as the Pokemon with the Ability is sent out. So if the Pokemon is sent out before one or both of the Opponent's Pokemon hits the field, then the ability won't work or only target one pokemon.

In-game:
Intimidate activates once all pokemon have hit the field but before the turn starts.

* Sucker Punch Glitch
On NBS:
If the Target of Sucker Punch uses a Damaging Attack that will fail or predetermined to miss once the Turn initiates (This appears to be another glitch on NBS as well) , Sucker Punch will Fail. If the target of Sucker Punch uses a Multi-Target move , whether it targets the Three other pokemon on the field or just both of the opponents, if one of them is immune to the attack or not present, Sucker Punch will fail.

In-Game:
Regardless of whether the Target's Attack Move Fails or Misses, Sucker Punch will work reagardless.

* Life Orb Recoil Glitch
On NBS:
Life Orb takes 10% for Every Pokemon you Damage with an Attack Move, so you take 20% or 30% when using Wide Range Moves such as Surf, Earthquake, Heatwave, etc.

In-Game: Life Orb only takes 10% regardless of whether your move targets a single pokemon or more.

* Sitrus Berry Glitch
On NBS:
Sitrus Activates at the End of the Turn that a pokemon has reached health at or below 50% of their Total Health. It only restores 30 HP Points

In-Game:
The moment the Sitrus Holder reaches 50% or lower percantage of their total health, Sitrus Activates. It restores 25% of their Total Health.

* Endeavour/Chilian Berry V2 Glitch
On NBS:
When Endeavour is used on a Pokemon holding the Chilian Berry, the Normal Resist Berry, it will use up the berry and subtract the HP from the user on the target and half it.

In-Game: The Chilian Berry does not active, Endeavour changes the health of the target to that of the of the user.

* Reflect and Light Screen Glitch
On NBS:
Once set up, Reflect and Light Screen reduce the Damage received from Physical and Special Attacks respectively by half (x 0.5 Multiplier) in Double Battles.

In-game:
Once set up, Reflect and Light Screen reduce the Damage received from Physical and Special Attacks respectively by One Third (x 0.33 Multiplier) in Double Battles. In Singles it's by Half ( x 0.5 Multiplier)

* Tailwind Glitch
On NBS:
Tailwind Lasts 5 Turns

In-game:
Tailwind Lasts 2 Turns

* Volt Absorb/Motor Drive Glitch
On NBS:
If a Pokemon uses an Electric Self-Targeting Move and they have the Ability Volt Absorb or Motor Drive, it will activate the ability, thus stopping the move from activating.

In-Game:
If a Pokemon uses an Electric Self-Targeting Move and they have the Ability Volt Absorb or Motor Drive , the game will bypass that call and allow the move to work succesfully.

* Assist Glitch
On NBS:
Assists uses a random move from a random Pokémon in the user's team besides itself.

In-Game:
Assists uses any random move from a random Pokémon in the user's team besides itself except for any of the following:
"
•Assist
•Chatter
•Copycat
•Counter
•Covet
•Destiny Bond
•Detect
•Endure
•Feint
•Focus Punch
•Follow Me
•Helping Hand
•Me First
•Metronome
•Mimic
•Mirror Coat
•Mirror Move
•Protect
•Sketch
•Sleep Talk
•Snatch
•Struggle
•Switcheroo
•Thief
•Trick
"

* Klutz Ability Glitch
On NBS:
The Ability Klutz doesn't allow the user to hold any items.

In-Game:
The Ability Klutz Negates the effects of the items the user may be holding.

Yeah, we move the Glitches we find that have been fixed into the section that applies to which version they were found, I just forgot to add the one that lists the glitches that still plauge the Sim.

Posting to say that these glitches were tested in the latest version(1.0.52), and were not fixed. Hopefully the programmers will fix them as soon as they are able. :)

another one I found was that when a Pokemon holding Custap Berry, and then they die, the Custap berry still remains in the background of the battle and activates next turn, even though the Pokemon has fainted.

Also I believe Struggle is still on ADV and not the updated Pt mechanics, but I can't confirm this as I have not tested it myself. All the others I have tested though.

Most of these have been fixed. We are currently taking care of a few less-important ones, such as the All-Switch-Out-Protect glitch.

Excellent, great work! Glad to see most things are working properly, you guys have done a great job with the updates. Upon battling some more, we have found a few more glitches that involve double battles, but they should mostly be easy fixes. I'll link to the movedex pages on Smogon when applicable to make things easier for you when you are fixing the errors.

All of these were based off 1.1.0 battles.

1: Weather priority. In a double battle, once all four pokemon have been sent out, the fastest pokemon's weather should activate first, then the second slowest, etc. So, the slowest pokemon's weather is eventually the one that takes effect starting the turn.

2: Protect. In Platinum and HGSS, Thunder won't break through Protect during Rain Dance and Blizzard won't break through in Hail at all. In D/P it did with a 30% chance, but that was fixed in the release of Platinum and HGSS. Same thing goes for any moves used by a pokemon with the ability No Guard. http://www.smogon.com/dp/moves/protect

3: Griseous Orb and Giratina's Base Stats. Griseous Orb raises the base power of Giratina-Origin's Ghost and Dragon moves by 20%. It currently doesn't raise it at all. http://www.smogon.com/dp/items/griseous_orb

Ingame, Giratina base stats are what is switched when it becomes Giratina-O, not the actual stat as in NBS. http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/5042/giratina1.jpg http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/3563/giratina2.jpg As you can see, just the Defense stat of 172 was switched with Attack. Ingame it is the base stat that is switched.

4: In DPPt and HG/SS, Encore should last 4-8 turns. On NBS, it can last only 2 turns or up to 8 turns. http://www.smogon.com/dp/moves/encore

5: When two Wobbuffets face off, Wobbuffet(but only the Wobbuffet) can switch out of the opposing Shadow Tag. http://www.smogon.com/dp/abilities/shadow_tag

6: Struggle Instead of doing half of the damage as recoil to the user, it should do 25% of the max HP of the user. http://www.smogon.com/dp/moves/struggle

7: Tailwind It should last 3 turns and not 5, as said in the move description in the MoveDex. http://www.smogon.com/dp/moves/tailwind

Thank you for fixing these and future glitches(which hopefully there won't be any!)!
