Just to get you started, in case you can't make up your mind.
If you'd like to play one of these characters, feel free to change the name, play-by, or anything else you like - but please post a reply here, when you decide to use some (or all) of a suggested character concept. (A short notice like "Would like to use A's background, but with XYZ as play-by and the name will be "abc"", is sufficient.)
The images presented below are free to be used as avatars on this site, but if you want to use one, please just grab it and put it somewhere you can link to that is not run by me and use that for your avatar, so it doesn't use my bandwidth.
David Jensen - Senior Agent, Team Leader (PB: Sylvester Stallone)
David began his career as a Navy MP and has contacts all over the Navy base from his old days, but mostly among the enlisted men. Dave is relentless, direct, and can come across as blunt and even tactless. He's often at loggerheads with the director - not because they often disagree, but because they are both quite similar in their bluntness.
Irene McDermot - Senior Agent, Team Leader (PB: Natasha Henstridge)
Irene joined NCIS right after law school and has been station in Europe for a while. She is intelligent, a team player, and completely new to being a team leader. her style of leadership is cooperative, but Irene is quite capable of standing up for her opinion if she believes she has good reason to do so. Speaks several European languages at least a little and has some contacts in the intelligence community.
Mike Takada - Field Agent, Investigator (PB: Andy Lau)
Mike was a cop in San Diego, before the investigation into the murder of a sailor brought him and NCIS together. He's a quiet, patient man, who likes to look closely at what he sees and isn't satisfied with an investigation until he has all the pieces of a puzzle assembled. Finds it easy to relate to people and would make a decent profiler.
Penelope 'Penny' Smith - Field Agent, Investigator (PB: Famke Jansen)
Penny is a former FBI agent, and one of the few team members who knows politics inside out - and knows how to play that game. She was engaged to a journalist in Washington, but when her fiance turned what she told him - in private- into a story for his newspaper she had no choice but to leave the FBI, to save the agency the embarresment. Moving to the west coast was her own choice, as was joining NCIS. Penny is still viewed with some suspicion by her former colleagues in the FBI.
Taylor O'Brian - Field Agent, Fighter (PB: Ashley Scott)
Taylor is a "Navy brat" who grew up with three older brothers while constantly moving from place to place. Her father is now an admiral, working at the Pentagon. Taylor has a serious chip on her shoulder, but only because she wants to prove to everyone that her career is her own to make, and not something she owns to her father's rank and position.
Charles Julius Konrad - Field Agent, Fighter (PB: Nicolas Cage)
Charles is a former Navy aviator with training as a Forward Air Controler, i.e. he knows how to fly a jet, and he knows how to get close enough to an enemy position to direct a precision air strike against a target. An encounter with lung cancer (now thought pretty much cured) got him out of this job and looking for a new career after a tour in Iraq. He is still finding his way into investigative work, but when it comes to facing down an enemy, Charles is as cool as a cucumber.
Gregory ("GG" or Greg) Grayson - Field Agent, Rookie (PB: Seann William Scott)
Greg figured that NCIS would be a nice way to pad his CV, before he went into private security - which is where he thought the real money was. But after going through basic training and learning a bit about law enforcement, he's not so sure any more, wondering if this job might actually be worth doing, even if the money isn't that great. Uncertain if he wants to make a career in NCIS or not.
Thomas Mallory - Field Agent, Marine (PB: Wesley Snipes)
Thomas was a Sergeant in the Marine Corps, before he suffered an injury in Iraq. Now he walks with a slight limp and has several pieces of metal in his left leg. He knows everything there is to know about every weapon system used by the navy - and then some. Crackshot with a pistol. Determined, but patient.
Ashley Solomon - Special Agent, Computer Expert (PB: Charisma Carpenter)
Ashley joined NCIS right after her graduation from MIT, but why is everyone's guess, given that she had a great career in the private sector ahead of her. What Ashley doesn't talk about is that her mother was raped, then killed, by a marine who has gone AWOL. She acts nice and sociable, but what she is really after is revenge, and NCIS is the place where she can put her skills to good use to get just that. The director knows her background - and suspects her motives - but keeps his mouth shut, as long as she does her job to his satisfaction.
Cody Banks - Special Agent, Computer Expert (PB: Kenneth Branagh)
Cody was a geek before the term was invented, or at least before it gained widespread currency. He claims he has been involved in the invention of Windows, Google, and pretty much the whole internet. What is certain is that he was always into computers and hacking - not always on the side of the law. After being arrested for his hacking he switched sides and became a consultant on computer security. Outwardly Cody is a typically lazy bachelor, but inside his ill-shaven head lies a sharp mind.
