Since none of you seemed to like Game Informer’s editor’s picks for the 300 Greatest Video Games of All Time, here is Game Informer’s reader’s choice for the 300 Greatest Video Games of All Time.

I think the Readers Choice list is far, far better than the Editors, but the whole point of these lists is to rile the fans because they'll never possibly please everyone, or even a majority.

Nice to see Time Splitters 2 getting a nod. That game was unbelievable. It seemed to contain more data than possible for a game of its period.

Mario and the 7 Golden Coins on the Game Boy was another favorite of mine.

Most of the games I’m talking about are more than 20 years old. The last video game I got hooked on was the Nazi Zombies mini game but you really need a partner for that one and my kids finally got sick of playing it with me.

Although with my new TV I’ve been wanting to pick up a new game or two to see what they look like in 4K. Maybe UFC 3 or Street Fighter 5.

Witcher 3 as the readers choice. Lol.

I'm not sure which list is worse.

TimeSplitters 2 was awesome. TimeSplitters: Future Perfect was even better.

Lists this huge just aren't feasible. Depending on your age and really what you played growing up is going to greatly alter your choice. Should just break it down by console and for PC by decade or something. But the fact the Warcraft games (not WoW) aren't on the list is a huge example. Also no Quake?? ROFL.

Any list past like 20-25 just becomes a jumbled mess.

There was a level in Time Splitters set in an abandoned military base. It's snowing outside and when you get to a certain point an alarm goes off and you're suddenly under attack by zombies. I swear to god it was the scariest level of any video game I've ever played.

Lists are just for fun, to get some debate going. Lighten up RPD. Between this and the Ronda Rousey WWE thread in the MMA forum I'm beginning to fear for your health.

Well that's my input, huge mass lists are lame. Also even lamer when they are 300 in size and don't include games like anything from the Warcraft RTS or Quake.

I'm pretty sure Quake was in there.
