Well, my son and I both loved this film. I’m not sure how it will play with a general audience (it’s a specific type of humor), but it killed in the little, art house theater we were in. It feels more like a Christopher Guest or Taika Waititi film than a traditional American style comedy. I thought the lack of Russian (or Russian accents) was going to kill the movie for me, but it actually added a level of comedy that wouldn’t have existed otherwise. Rupert Friend (Homeland’s Quinn) steals this fucking movie BTW!
