http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/judas-priest-on-dave-holland-his-time-with-us-was-amongst-the-most-productive-and-successful-in-the-bands-career/ The disgraced former drummer was their best IMO. |

He was their best, straightforward, hard and no flash. To bad he tried to fuck a kid. |

He wasn't remarkable, but he played on some legendary albums. To bad he tried to fuck a retarded kid. Sad news anyway. |

Most of the bands I grew up with have had members or former members die. Kiss Twisted Sister Iron Maiden Def Leppard Judas Priest Metallica Manowar Of the bands I counted as my absolute favourites growing up I think only Accept so far has had no casualties. It's very sad. The death that I personally felt the most was Steve Clarke in Def Leppard. |

I liked some of the early stuff but never was a huge fan. So are they all a bunch of homos ? After reading about Holland it gives a whole new meaning to Point of Entry and Ram It Down

His drumming was perfect for the Priest sound especially on the albums British Steel and Point of Entry. |

Great drummer for Priest. He always maintained his innocence on the charges he was convicted of, and considering how many have been wrongly convicted in this kind of case, I won't pass judgement either way. |

The triumvirate of British Steel, Point of Entry and Screaming for Vengence were always fun to jam along to on guitar. Much like the early ACDC albums, great guitar albums to play along guitar to. |

In high school I had a friend that was the drummer in a punk band and he was obsessed with British Steel. He literally taught himself to play every drum, bass and guitar part on the album. For me, British Steel is the perfect heavy metal album. |
