Aronofski's new flick with Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem. Lawrence has been promoting the movie heavily. Aronofski responded to the F rating saying its challenging, blah blah blah. I read the spoiler and have NO desire to see this insanity.

Not my thing, but the F rating that some random idiots gave it certainly has nothing to do with my decision.

It's that Cinemascore website that polls mouthbreathers after they watch movies.

Granted, critics have seemed to enjoy it far more than audiences, but there are plenty of bad reviews out there for this. The most common complaint is that it's ultra artsy, ultra metaphorical, but that no one can really tell what it's trying to allude to. So it all just comes out as loud noise.

F ratings on cinemascore are extremely rare, so this must be an extraordinary turd.

I read the wikipedia summary and this movie sounds so weird.

I like Javier Bardem, Jennifer Lawrence and horror flicks, so I'll pick it up on Bluray when it comes out. Reviews don't mean a whole lot to me since some of my favorite movies were panned at one point or another.

I don't think these films are really going to resonate with mainstream audiences. I think Aronofsky already got the same treatment with The Fountain when it came out, which was excellent.
