welcome back Onion, is your brother registered as Mingus or Cecil Peoples??

Glad my sig will finally get some use. You have just a few months left :)
He checks the board, but I don't think he signed up.

He's the one that told me about the "miss you onion" thread.

Fucking Onion, damn good to see you on here, sounds like you'll be back to work fairly soon, that's nice to hear.

Any pregnant quirks that are driving you fucking crazy yet, lol?
Nothing yet man, although she has eaten chicken a few times since getting pregnant (she's vegetarian).

Hopefully I don't jinx anything, but we are 6 months in, and it has really been a breeze so far for her.
Other than her being a lil self-conscious about gaining the weight, she is as happy as she has ever been.
Only thing I find tough is not binging on junk food when she gets to, lol.
I can't begin to tell you how fortunate that is. My wife had rough pregnancies. The first one almost killed her Physically, and the 2nd really fucked her up hormonally/mentally. Glad to hear things are going well.
Wow, crazy shit
Yeah, she spent the last 3 months of her 1st pregnancy in the hospital. Had several severe bleeding episodes resulting in multiple blood transfusions, etc. Birth was premature and our son was born with a lot of physical and mental issues.

2nd pregnancy was smooth sailing on then physical side and our daughter is perfectly healthy, but she had/has had multiple nervous breakdowns, depression, etc. My daughter just turned 2 and my wife has very few left over issues, but she still has to be on meds to help balance her out

That sucks man.

You're making me feel better about my wife's pregnancies.

If I remember correctly, you are involved in purchasing or something like that, right Onion?

Sorry about the layoff. It's a shitty bump in the road, but that's all it is. Temporary pain.

Interesting times for the Canadian economy though. The mighty West is preparing for tough times with oil prices as low as they are. Hard to say how long that will be sustained, but the upside according to some economists is a lower Canadian dollar (which we have already been seeing) and that's beneficial to manufacturing and Central Canada.

Well, there's your economic babble for today!

Glad to have your input in these threads again, man.
Yeah, sort of.

I work in procurement, negotiating blanket contracts.

As for oil prices, I love it for my gas tank, but it effects future western projects, which would effect most engineering companies (my industry).
