They're taking my gallbladder out, stones included.
Nothing to it. You are kind of young for that though. That's for c bears and fat people
He has spoken.

You don't need the surgery.

I had been having these unbearable pain episodes on occasion that were lasting several hours.

Yeah that's why I got checked out and how they found my stones. I didn't know I could be in that much pain out of nowhere.

I'm just worried I'll be waking up with a missing kidney or a giant set of tits lol ;/
If that's the case - give me a call.

Seriously - of all the things to fear in surgery - a doctor stealing your kidney or giving you a $5000 boob job probably is the VERY VERY VERY least of your worries

I get unbearable pains in my gut randomly, but it hasn't happened in months at this point. Wonder if I should get it checked out....
Nah. I'm sure you'll be fine.

 YES. Of course you should get it checked out.

Where is the pain usually focused? Gallbladder is typically upper abdominal, right below the chest bone. If the attacks are seemingly random, severe and long lasting, you should definitely get it looked at in short order (You should either way). My gallbladder attacks, especially at the end, were probably the worst pain I've felt, and I've been in some rough pain. My mother is going to have her's out soon. She's not getting any of the pains with her stones, but it's causing her to be ill frequently.

he isn't in the normal category for gall bladder problems, unless he has crohn's or something. it's not typical for him to have it.

You heard it here.

Ignore your doctor who has gone through the effort of diagnosing you and recommending surgery.

He's obviously a hack.

Who would you trust? An MD you've seen in person and been to their office - or a guy on the internet who has performed more surgeries than anyone in the world and was also Black Ops in Mogadishu?

Before you answer - ask yourself this. How many times has YOUR doctor skydived into the middle of the South American rainforest to take out drug cartels and save hostages?

That's what I thought.

Seeing as you know about this stuff, Nate, why can't they be blasted out like kidney stones? Why do I have to have the whole gallbladder removed?
