Any of you guys had surgery before? I've never had any or gone under anaesthesia before but I'm due to go in tomorrow morning before 8am. I'm somewhat shitting myself because apparently I'm a massive pussy. |

As a tranny he might just be confused as to what to expect post-op. Enlighten us all Dr. Nate as Chief of Staff at your local Urgent Care clinic you must have performed this surgery thousands of times in the dark. |

Glad this has nothing to do with your balls, Jay. Thousands of surgeries are performed successfully every day. Only a small fraction of them result in serious complications, and those usually aren't for routine procedures like gall bladders and stones. We'll see you back here later this week. Keep an eye open for hot nurses! |

there are exceptions but statistically if you look it up you'll see that the elderly and the morbidly obese are the primary candidates |

I've gone through a double hernia repair. The Dr warned me that a "single" repair recovery is a Class 1 Bitch. A "double" repair...he made it perfectly clear... I would, in the short term, regret/suicide. I chose a double. And he was right. The first week-to-10-days of recovery, at home, was very, very, unpleasant. I spent that week telling myself what a fucking fool I was for doing it. Fuck, oh gawd, I'm an idiot, how did this happen, what was I thinking, jebus just fucking kill me now... those type of thoughts, followed by Get me my Oxy you heartless bitch! After a month I was 90% good. A year later I was 99.9% good. I can still tell, every now and again, every so slightly, I can tell I was cut up & patched up. 2 years down the road I don't regret it, I'm better off, by far, for having it done. Bonus footage: Part of the decision to get the hernia(s) repaired had to do with sex. Once, when the wife was on top, and she commented on something...I didn't tell her this, but she noticed my lower intestinal tract bulging out of my groin. That's was the clue it was time to do something. Even before that I was experiencing occasional post work-out pain where some phantom icepick stabbed me in groin. That was also a clue too. Now I bang out the wife and get through work-outs pain-free. Edited by just brian, Nov 24 2014, 08:55 AM.

I had my Gallbladder removed about a year ago. Surgery was a breeze. Extremely easy recovery, very little and manageable pain, and I was back to work after only missing a day or 2 since I had the weekend to recover. Mine was full of stones, and when I spoke to the doc post op, he said gangrene had set in in parts and it was about to rupture. I had been having these unbearable pain episodes on occasion that were lasting several hours. They are no more. You'll be glad it's gone |

Yeah that's why I got checked out and how they found my stones. I didn't know I could be in that much pain out of nowhere. I'm just worried I'll be waking up with a missing kidney or a giant set of tits lol ;/ |

you'll be fine little jay. the worst part of it all is waking up and you're thirsty as fuck and they still won't give u any water to drink for a few more hours. also, the smell of the anesthetics is almost vomit inducing. those 2 are the only bad things. don't worry, your young ass won't wake up right in the middle of surgery. lol |
