Invoke the fine American tradition of Litigation! If Crazy Mc Bitch wants to bring the law into it, I say go ahead, hire a lawyer, and find out what options you can exercise based on the situation to date. In serious terms, contact a lawyer and have a talk about this situation. If things may get stupid, getting a lawyer early may be the better choice. I really like the Go Pro advice. I'm not sure I'd drop that kind of money just for this situation, but if you already have one or plan on buying one in the future, it's a great idea. You can protect yourself from future nonsense claims (and seeing as how dumb she is to claim a dog bite- as if nobody will every actually ask to see the wound- there's a good chance that she'll make absurd claims again in the future). Plus, there's a good chance she'll give you ammo to use for a future legal offensive, if it comes to that. Edited by Wahoo08, Nov 13 2014, 06:21 PM.

http://www.shouselaw.com/false-report-crime.html Penal Code 148.5 PC makes it a misdemeanor to make a false report of a crime to the police or other authorities. As a misdemeanor, a person convicted faces up to six months in county jail. Also, offer her your penal code as a small peace offering. Edited by DriveThru, Nov 13 2014, 06:34 PM.

BDW, try to not get yourself too upset about the whole matter. Sounds like she might be part of a volatile relationship and you're just on the receiving end of her compromised emotional state. Maybe try to pick up some kind of gift basket or baked goods, walk over to the house when you know she's home, and then burn that motherfucker down. |

Same thing happening near me. My neighborhood is old mansions. They're being converted to apartments and rented out to section 8. Shame. Really nice old homes. 6 and 7 bedrooms with servant quarters are now shitholes |
