Are you voting tomorrow? If so, for who/what and why. |

No, because my boss told me today that she needs me to drive to freaking Baltimore tomorrow and I plan on being stuck in gridlock traffic as the polls close. None of the races in my precinct are particularly competitive though, so it's not something that I'm too distraught about. |

No, because voting is pointless. Especially in most states where the ballots are predetermined (not fixed - but, for example, in California - the democratic backed measures and people campaigning are a shoe-in for the vast majority of anything up for vote). To top it off - it doesn't matter who is in office or what is voted on. It all ends up the same anyway. Nothing my vote does tomorrow means anything - so yeah. And to anyone who says "Oh fuckyou, our soldiers are dying for your right to vote!" - they're also dying for my right to "not vote". Also, I'd argue that they're dying for freedoms that no longer really exist in this country - but that's another topic altogether. |

Graham reelected. Mitch Mcconnell defeats Alison Grimes. With how quickly they called it, it sounds like a massacre. Pathetic. Grimes was such a bad candidate. |

It'll be interesting to see the margins there. |

The Florida governor's race had some allegedy tomfoolery already with Broward county. Florida is a banana republic. Would be great to see Scott lose there. |

Gillespie a former Bush operative and all around scumbag is in a tight race. I wonder if his win would help pave the way for a Jeb Bush presidential run. |

Charlie Crist strikes me as the worst of the Dems. It's almost like he's a Republican wolf in sheep's clothing.

Its interesting you mention that as its been in the news lately. The thought being that Dems would claim the state is trending their way if they lost by 12% or less. The last numbers I saw for Gov and Lt Gov was Reps up 56-41%. That's early and will have to wait for the final numbers to hash it out. |

Big loss for the democrats vaunted Colorado ground game. Part of the path to the presidency in 2016 that they're counting on is Colorado. The republican win puts that into question. |

According to msn main page Dems are falling to reps in House and Senate. They blame dissatisfaction with Obama. |

Its starting to look like the "Bush Effect" where the party was nailed over people pissed at the Pres. Now its the "Obama Effect" with Dems dropping left and right. I really don't think there was some uber turnout of Rep voters but it was a lot of traditional Dems turning away from that party. Edited by Cbear, Nov 4 2014, 11:27 PM.
