How much is your cellphone bill a month??

(All prices are Canadian)

I have a Windows phone, (a Nokia 520) which I own outright, and I use a pay as you go plan for which I drop about $100 every 6 to 8 months.

I also maintain a Vonage voip 'Land Line' for about $23 a month.

Most cell phone plans seem designed to have you bend over and take it hard up the ass, between inflating the cost of what you would pay for a cell phone.

You could get an iPhone 5+ from Rogers for $1,079.00 and get a month to month plan at $35 a month. That will total out to $1919 over 2 years.

Or you could instead pay $594.99 to buy into a 2 year contract and get an $80 a month plan, for the low total price of $2514.99!

END COMMUNICATION

I pay $175 a month for 2 phones with unlimited everything. I am off contract with Verizon but cant make any changes (besides buying phones outright) or I will lose my unlimited data. I pay $9.95 a month for a pathetic 13Mbps down .9Mbps up for internet.

That's actually an amazingly good price for Internet provided they're not giving you a low amount of bandwidth. I'd trade my service for that speed and price point in a heartbeat if they were giving me at least 250 GB's a month.

But can your cellphone put you in touch with that Russian submarine in your harbor?

:)

I wouldn't even consider giving up my unlimited data to save $10 a month.

Unlimited data is the key, it's not really common place over here, only 2 or the 6 or 7 providers offer it
