So crazy story developing in bc right now http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/trinity-western-grad-attacked-for-being-christian-in-job-rejection-1.2791323 This story hit a couple days ago. Basically this girl gradded from Trinity Western University, a religious university thats been getting flak lately for making their students take a pledge that denounces homosexuality and non marital relationships. So she applies to this wilderness expedition company, Amaruk thats apparently some subsidiary of larger norweigan based corporation, to be a guide in Canada. So they rebuff her and in their rebuff, they include a whole paragraph on why Twest is bad and how they don't like Christianity because of their norse roots. This turns into a back and forth which gets pretty ugly. You can read it all here, but the highlights are the supposed vikings saying they would fuck jesus/god if they met him, men are better off with men than women and all men who marry bc women are emasculating themselves in doing so. https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/1310195-copy-paste-of-all-amaruk-emails-in-chronological.html So this gets a bunch of traction in the news because Twest is a very well off institution with plenty of lawyers to take this thing to court as a human rights case (which they will win easily if it ever gets to court). Well it turns out, these crazy vikings might not even exist and this might just be one of the most epic troll jobs ever. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/amaruk-wilderness-questions-raised-about-company-at-centre-of-anti-christian-attack-1.2794452 The photo's they have up of some of their "executives" are taken from other places around the net, the hercules they say they have to operate is really just a pic taken from some new york based military unit, no one can actually get in touch with anyone from the company, guides from the yukon have never heard of them and other women are coming forward now having been turned down from jobs/creeped out when the emails started asking sexual questions/getting really angry. Anyways, interesting story to watch. If this does turn out to all be the work of one dude from Whistler, this could be a truly epic troll job. Edited by cheeto101, Oct 10 2014, 03:14 AM.

This is weird and interesting. Doesn't look like it could be a troll job because of the scope of the company (websites, phone numbers, etc.) and having a "company lawyer" offering no comment. My guess is that it's probably just some small time wannabe company that fabricates it services. Would make sense that some guy or group of guys that like to act all special are the same that would send out these crazy emails.
