Who has really pissed you off? Who has gone above and beyond? I'm on hold with Sears right now. Ordered a winter jacket on Sept. 14. Still hasn't been delivered. I called before I went on vacation to the U.S. The female rep couldn't even tell me if it had been shipped from the warehouse. So I'm calling again because there's still no sign of it. Got a male customer service rep this time. He initially tells me the computer indicates delivery by Dec. 31, 2049! What a joke. Then he puts me on hold and comes back on the line saying there's been a "glitch" in the system and he can reorder the jacket for me. I ask him when I can expect it to be delivered. He says he can't tell me. So I told him to forget it and make sure if my credit card was charged for the initial order to have it reversed. Done with Sears. On the other hand, when my wife and I were in Vegas, we went to The Olive Garden for dinner one night. The place was packed. We ordered our meals and bruschetta as an appetizer. It took a while for the bruschetta to arrive but we didn't complain because it was so busy. Regardless, a manager came to our table and told us he wouldn't charge us for it because it had taken too long. Totally unexpected. We left the difference on top of the tip. I would like to make purchases from Amazon.com but in Canada we're stuck with Amazon.ca Not only are the price about 20-30 per cent higher but a lot of the brand names available on the American site are not on offer to Canadian customers. It's B.S. |

I have read that Amazon can be a nightmarishly bad place to work, and some of their business partners are not happy with them (ie, book publishers having disputes over e-book pricing). However, the fundamental strategy of Amazon is 'we should totally fuck over everyone of our business partners and suppliers as long as it results in a more positive customer experience'. If I ever find the article I am thinking of, I will link it here. END COMMUNICATION |

My current ISP is atrocious. When I have an issue I just have to ride it out because I know if I phone them I'm going to get Mr/Miss Apu and I won't be able to understand a fucking word they say. |

Apple is the best customer service via phone at least by miles I was away on business and I dropped my macbook. Computer was fine physically but it would not turn on correctly and I badly needed the files by the next night. I called them the very night I dropped it and they scheduled a DHL pickup right at the place I was staying. It literally arrived like at least 2 hours after my call. I was trying to figure out what I would do to get my files somehow sent to me or anything. Apple fixed it that night and had the computer sent to me the very next day via ups and I was fine. I will forever be grateful to Apple for that day and it was easily the best customer service of all time. Worst service of all time is probably Best Buy or Microsoft, I could go on for days with horrible stories dealing with them |

Mediacom Cable/internet is the worst fucking company to deal with. I'd agree with Amazon being incredibly easy. For the potheads out there, there is a company called Ploom that makes the PAX vape. Incredible service and warranty. |

Amazon is easy because there customer service is a bunch of indians programmed to just look at your billing history and say okay, we will send you another item free of charge, extend your prime membership, offer you a one time credit of however much money, refund you or offer you an exchange. If you have a bad history, theyll simply tell you that they cant do anything for you. Dealing with amazon is easy because you just go to live chat and can do whatever waiting for your answer. You get some indian though who says Hello, I am Rahagfhwekaishanbar, how may I help you today?? you get helped and are done, they are programmed to only help I believe Edited by best80smovierad, Oct 9 2014, 03:04 PM.

I used to love Best Buy because it was incredibly easy to return items. When I was in college, if I ever needed any sort computer/cable lines, memory cards, etc. and I wasn't sure exactly which one I needed, I'd go to Best Buy and buy pretty much all of them and then return all the items I didn't work. It was a bit of a dick move, but it was just too easy to return unwanted items. Nobody cared if they were opened or why you wanted to return the items. Not sure if this was great service or just low paid employees that didn't give a shit, but it worked for me. Granted, I never had any real issues at Best Buy that I needed resolved, so I can't really speak to that end. |

Regarding Amazon: http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2013-01-08/amazons-jeff-bezos-doesnt-care-about-profit-margins http://uniglobalunion.org/news/amazon-ceo-jeff-bezos-voted-worst-boss-planet Essentially, the only people that like Amazon are the customers. Employees hate the guy because he is a relentlessly brutal employer. Shareholders are sometimes frustrated because Amazon operates at as thin a profit margin as possible. |

best buy used to be great at least near me but its gotten to the point now that they just hire morons. One time was checking out computers for my father and I would ask a question, the guy would just literally read the card in front of us that has the price tag to answer me when what I needed to know was not on the card. I think amazon has just killed them to the point that I really dont see their physical stores being around much longer. Best buy is going to transition to online only soon enough in my opinion |

I would love to say that I will stop using amazon because of how they treat their employees but unfortunately they are far too convenient especially having an amazon prime account. |
