I dont mind him sometimes, my problem is that hes such a kiss ass to his guests. I like Kimmel and Letterman because they make fun of their guests a bit and arent afraid of them. Fallon just plays up to them like he's best friends with them. I assume part of it is him still building to get to that point. |

I agree. Timberlake has natural comedic talent and is the best part of any of the skits he's done with Fallon. |

Last week I saw Fallon interview Taylor Swift and it was embarrassingly bad. First he did this utterly retarded skit called "Ew" with her, then during the interview practically creamed himself trying to plug her new album. The guy comes off as a complete phony. I don't know if armed guards are holding guns to the audience's heads during taping but he might as well have a laugh track as they laugh at every stupid thing he does. Fallon's opening monologue also sucked. Carson was unquestionably the best at Late Night and whenever I saw Leno he was funny but Fallon flat out sucks. Edited by Wolfie, Aug 16 2014, 11:04 AM.

I love Fallon... His 'go-to' is his natural charisma. You either gravitate to it, or you dont. As far as talent goes, his improv' skills are solid via SNL experience. & hell get out there & do showbiz type dances & what not = Very talented IMO |

Yeah, others have said it but it's true. The guy has charisma and is charming. He's interesting in front of the camera. Plus he's boring enough that his charisma never lead to anything subversive (like Craig ferguson who I think is the funniest mother fucker to ever do late night). Jimmy is lame and is totally fine being lame. He's a like able youth pastor. There is a nativity there that reads well with middle America. It sounds like I'm belittling Fallon, which I don't mean to, I'm just not a huge fan. I recognize what he's good at and give props to it. I actually think being likable is the most important skill set a Human can own. Pretty much everything boils down to it. Jimmy is the epitome that |

I find him very hit or miss. Sometimes he's great, other times he's borderline unwatchable. Team Coco #1 though. |

Improv skills? The funniest thing about Fallon in SNL was that he couldn't keep a straight face. The guy was awful. |

Carson and Leno were also likable. The difference between them and Fallon is that they were funny and Fallon is not. The great Late Night hosts were also believable. I mean does anyone really believe Fallon is beside himself excited about Taylor Swift performing at the MTV Music Awards or that he can barely contain himself because she's got a new album coming out? It's cringing to watch. Edited by Wolfie, Aug 17 2014, 01:10 PM.

I saw a part of his opening monologue a few weeks ago and it was embarrassingly bad. The Brian Williams rap songs are great though. |

Carson was the master, early Letterman was hysterical, Leno was barely watchable maybe once a week. Fallon is horrible, it should've been him hanging around instead of Robin Williams. |

You see, I don't like Jimmy Fallon. I don't hate the guy, but I usually find that he annoys me. I can't put a finger on why that is, but he does. However, I agree with BDW here. There are many people that are way less talented Jimmy Fallon in Hollywood...and some may be even more popular and making more money than he is! I can't just muster enough "care" to hate on Jimmy Fallon. He's midly annoying at worst, and irrelevant to me, at best. Additionally, those late night shows are relics of the past. A lot of newer, edgier podcasts are superceding the products of late night shows. I rather watch Greg Fitzsimmons, Bill Burr, and Joey Diaz. Edited by HugeMMAFan, Aug 17 2014, 10:57 PM.
