Here's my story and hope you like it! Rate it from 1-10. It's not finished, but pretty well into it.

Sandra ran through the windy forest, breathing in the crispy cool air. “Hey, Lucky, isn’t this great?” She asked her Dalmatian puppy. Lucky barked and nodded, running with her to the big mansion that was Lilith Zale’s house. “Well, hello, Sandra! Now isn’t that a cute puppy! What’d you get it for?” Asked her best friend. Sandra smiled. “Well, I got it for being a straight ‘A’ student!” She jumped up and down and screamed with her best friend. Lilith smiled and said, “BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP!” Sandra cupped her hand around her ear as Lilith repeated, “BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP!” Sandra covered her ears and groaned. “Stop…”
“BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP!”
Sandra Baylor wearily lifted her head and looked at her beeping alarm clock. “Darn! I forgot to turn it off last night…wait, it’s not Saturday. It’s MONDAY!” She screamed the last word and rushed out of bed. Her clock read 7:47PM and school started at 8:00. Sandra didn’t have time for a shower…not even a face wash. She ran a wet washcloth over her greasy face and then wiped her face with a dry towel. Sandra pulled on some clothes and ran down the stairs. She grabbed an apple, a NutriGram bar, and a juice box and left the house. “Bye, mom! Bye, dad! Love ya! See ya! BYE!” She yelled to her still-sleeping parents. Sandra made it just in time for the bus stop when she realized she never combed her hair, brushed her teeth, or even got shoes on. She sighed as the people on the bus started to laugh. She gave them all dirty looks, but that made them laugh harder. Sandra groaned again and went to her spot at the middle of the bus.
Sandra sat next to a kid named Jaclyn Nordic, whose personality was one to clash with Sandra’s shyness. So, as you might have already figured out, Sandra’s best friend was this Jaclyn kid. Sandra’s stop was the second-to-last stop to school. Jaclyn’s stop was last, and he always looked good because he had the time to get ready. As he came up onto the bus, all of the girls on the bus sighed with adoration, but Sandra just rolled her eyes. As he walked up to the spot where he sat, next to Sandra, all of the girls gave her dirty looks. Sandra just had to grin because she had the fortune of being friends with people in high places. As Jaclyn sat down, he looked Sandra up and down. “Sandra…what happened to you? If you’re going to be my friend, you shook look nicer,” He joked. Sandra playfully punched him. “All right, let’s not get cocky, mister ‘I’m so good-looking,’” Sandra said to Jaclyn. Jaclyn smiled widely. “Don’t worry, my head is no bigger than yours,” He replied. Sandra never knew what that meant, even as children. The bus came to a stop and Sandra stood up, tripping over the next seat. Jaclyn grabbed her sides and pulled her back over. “You all right?” He asked her, his eyes bright with alarm. Sandra nodded. “I’m fine, Jaclyn, thanks,” she replied, smiling while the other girls gasped with shock and jealousy. Sandra got off the bus and walked into school, ignoring all of the talking behind her as she and Jaclyn walked into homeroom.
Sandra sat in her own seat, which was next to a kid named Lilith Zale. Lilith, like Jaclyn, was her best friend because of their opposite personalities. “Sandra, I’m so happy! Guess what?” Sandra sat and looked at Lilith. “What, Lilith?” She asked, sighing. Lilith said the same thing every morning, and every day it was as stupid as the day before. “I’m having my sweet 14!!” Lilith cried, bringing her hands together in a clap. Sandra sighed. “Sweet 15? Don’t you mean Sweet 16?” She questioned. Lilith shook her head.”No, silly! Sweet 15! I can’t wait! My mom’s letting me throw this big bash! And it’ll be better than last year!” She sighed and happily clapped her hands. Sandra smiled weakly. These words, except for the ‘Sweet 15’ part were part of Lilith’s birthday ‘speech.’ She always had a big bash, because her parents were filthy rich. Lilith’s mom was drop-dead gorgeous because she was a model. Lilith followed in those footsteps, at least the beauty part. Her father was a professional baseball player for the New York Yankees. Or at least he was, but they still pay him for making reappearances at games. Sandra had to laugh at Lilith’s happiness every year. She always seemed surprised that she would get a big bash, even though it happened for her every year since kindergarten.
Sandra and Lilith didn’t have much time to talk because their teacher, Mr. Kestrel, was at his desk and ready to start the lesson. “Good morning, boys and girls!” He exclaimed, raising his left hand to wave to his class. A few happy campers waved back and then giggled, starting to break into laughter. “All right. Enough with the nonsense! Let’s get on with the lesson today, molecular bonding!” He exclaimed. The class groaned, waiting for class to end. Any class Mr. Kestrel taught was a snore-fest to even the brightest of learners. He really knew how to put you to sleep. Sandra’s eyelids slowly closed as Mr. Kestrel’s rambling turned into blahblahblah…
The forest returned to Sandra’s mind. Sandra walked around with Lucky, the Dalmatian puppy. But in this daydream, Lucky was a full-grown dog. Sandra was a young woman with two kids running around her, a girl and a boy. “Taylor! Tyler! Stop it!” Sandra laughed as the twins splashed each other with water. A rustle from the bushes directed the attention of the matter. “Darling!” Sandra said, standing up and hugging…Jaclyn?! Sandra hugged him and kissed him, despite the ‘gross’ and ‘yuck’ that came from the twins. “I didn’t think you’d come home so soon, Jackie,” She said, hugging him tight. Jaclyn smiled and brushed his hands through her golden hair. “I told you I’d be back for the twin’s birthday on Saturday. And now I’m back for good,” He replied, accepting hugs from the twins. Sandra let a tear fall from her face in happiness. “That’s wonderful, honey,” She said, laughing at her childishness. Jaclyn opened his mouth and Sandra heard, “SANDRA! SANDRA WAKE UP! SANDRAAAA!”
Sandra opened her eyes to see Mr. Kestrel tapping his ruler on her desk. “I’m up!” She said, flailing her arms around like an octopus. Kids laughed, pointed, and made fun of Sandra. Sandra turned to Lilith and said, “Did I say anything from my daydream?” She asked, getting worried. Lilith nodded, trying not to laugh. “Yah, we all heard stuff like ‘Taylor, Tyler! Stop it!’ and ‘Darling!’ and ‘I didn’t think you’d come home so soon, Jackie.’ I think we all know who that is,” Lilith said, nudging Sandra. Sandra narrowed her eyes and got angry. “I don’t like Jaclyn like that if that’s what you’re thinking!” She whispered. Lilith shook her head with confusion. “No, not him, silly. He’s our friend!” She laughed and blushed as Jaclyn turned back to give Sandra a sympathizing look. Sandra sighed, whacking her head off of the desk. Lilith continued, “You’re thinking of Jake Tyler, I just know it. Go tell him how ya feel, girl!” She exclaimed, pushing Sandra towards the brown-haired, green-eyed, tall, dark, and handsome 14 year-old.
Mr. Kestrel had left a while ago to get some coffee and an ice pack. Jake saw Sandra come over and smiled weakly. “Oh, hey Sandra heard about your dream. So who’s ‘Jackie?’” He asked, blushing a little bit. Truth was, Jake was crushing on Sandra ever since the first grade. “Um, can’t really say,” Sandra muttered. She really knew it was Jaclyn, but why? She didn’t like him that way…and things would be…er…different. Sandra shifted in her seat and flushed red as she thought about her daydream in more depth. “Um, Jake, can I talk to you later? Maybe sit by me at lunch?” She asked, batting her eyelashes flirtatiously. Jake nodded, blushing and his heart-racing. “Sure thing, Sandra! Any time!” He said. As Sandra left, he pumped his fist under his desk, happy to make a ‘date’ with his dream-girl. Sandra rolled her eyes and said to Lilith, “He wants me.” She laughed as Mr. Kestrel came in again.
“All right. Now if we are done with the sleeping, let’s get back to the elements. Which one is first?” Mr. Kestrel asked the clueless class. Shrugs and mumbles were the answer, and Mr. Kestrel sighed. “How about I have my science club president answer my question?” He turned to Jaclyn, who was the best at science. Jaclyn replied, “Hydrogen.” Mr. Kestrel clapped for his prize student and gave him a homework pass. “Wonderful calculating, Mr. Nordic. Now time for…” Mr. Kestrel was cut off by the lunch bell. “Well, I guess you’re off to lunch. Stay safe, now!” Mr. Kestrel said, watching the students leave his class.
Sandra grabbed a tray and went into the food line. The white-board read, “Pizza: Pepperoni-Anchovies-Extra Cheese-Sauce Only-Steak & Cheese-Hawaiian”
Sandra grabbed a piece of plain. Even though it wasn’t listed, it was always a given. She took a fruit punch bottle and a cupcake for dessert. She walked around, trying to find a table, when she heard a, “Sandra! Over here!” She turned her head to see Jake at the jocks’ table. Sandra sighed. She had forgotten about her lunch ‘date’ with the hopeless romantic. She walked over and plastered a smile on her face to make him think she was happy to be with him. “Hey, Jackie!” She said, putting on the act again. Jake blushed and his friends whooped and cheered. Sandra rolled her eyes and sat down next to Jake. Jake starting talking about his recent win at Friday night’s football game. Sandra would nod and say, “Cool!” at random times. But, her eyes were focused on the table beyond theirs. Jaclyn and Lilith were sitting at their own table, bored as heck. Sandra could almost hear them say, “If only Sandra were here. Then we’d have a better lunch period.” Or, at least Jaclyn would say that. Lilith would be saying something like, “See how cute they are? I did a good job.” Sandra rolled her eyes, but at the wrong time in Jake’s story. “What’s wrong with you, Sandra? At first you said ‘cool’ when I told you about me knocking someone’s teeth out. Then, you rolled your eyes when I said we won the game! What’s your problem?” He asked, concern overwhelming his usually happy face. Sandra stuttered, “U-Uh…well, I was trying to make you laugh! You know, ha-ha, ha-ha?” She tried. Jake and his friends paused for a moment and then cracked up laughing. “Sandra, you’re too much! I can’t believe this!” Trent Marino, one of Jake’s friends, remarked, slapping her on her back. Sandra smiled and blushed, a bit confused as to why all of Jake’s friends were being nice to her. She wasn’t usually popular, but Lilith and Jaclyn seemed to have her covered when it came to popularity. Sandra stood up and said, “Well, it’s been fun, Jake. And you too, guys,” She said to the football team. They smiled and watched as she left for Lilith and Jaclyn’s table. “Why aren’t you guys sitting with the populars like you usually do?” Sandra asked, sitting down. Lilith and Jaclyn laughed. “Well, we knew you would come back. It didn’t look like you were having too much fun back there, so we figured you would come around soon enough,” Jaclyn said, putting an arm around Sandra. Sandra laughed. “Well, it wasn’t like sitting with you guys,” She said, putting her arms around her friends. They walked towards the doors and laughed all the way to homeroom.
