Professor Destiny's First Year Charms Class; First Years ONLY

Charms Teacher, Destiny Posts: 13 Group: Admins Member #3 Joined: Jul 15, 2008 How do you like the site? It's drop-dead gorgeous!	--"Clip! Clip! Clip!"-- The doors swung open as if possessed by a ghost, it was a simple charm spell the professor was going to teach that day! She was tall and blond, she undid her royal blue scarf and snapped her fingers. A coat rack appeared by her desk and the scarf flew over and hung itself. The room was empty. "Perfect!" she smiled. "Time for some redecorating!" she snapped her fingers once more and all the desks appeared, her royal blue notebooks appeared on her desk and a dozen chalk boards appeared around the room! "I'm one hour early, time for the lesson plan!" Professor Destiny was her name and this was her first year in Hogwarts! Her last job was at a private witch school in Ireland so she was practically unreal! She swished her delicate fingers and wrote a long time line of the history of charms. professor Destiny stepped back to admire her work but then erased it quickly! This was Charms not History! Taking her time, Professor Destiny wrote two words on the board: Wingardium Leviosa..... she wrote the pronunciation under it and smiled. the classes first lesson was a levitation spell. but first they would have to have some test subjects! "Golden Bubble Charm!" she cried and swished the wand she had in her leather pouch. A unicorn hair and Yew, nice and swishy for ten inches, good in charms. Golden and Silver Bubbles began to form on the tip of her wand. "Wingardium Leviosa!" she cried next and sent the bubbles spiraling above her. "Yes!" she laughed. "Yes!"

''Hello, Professor Destiny!'' She said curtsying. She sat down in the front row and neatly piled her books on her desk. She tried to look as neat and as proper as she could without looking like a geek. That was the last thing she wanted to be. Mayla sweetly asked, ''Professor Destiny, what are we learning today?'' She looked at the board and saw those two magical words. Wingardium Leviosa... Mayla whispered the words as if they were natural to her lips. She closed her eyes and imagined her book flying through the air like an owl. ''Oh, it's so magical!'' She breathed and opened her eyes. Of course, her book had not left her desk. ''Hm.'' She said, waving her phoenix feather oak wand. ''WINGARDIUM LEVIOSA!'' She said. Her book flew into the air, but only for a split second. ''Professor Destiny! Lo--'' But her book had already landed on her desk. ''Oh cripes.'' She muttered and folded her arms together in a huff. ooc; ^^ She'll be fun to play.

A crying sound outside the door and Professor Destiny stood up as straight as a ruler. Her fine wand poised to fire at the next person to come in. Blasting sounds and cries, papers slid under the door, the gorgeous teacher strutted down the isle to the door. She was ready to cast when a girl scrambled into the room, her eyes red from crying and her uniform sleeves torn so they hung at her wrists. The blond girl was an obvious first year; she cautiously looked up at Professor Destiny. "What happened?" the teacher bent and scooped up the papers to help the poor girl. "Opal, which is your name, right?" The girl called 'Opal' nodded timidly and took her notes from her teacher with a weak smile. "Some third years cornered me and one thought it was funny to blow my stuff up into the air with a levitation charm. Then I tried to run but one of his friends pulled me down and I tore my sleeves..." she said quietly and smiled weakly once more. "When they saw another teacher coming they bolted and I rushed in here!" Professor Destiny smiled. "Its okay, I can fix your uniform too!" she swished her wand and in an instant the sleeves reattached itself and Opals uniform was straightened. The professor even added a small pin on her vest, a wand with bubbles flicking from it in the colors silver and blue. The pin was a destiny protection Charm! Not only did it give good luck but protection as well. "Go ahead and take a seat!" she said and waved her arm toward Maya. Opal took a seat up front next to another girl, she looked like a premadonna. "Hello, my name is Opal! But you probably already knew that from what just happened...." she smiled and fixed her books on her desk. Each notebook was properly placed and her notes/pens were on top, ready to go! Shyly she tucked a long strand of blond hair behind her ear; it bothered her now that Professor Destiny had helped her. Edited by Destiny, Jul 20 2008, 10:31 PM.

They think they're so cool...but just wait until we can do that to little kids! Won't that be fun?'' Mayla laughed, but then it soon ended. She never got laughed at, ever, and never got bullied so far. Maybe it's because her mom was really high positioned in the Ministry of Magic...

I cant wait to learn all sorts of spells...." she eyed the board and the two words on them: Wingardium Leviosa... "Wow!" she whispered. Professor strode to the front of the class of two, swishing her wand and making the bubbles float everywhere. "Wingardium Leviosa..." she kept saying and swishing her wand. "fly, fly fly....."

Did you ever go into the library? I heard from my friend, Jakson Carver in his fourth year, that you can self-learn yourself from it!'' Mayla's mischievous grin fell upon her gorgeous face, looking at Opal. ''So, after class I'm going to the library to catch up on some 'reading.' Do you want to tag along?'' Mayla asked. She looked up at Professor Destiny and grinned.

"Absolutely!" she smiled evilly. "I will join you!" the outcast, a banished witch was so happy to have a real friend. Her finger tips twiddled with her wand as she looked back to the board: "Wingardium Leviosa..." Opal's book took flight for about four inches and Opal kept concentrating on it. Moments passed and the book stayed. "Yes!" she cried happily and the book fell out of the air on to her desk. Opal scowled. Professor Destiny was watching, she was amazed at the books flight! She had seen Mayla's too but for some reason Opal's stayed up longer. Oh well! They would both learn eventually.
