Gaming & Gadget Reviews How Not To Write a Crappy Review If you like media then you generally read reviews on the stuff you like, to see if people like it as much as you do. This is a great way for people with similar tastes to meet up, and so on. If you think this is a neat idea, you won't want to be placed in a group where you can't see the board and all that fun stuff. The rules are pretty short and sweet, but they are necessary if you want to keep reading / writing Medium reviews. If you see a review of your favourite game (for example, Dukem Nukem), and they don't do a good enough job in your opinion. Don't go into their thread and start bashing the crap out of their review and saying how "I could do a much better job, your review sucked." No. Remember what your mother said when your little brother SpeedJammer got a little pink bike for his birthday, "If you don't have anything nice to say, try to say it in a way where they look stupid yet you don't look like the family jackass." If you feel special enough to re-write that review, then go right ahead. If we feel that it is better than the original review, we will replace it. However, if we feel that you need to bump the old review out of the way, then your review is god and you get some cake or something. If your review is rejected, we'll explain our reasoning, but if we accept it, go get in your crappy 1980 Subaru Wagon, speed to the dollar store, and pick up a plastic gold metal. |
