| Mall of the Dead is a multi-fandom crossover, probably-mostly-crack, zombie mall RPG. Zombies wander the floors of this two-story labyrinthine nightmare of a shopping center, and anyone unfortunate enough to be randomly pulled in must take shelter in one of the thankfully-zombie-free stores. Of course, one is free to kill zombies too, but it seems that no matter how many of the living dead are turned into the merely dead, their numbers never seem to dwindle. Join the adventure! |

I have made a slight change in the rules on what happens when characters come to the mall. They not only become human but loose any weapons they are carrying. Any roleplay posts previous to this that included carried arms of any kind are excused from this rule but from this point on this rule will apply. |

So are you saying we're Grandfather'd out, or we just don't have to go back and edit our posts to remove the weapons but we're going to pretend they were always gone? ...:3 |

I read it and get "If you had a weapon before the change, you can keep it. Otherwise, find one." Correct me if I'm wrong though. EDIT: I'm probably wrong. Edited by Dimension-Traveler Calumon, Jan 9 2010, 04:40 AM.

Annyui got it right. The posts before the rule do not have to be edited but all posts afterwards will be treated like the weapons never existed. |

Okay, so the original idea then was to put everyone on an even playing field, right? That makes sense. Thanks for changing it now instead of waiting until someone comes in with X character and says "Oh, well my character always carries a nuclear reactor, chainsaw, and psychic helicopter in their trans-dimensional pockets!" So yeah I get getting rid of weapons and gadgets right off. Now... does this include things we find in the mall? Because I'm pretty sure there's gonna be essentially everything a person might need to Macgyver together new weapons, or even do the Gilligan's island Professor thing and build ridiculously impossible helicoptors of our own out of that bamboo display case in the Imports shop. ;D |

I'm good with that, I can see where it would throw it off if folks suddenly brought in a one-man-arsenal... though I suppose on the other hand that the end result would only be a huge pile of zombie-parts until the invisible zombie-generator filled the mall back up. *shrug* |
