| Mall of the Dead is a multi-fandom crossover, probably-mostly-crack, zombie mall RPG. Zombies wander the floors of this two-story labyrinthine nightmare of a shopping center, and anyone unfortunate enough to be randomly pulled in must take shelter in one of the thankfully-zombie-free stores. Of course, one is free to kill zombies too, but it seems that no matter how many of the living dead are turned into the merely dead, their numbers never seem to dwindle. Join the adventure! |

Unless the shoppers were all zombies too? I suppose they might be, after a while... "early bird special! Become a zombie in HALF the time!" lol... I'm assuming all other shoppers we see that are NOT other people playing are therefore from the mysterious unseen zombie-generator that keeps the mall occupied? |

Actually, I do like the idea of combining those two - like, having people (not like ghosts, more like NPCs or maybe Q from Star Trek) or even one "person" who looks like someone different every time, just show up/disappear with little explanation. That could be a fluke, or could it be a lead to how they all got there/who's behind it? Just speculating here. I do also like the idea of humorous "zombies going about regular shopping behavior" scenes. |

Arnold: Oh look! A sale at the Put-Ya-Foot shoe store! Helen: I would advise against going in there. There seem to be many zombies inside at this time. Arnold: Ah. Good point. All of the good ones will be gone by the time I get there. Those zombies seem to be quite the shoppers. I guess I will wait until later when they magically restock themselves. Maybe we can beat them to the greenlight special at the Hardy Hardwear store! |

If we ever find out a cure for zombification (and with the Doctor, Helen, and Tesla on board they are bound to find a cure), it would be funny if all of the zombies turned out to be characters who got dropped into the Mall earlier, but not only that -- really mockable characters that everyone could play like... I dunno... Darth Vader. PS: What happens when a Dalek gets sucked into the mall? You'd have this really useless person hanging out in the household appliances section and threatening to exterminate everyone with an egg-beater and a plunger... Would they be bald, short, and covered in bumps? |

Okay, I have an idea regarding our current situation in the mall. One question first, Zombies tend to catch on fire randomly, but how easily does it happen? As Takeru's outside the barrier, and not such a good climber, he could get something that's loud, say a lawn mower, from the hardware store and distract the zombies with it, either leading them away from the group, or- leading to the reason I asked my fire-related question- he could either rig the said Loud machine to explode, (Mostly out of his dumb luck building, since most things he builds explode anyways) And/Or he could find a flame thrower and use that. If this isn't a good idea, I'll just have Takeru not find anything of use. |

There's a bunch of kitchens nearby, too. How about one of those flames they use to make creme brulee? Dunno. I like the lawnmower idea, actually. If we can get the zombies mostly on one side of the wagon ring or the other, we can make a break for an exit of some sort. (I figure that while we may not be able to get out of the mall as a whole, any maintenance passages should be fair game, right?) |

What might be fun is if anyone goes out the doors or windows they find themselves in the food court again. It's like a loop. You can't get out by any normal means. Maybe the vents or something like that could lead out to where some evil villan is hiding it all. Or maybe they would just bring them back to the food court. Or maybe a different part of the mall. A blank nothingness before them would be creepy but awesome. |

Air-vents leading randomly elsewhere would be fun. Edited by Dimension-Traveler Calumon, Jan 14 2010, 12:42 AM.

Ooh! I am so there with the air vents plan! And how about we have the group (what is it now, about 9 people?) get somewhere temporarily safe and then decide on a group plan of action: As in, okay... what are our primary concerns? Let's talk about it. Now who's going to do what in figuring a way out? Break it down slightly so that the characters (not just us) have an idea of where this is going? ... I like the idea of a janitor's lounge/security area or something that people wouldn't normally see when they visit a mall. |

I like the idea of having them talk everything out. We should pick somewhere for them to escape to and do that, instead of doing silly introductions in the middle of the siege on their barricade :3 I'm all for them going to an employees-only area and the zombies just... not following for a while. Zombies obey the rules, too, you know. |
