As you may know, Last Ninja Online has died and been reborn many a time. As it stands, there hasn't been an LNO that has even come near being satisfactory for anyone. The Phoenix Project is aiming to be just that, an MMO that shines among all incarnations of the Last Ninja Online project. The staff has experience with 3D work and is aiming for something that will drive along side the storyline of Naruto: Shippuden, but not be completely connected with the story. As there are little ties to the Naruto line aside from the world, places, and some of the people in it, you will not interact with the main characters like Naruto, but you will hear rumors of what they've done and you will be the force behind the storyline. Being built on the CryEngine, we're aiming for the best visual, audio, and gameplay-centric Naruto ORPG to date. We're taking lower-end PCs in mind and consideration. Currently building in CryEngine 2 for our prototyping phase, and moving to CryEngine 3 in August when it's SDK is released, we're going for the most definite build of Last Ninja Online. We update often and show our work to the members on the forum. From prototype work to finished release. Even if you're not able to see it real time, as a member, you will be able to have a hand in development. As of right now, we're currently located at http://s4.zetaboards.com/LNO/index/ but shall be moving to our own website and forums soon. Please join us, and hopefully we'll see you soon. -Zarthius Kryos |
