I have a feeling that if I could read that, it'd be a lot funnier!

My favorite is that little guy with the circle for a head!

The second one is an essay about someone special to you. The first one... I was hungry, and if you could read Japanese, you'd really take notice.

Yea, your drawings look epic.. You should, if you want to, create a anime/manga comic and put it on comicgenesis.com My older bro's friend has a comic on there dangerchair.comicgen.com And it is pretty good.

When I was... holy crap, 7 I think. Didn't last long, I liked to fight too much. Didn't have the patience for the various forms and such.

So I returned to it a year ago. Now I'm placing first in America for forms, weapons, and fighting.

Wow you make me want to start again, I am really happy for you, first in America is a really big thing!!
I also started doing TKD at an early age, 6 I believe, it only lasted a few weeks for me, that was my dad's best friend's academy.. Then I joined my dad's academy when I was 8 or 9 I believe, I quickly became an orange belt because I was performing higher jumping kicks than the kids that were a few years older than me, then I started ranking first in all my spars and shadow sparrings, also because I learned the forms quite fast and I performed them with much accuracy for my age... Well I stopped when my dad closed the academy and I came to the States.

Hmm.. should I start practicing again? I am 16 now, 17 in September and I was afraid to join because I thought I was too old.

I joined again when I just turned 16, so there's no too old, believe me. Believe me, though, you'll learn forms slower than you did when you were younger (the Creative ones at least).

Oddly enough, your story sounds close to mine, my first TKD school was owned by my uncle. He and my uncle Kaz (or 'Nidaime' for any of you who remember him on the last forum), were top Martial Artists in the world, traveling and stuff. Nidaime died around last month in the military, though, but my uncle who owned the school still comes around and fights with me. He's probably where I got that nasty couch throwing habit (though it only happened three times, so I doubt it's a 'habit').

Man, I miss Nidaime. But, on topic. You're not too old, and if you're like me and have a knack for sparring and fighting, you'll fit right in: the REAL schools value fighting prowess, the McDojo's value your forms and money, err, I mean, skills.
