Yeah, true.

In all honesty, the conditioning was really hard, but because these guys only like forms and crap, we did a lot of XMA stuff the entire time. We were taught by the best, though.

Matt Mullins, Brendan Huor, and Craig Henningson to name a few. Brendan knew Chinese, and had me teach him some Japanese when it was close to resting time.

Actually, here's Brendan's youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/BrendonHuor

The video of him with the Broadswords was where we trained at; so small, isn't it? It was in Naperville, which is way up north from where I live. Matt Mullins kept advertising his newest show he stars in, Kamen Rider or something. I watched it on Saturday.

Ew.

=o, and why dont I believe this?
Because you've never been to boot camp. :)

And I really doubt I'm exaggerating. Marine training requires a 2 mile run, 50 push-ups over the course of 2 minutes, and 100 sit-ups over the course of 3 minutes. We out-did that nicely. Now, it's possible the training was so intense seeing how it was only going on for a few weeks, Marine training is over the course of 3 months, so they have to spread out the intensity so you don't die in the first month.

And no, I can't kick your head off. Not yet :P Good enough start-up I can easily knock you out.
I understand the Marine part, I dont believe you outdid them.

Don't act like you don't like cookies khengi.

ACtually I kind of do. The marines are a bit of a joke. The marine guy at our school is a complete fat ass nerd with HUGE glasses.

Oh, I see what you mean. I did word it badly, my fault.

To word it correctly, we did training that was more INTENSE than U.S. Marine training, only because we were gone for about 2-3 weeks. Marines are gone for more than 12-16 weeks. In our short timeframe, we can squeeze in crazy amounts of conditioning. If you tried the same thing for 16 weeks instead of 3, then you'd die by the 8th week.

Simply put, we can do Marine training, only because it's easier, but spread out over the course of MONTHS, making it hard on the body. Think of it like this:

You can sprint (3 week training) as hard as you can for a quarter mile, but jog {16 week training) for 3 miles. What if you were forced to sprint for 3 miles?

He also has an overbite and a lisp. Doesn't look like it until you meet him.

Just still pisses me off that they just do forms. No one spars anymore! To hell with that, Martial Arts is a form of fighting, as well as forms, not just forms.

Ugh.

Taekwondo and Hapkido. Some Karate, too.

Edit: I forgot we did Wushu and Wing Chun forms. We also learned Wing Chun punches which are pretty cool, just takes forever to get the speed down:

That's a video of some guy properly doing them, I'm not that fast.
