I Am So Sorry!

Danggit, I went to MA Boot Camp a day earlier than I thought I would sometime in December (mid-December, really), so I didn't get a chance to post a 'I'll be back' topic, because I was gone for a hell of a long time.

I did NOT forget about the Japanese class, but I wanted to do something before I left, I literally JUST GOT BACK, I am so sorry you all. No Internet there, it's Boot Camp!

If you want the Japanese course I'm happy to continue, if not, I understand. But I will be in the grasps of a computer capable of running Reason 4.0 soon so I will make up with music.

It should be obvious that I care since I posted this much :( I'm SO sorry, everyone.

If you thought this topic was a 'I'm sorry, I was on boot camp leave and left LNO' you're wrong, this is a, 'I registered on these forums and left without saying anything'. I am NOT using Boot Camp as an excuse for leaving LNO, if you assume this, then you're one lost individual.

Yeah, I'm back.

And the Boot Camp was... sweet Jesus, hard even for me!

13 hours EVERY SINGLE DAY, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and usually until 10:00 p.m. where we're allowed to finally 'sleep'.

2 bathrooms. 2 bathroom BREAKS. The shower is in the girls bathroom. There was also 32 of us.

The schedule worked like this: 3 hours on, 2 minute break, 4 hours on, 2 minute break, 5 hours on, 2 minute break, 1 hour on, sleep. By on, I mean non-stop lung and heart workouts where we could NOT STOP MOVING until that break. The movement and energy consumption of each hour is equated to more than 6 miles of running. If we felt like we were going to die... then sucks to be you. It's Martial Arts Boot Camp. The arm portion was sick, and the legs were monstrous. Ab workout was terrible, so painful, and the mental endurance was just CRAZY.

A friend of mine who's an ex-Marine (he loves how that sounds, though all he did was finish his term), told me (after coming in and watching for a few days), that we passed U.S. Marine Training Standards. And we're like, kids! I mean, I just turned 17 in December. There were 14 and 11 year olds there!

Seeing how Stephanie (my Girlyfriend for anyone out there) is also a Martial Artist, and we come from the same MA School, we had to stick together. It's funny, though, all those kids were used to this Boot Camp, and did all this flipping and XMA stuff, while me and Stephanie can only do a simple Aeriel, backflip, quick backhandspring, etc. you know, the basics.

When it came to fighting, though, the two of us small kids (I'm 5"9', she's 5"3') destroyed even the instructors. They're just so hard pressed on Forms, Conditioning and XMA tricking that they forget that MARTIAL Arts is a MARTIAL thing! It only took one straight punch to knockout one teacher. It only took Stephanie one Sidekick to send one flying.

Ah, would I do it again, though? You know it, I've gotten so strong from this, despite being sore like crazy. The mental training raised our awareness to the point where you, oddly enough, kind of 'feel' what people do before they do it, can't explain.
