Perk #3 is a slot that is highly open to debate. I have heard of most people using it for Dead Silence to sneak around and get quick and nasty kills, but on the contrary, Steady Aim is a lifesaver in close quarters combat. Also Extreme conditioning is sick for being able to get where u wanna go, and being able to get out of a situation fast, as well as being able to outrun your opponents and knife them in the back :) So which is better? it really depends on what your style of killing is. I am a better player in tight situations so i use steady aim and can take down multiple people at a time, but in larger levels, Dead Silence allows you be a ghost and kill without ever being noticed.Larger levels face a difficult dilemma however as Extreme conditioning can be a great help when u have to run from long distance to long distance to get kills. 3 great perks, but my personal favorite which should mainly be used for close quarters is steady aim, while the larger levels it would be an advantage to have either Dead silence or extreme conditioning equipped, u know, for that suprise factor. |

I agree tho, it really depends on the map, how many people are playing, and the type of game. Imma go with steady aim tho, for its all around usage. ;)) |

Extreme Conditioning works well with the shotgun imo. And Dead Silence works good when there is not many people playing or just feel like being stealthy. I use headphones but if someone uses dead silence its really difficult to hear them sneaking up on you sometimes. They both have advantages. |

I just leave it at dead silence, and let her rip :) It doesn't work very well on the 1.7 servers, but the 1.0... Pawns. :) |

I personally would have to say that Extreme Conditioning is totally useless !!nono!! , while Steady Aim and Dead Silence both pwn !pwnd! . If I had to decide, i'd say that Dead Silence beats Steady Aim by about 5% =D since they both very useful !.Ninja.! . Edited by Buttmuncher Jr, Dec 31 2008, 11:33 AM.

i would say each has its optimal scnerios Steady aim is good for big matches where listenign for sounds isnt a big deal Dead silence is very very important in small number matches for better sound Extreme conditioning is rly good with shotty for being a sucide bomber. So there u go! Each have a specific use. HOWEVER!!!!! I PERSONALLY LOVE DEAD SILENCE! If i had to pick a perk forever, i would pick that one . Its way more useful than other ones which can be comprimised. Steady aim can be comprimsed with better aiming skills and iron sites, extremecondidiotning... normally u dont need to run a mile to see ur enemy. So dead silence can be comprimise by crouching but that makes a person to slow to do anything DEAD SILENCE ALL THE WAY!!! O YEAH MY MONTAGES IS COMING OUT TODAY! |

How do iron sights make aim better? I'd say DS is pretty useless if you are playing against n00bs. They don't listen (heck, I don't listen in big matches. too much background noise. Can't hear anything) |

naa i think having sound for radar is better than hip fire shooting. Think about it, even a noob is deadly if shoots u first! Dead silence gives that person the first shot |
