Posts: 34 Group: Members Member #48 Joined: Jul 21, 2008 Gender Female	Name: Lotus Bloom Age: 13 Gender: Female Background: Named for the Lotus flower, Lotus Bloom was born mute and weak in health, small and fragile. Her mother was a chorus teacher, her father dead. Hearing her mother sing, Lotus desperately wanted to sing, to laugh, to talk. Her mother gave her a Chatot instead for her birthday, saying how it could talk and sing and laugh. This, however, did not comfort the small seven year old - if anything, it made her angry at her mother, thinking she was mocking her. She ran away from home, after releasing the Chatot and writing a good bye letter to her mother. Her frailty in health soon got the better of her and she returned home, only to find a note saying her mother had been killed in an incident concerning a Houndoom and a Team Rocket member. Silent tears fell down her face as she packed up her things and left the house, taking with her the only Pokémon her mother had owned: A Chimecho by the name of Windchime. She moved to Mizuris City and worked at a shoe shop, living in the attic. In turn, she would work without pay. Six years later she quit, packing what she had left in a bag. Figuring she should start on a journey, the tiny girl set off - frail health or not. Personality: Lotus is a determined, strong-willed girl. She'll chip away at what she wants until she gets it, or it becomes impossible. She doesn't care about her health, and cares a great deal for others health. She's quite intelligent, though can be a little naive on some subjects. She loves to smile and try to cheer people on, and you might often see her trying to sing, though it gains no voice. Appearance: Starting City: Mizuris City Starter Pokemon: Female Chimecho, nicknamed Windchime.
