Newbie Posts: 5 Group: Members Member #47 Joined: Jul 21, 2008 Gender Male	Name: Ryuu Shinsei Age: 17 Gender: Male Background: Ryuu grew up in the small town of Pallet just a short walk from Professor Oak's Lab. Using this to his advantage, Ryuu would occasionally visit the professor to learn all he could about Pokémon. When he reached the age of 10, Ryuu was given his first hands-on experience with a Pokémon. He was nervous at first, but over time it became second nature. At the age of 17, Ryuu decided to move out and get started on his Pokémon adventure. Because of his recent move, Ryuu could no longer visit Oak for lessons. Over the few months, Ryuu trained on his own with all the knowledge he had been taught while trying a few of his own variations to common battle techniques. After months of private training, Ryuu was approached by a elderly man, claiming to be an expert Pokémon trainer, who offered to become Ryuu's mentor. Ryuu happily accepted the man's offer and for three months continued his training. It wasn't until one night that Ryuu's life completely changed. On the final day of his training, Ryuu was challenged by his mentor as a test on all he had been taught. The battle got intense and both trainers' heart were pounding. The excitement was too much for the old man and he began to complain of chest pain. Ryuu took him inside and laid him on the bed as the man clinched onto his chest. The man's heart repeatedly stopped and restarted and after several attempts to restart it, he eventually passed away. From that day, Ryuu made a promise to himself and to his mentor that he would he would never forget all he had been taught and that he would become a great trainer in his honor, and with that Ryuu set out for a new life in Mizuris City. Personality: Ryuu believes that everyone should be treated with respect. However, he also believes that respect is not simply given, it's earned and it may take him awhile to trust people. He's a very adventurous person and loves going to new and exciting places. Ryuu is what you may call a challenge hunter as he is always looking for someone to battle with. He is never ashamed of losing and believes that a trainer learns more from a lose than a win. Appearance: Starting City: Mizuris Starter Pokemon: (Hiro)
