Newbie Posts: 2 Group: Members Member #40 Joined: Jul 9, 2008 Gender Male	Name: Brad Newport Age: 19 Gender: Male Background: Brad has always lived in Sokuyo with a family of three; a mother, a father, and a younger sister. His parents always kept a couple Pokémon around for the kids to play with, and Brad loved going out to battle wild Pokémon with them. His favorite Pokémon they had ever had was a Houndour, but that was a pup and given to the family for a short time to train for a blind person to be able to use as a guide dog. Since then, Brad's number one Pokémon has been Houndoom, and he hopes to find a Houndour sometime soon. When he turned 16, he begged his parents to let him go out to be a Pokémon trainer, promising to return home frequently so they wouldn't have to worry. His father fully supported this and believed it would help him grow up into a strong and independent man. His mother, however, was afraid for her son, but didn't want to look like she was holding him back. So with some tears and hugs, she finally let go of her son, and he left with one Pokémon his parents gave to him; a Zangoose. He named her Sasha and together they have been through many of the towns in Sokuyo and have returned to his house at least once every two months to tell his family what he has done so far. But now, he has moved yet again to start everything all over again. He has chosen to head off to Kiseki in hopes of actually getting away from everyone and being able to do things he wants to when he wants to. Now he has finally realized what his dream is. He wants to become a Gym Leader somewhere in Sokuyo when he returns, preferably in an undiscovered area so he can expand the continent. But to get to that point, he must first watch other gym leaders and gym trainers to see how they got to where they were. He must also not let anyone get in his way. No matter what, he won't leave Kiseki to go back to Sokuyo until he has reached the maximum of his potential. Personality: Brad has always been someone who cared more about what other people wanted. Now he wants to do things for himself, though he really is not all for himself. He's pretty outgoing and won't hesitate to introduce himself to new people. Family was always a key part of his life, and it was hard for him to practically walk away from it. Appearance: Brad has short, brown, wavy hair that his mother always loved and would never let him change. Now he wouldn't change it for all the money in Sokuyo. He's about 6' 3" and weighs around 190 pounds, with no visible fat. So yes, the girls kind of stare at him, but he's never really been considered the TOP guy to choose (I'd say number 7 :p ) which is fine by him. There is a little "beauty mark" near the right corner of his mouth (a little bit more down and to the right though) that he hates because he thinks it makes him look more "pretty." Brad wears jeans and a white t-shirt with a leather jacket when it's cool out. During the winter months, he has a heavy coat. When it's hot out, however, he wears cargo shorts and a black tank top, which he's always scolded for since most people find that defeating the whole purpose. His regular sneakers are made by Adidas, which he wears most of the time, except when there's snow or it's really hot out. When there's snow he wears big boots that his father gave him one Christmas, and while it's hot, he wears leather flip flops which he claims are very comfortable.
