Carloginias

Name: Car(loginias)
Age: 16
Gender: Male

Background:

The sleepy town of Alderville was a place where the old went to spend the remaining years of their lives. Manicured trees, flowers, and a rustic 'country' atmosphere made the place ideal for those who had spent their years in a world untouched by change. Central square boasted a small Wish fountain, a tasty diner, and a few shops where tourists shopped at for the town's goods. In all, Alderville was not a place to raise a child; there were no schools. But there were children in the little village.

On a small piece of property just outside of the village lived the remants of the Anderson family. Rob and Carlie Anderson had given birth to a son named Carloginias, or Car for short. The two parents lived in a sprawling metropilis dominated by big-business. Carlie's parents the aging Tom and Nancy Richards lived by Alderville. Frequent trips were made to the grand parent's house as they were ecstatic to finally have a child they could spoil. It was only natural that they should raise Car after the accicent.

It was a pitch, stormy, evening one where the sycamores by the Alder river howled like demons trying to break free from the pits of hell. The small, happy, family was going to stay with Carlie's parents for the summer. Rob's executive position at a questionble firm prompted the visit as few in their personal circle knew the exact location of their destination. Envy for someone or something brings down the giants, and so did it to Rob Hefferheimer and his wife.

Unbeknownst to the family, a black car the color of midnight had been trailing them since the last gas station had come and gone. By then it was too dark for anyone to notice. At the behest of Carlie, they parked the car when lightning crackled dangerously close. Rob parked the car in a dense thicket of trees with the notion that his family would be safe from intruders, lightning, and wild Pokémon. Unfortunetly he was incorrect.

Josh Ultz, his best friend, and rival had ordered the car to follow them. Rob had recieved the position that Josh had been working for nearly his entire career. And there was only one way to get that position. The consequences for his actions escaped him; he was blinded by ambition and a savage, grotesque hate for his former friend. He had planned it all out perfectly it would just be Rob and Carlie going to Alderville.. them alone. They would get into a car accident, both would perish.

After hearing that his plan had gone completly awry and that the family was hiding in a nearby thicket, he ordered his henchmen out of their black vehicle and to trail them on foot. With them, for there were two, they each carried a single pokeball containing one Pokémon. They were Ekans and Scyther.

Even a night as black as that one, the tracks to where they had camped out would of taken no more than a toddler's intuition to find. At seeing them, Rob got out of his vehicle to speak with them. They told him quiet calmly that his life was forfeit and that Ultz would be taking his position at the firm. Of course, Rob didn't like what he had heard. Without thinking he a made a move to run, and Scyther appeared from its' pokeball. It took only a moment for the bug-Pokémon to hack through the man's features. Blood dripped from the scythe like claws of the Pokémon, and a wild gleam was in its' eyes. It did the same to Carlie. But someone else was in the car as well. Someone that they did not expect. Since they did not want the blood of a child on their hands they elected to lave the babe, Car, to the elements.

It was either luck or fate that brought Tom and Nancy Richards and a search party out into the black night. After finding tire tracks that lead into the forest, they discovered the gruesome scene. The Houndour after a free meal were shooed off ferociously by Tom Richards. Everyone present had faces livid with emotion as they saw the sight. Even more so when they discovered Car alive and well. Upon arriving back at their ranch in Alderville Car was put to bed by Nancy in one of the family's rooms. Tom and several other men went to the sheriffs office to report the crime. The goons left no evidence behind, though, Tom had a feeling that he knew who did it.

The old couple nurtured and cared for Car in Alderville where he grew tall and strong. He especially loved swimming in the lake at the back of the house. His tutelage was stern but caring and he learned all that he could hope to learn from any institution. In Alderville, the citizens considered him something of a rarity. His curly, dark brown, hair and deep brown eyes were nothing like the straw colored blonde hair and blue eyes individuals living in the town. But in all, life was good in that little town.

Life continued much the same until he hit the age of 16. A friend had told him of a ship leaving for an island called Tohea. An island that was wrife with Pokémon of all sorts. Excited, he told his grand parents that he had elected to go to the strange island. Tom and Nancy, both very old now, agreed without complaint. It was decided that he should leave the week after next.

After a long series of good-byes and well wishes, Tom pressed something circular into the boy's hand. Upon letting go he told him to be safe and to catch a Pokémon with it. Uncontrolably he embraced his grand father and thanked him for the gift. Tom and Nancy went with him to the train-station and wished him (for the hundreth time) farewell.

While on the train, he discovered a rather curious sight. A man beating on a small dragonic pokemon. He beat it (or tried to, because it looked like he wasn't having much luck), called it a worthless light-blue blob and simply left it there. By this time it had fainted (mostly out of shock and horrow, than sheer pain). Car approached the Pokémon. He wrapped it in one of his blankets and left it some food. He then camped out and waited for the Pokémon to wake up. Once it did, it was happy to see that it was free of its' cruel master. But the Dratini was nevertheless weary of Car, despite the fact that man had created it. However after the long train ride the Pokémon elected to follow.

During his long train-ride Car was given several items that a mysterious old man who told him that they would aide him and his Pokémon. Crazy old people shouldn't be allowed to be roaming around a train. And without further ado, Car made it to Mizuris where he intended to start out a new life for himself and his Dratini. A life full of adventure, happiness, and even sadness. One that he could be proud of in the years to come.

Personality:

Not much can be said for about Car's personality. In many ways he is naive, but in others he has an uncanny genious. Inside his mind compassion and understanding for his friends and family constantly endures while ruthlessness and passion dicatate his actions against those he deems unworthy of praise. An example of an unworthy person would be an abusive trainer; he will never forget the state of shock that his Dratini was in when he found him those many months ago on the train..

To those who do not know him, he can be quite deliciously evil. Car is quite arrogant, and strives to do his best to overcome all obstacles that stand in his way. If you are one of his barriers, you WILL be knocked down. Perhaps the most interesting thing about the young man's character is the fact that he never misses an oppurtunity to turn an enemy into a friend. An astounding quality housed in one so young.

Appearance:

Car is sixteen years old, with dark brown hair and energetic and extremely deep brown eyes. Behind those eyes lie knowledge of things that is far beyond his years. He is tall, with broad shoulders and an always calm looking disposition. His shirt is a simple, if not elegant, color of Green. His jeans were blue of course and around his waist was a belt of brown where he keeps his pokeballs ready to capture wild Pokémon.

His face is constantly set into a neutral position while traveling as he desires no ill will towards those who have not wronged him. After his journey across the sea, his clothes are a bit worn out. Especially his shoes which were once bright red. They were now a blotchy crimson. The color of blood. His most prized posession is a watch that his grandmother and grand father had given him for his fifteenth birthday. It is gold and forms a circle with quartz stones around the hand of the clock. A wonderful gift.
