weeeee Username: mah profilio Real Name: Sascha (russian nickname for Alexander) Age: 16 Gender: Male (but if anyone asks I'm female =x) Grade: 10th Picture: see attachment Current Clan: Kagirinai (duhz) History on Naruto-Arena: I joined this game around the same time as I started watching Naruto. It was about May of 2007. I had been making fun of my sister for being a nerd for watching Anime, but I figured I should watch an episode with her. I was surprised that I didn't dislike it, and when I fell sick for a week I watched the entire original Naruto, and all of the then released Shippuuden. Pretty soon after, I joined Naruto-Arena. I played the game for a while, and although I though myself to be very good for getting to Hokage rank, I now know that I was no better than average at best. I had about a 1:1 ratio I was a new enough player that I lost my account when the site crashed, but my account name is the same as it was then. I rejoined and kept sucking at the game. A few weeks later, Kankuro's poison was nerfed from 40 damage to 30. That move had been a crucial part of my one and only decent team, so I visited the forums to get advice. That was the first time I went to Naruto-Boards. Instead of asking for advice, I saw the clans area. I was super excited, and joined the first Akatsuki clan I could find. That happened to be Forbidden Akatsuki. None of you have heard of it and none of you should've. It sucked. I joined 'cause I thought it was amazing because it was called Akatsuki, yet I was probably the best player in the clan. Have I mentioned how I still sucked? In Forbidden Akatsuki I met kakashihatake99, Pearz, enko131, and jaymaster101. With these four I founded Hebi. Pearz and kakashihatake99 are both still active members of Hebi, although kakashihatake99 is no longer a captain. Most of you probably at least know Pearz's username. Jaymaster and enko and I had a major fight which resulted in their leaving the clan. None of you care to hear about it, so I won't tell you about it. Eventually I became more active all around the forums, not just at my old clan's page, and I learned about my foolishness in original clan choice. Somehow or other I made friends, and for some reason people joined my clan, and they happened to not completely suck. They still sucked though. Hebi was originally one of those "n00b" clans. The original requirements were literally "this clan is for people who have at one time or another been legendary sannins." I'm not kidding o.o Pearz had been inactive for a while, but about midway through the summer, she returned to the game. She started winning lots and lots of tournaments, and since she has always worn a hebi signature, we started getting more credit than we deserved for her wins. Her reputation as a tournament winner being translated to her clan is really the reason for Hebi's success. Pearz's actions and my recruiting people eventually resulted in the Hebi some of you knew. It was lead by myself, Pearz, HatakeJoshua, and H4rry. Eventually, Harry and Josh approached me to say that they wanted to kick people out of Hebi on the basis that they "weren't good enough." I flat out refused, saying that if they did that, I would quit. So instead, Josh quit. Harry then got Pearz and they both approached me demanding to be able to kick people out. I had already decided to leave the clan, but I wasn't ready to announce it, so my answers were all very noncommittal. They could see I was hiding something, and were upset that I wouldn't tell them what it was. So they quit. So when I quit, there weren't any leaders left so Hebi just disbanded. I had already begun to plan Kagirinai (though it didn't have the name at the time) with Seireitei, Kinker and Zileto, and here we are today ^^ How I know some of the better, cooler, more experienced players: At one point, I tried to make a Naruto-Arena newsletter. I was recruiting staff people, and I asked FatDog if he would be interested. He surprised me by saying he would be very interested, and he introduced me to SharinganKakashi and DRN_Shikamaru, recommending them to be fellow writers on the project. They in turn introduced me Yokutai/Magirawashii. The newsletter failed because we produced one episode, but we all had lives and commitments, and FatDog had at that time quit N-A so we were also short on staff. However, before it failed I added Brent on MSN because he had just been promoted to GM and I wanted to ask him to write an article from a moderator's point of view. He kindly said no, but we got to know each other a little bit. For some reason or another, he isn't disgusted by me. Don't ask me why. Basically, I know everyone else that I know through Hebi, the above people I mentioned, or for some reason they added me. Again, don't ask why. Me being a moderator: Well, like the "n00b" that I am, I had for a long time looked up to moderators just on the basis that they were moderators, so they must be gods. I knew none of them personally. So when I heard about the moderator revamp, I didn't think I was worth applying. However, a lot of my Hebi friends had applied and they were encouraging, so I thought "what the heck?" I applied, and was shocked to see I wasn't in the first wave of rejects. That got my hopes up quite a bit, and I was fairly disappointed to see my name ended up as first on the list of "Those who received 6s." I added Burnturrek on MSN to ask him if he could show me what I had done wrong on the application. I wasn't bitter, but I wanted to know in what ways the forum disagreed with my views. He told me he couldn't show me, but that I had been very close to becoming a moderator and he was sorry that I hadn't been. Although Burn is known to lie, I believe he was telling the truth, as for some reason he likes me, though I can't say I'm so fond of him............I believe I am the only moderator he engages in conversation with other than vg14. Can't say facts though, I'm just trying to make my post longer than Betrayer's. Anyway, after Petley resigned as a Global Moderator, and several other moderators had been demoted or resigned, Brent MSNed me and asked if I would like to be promoted. I was very surprised, and later that day I accepted. I read old mod topics and found out I had gotten a 7 in the first place and should've originally been a mod, but w/e. Just a fun fact I guess. I've made many more friends through my moderator colleagues. I currently moderate snoozeville, a.k.a Village Hall and France. Hobbies, Activities, Jobs, etc : Drums.........school? Anything else: I suck at this game =D Edited by Waves, Feb 14 2008, 05:32 PM.
