It does indeed. He has once more chance. We've started to cover his cage but to attack just because another bird is standing on his cage is sad. It's really risky keeping him right now. Hoping to move out him into the living room come the summer. Update my first post with a picture aswell. I guess i was in total shock and forgot to post.

I'm considering telling Ally to waste 500 and get a decent size cage( can get a bigger one for less but no build in play stand) that has a playstand on top. This way no one will be able to get on top of the cage to get attacked.

I think Ally need to teach him some manners , I cant realy see the damage to Skittles beak in the pic but i can see her toe , poor little girl . Has Ally spoken to the breeder where she got him from to see if this is normal or if there is some she can do about him.

Yes it's hard to get a real good close up as she never stops moving. True conure for ya diving into trouble. She did talk to the breeder but The breeder put all the blame on ally cause Skittles got let out by accident by a 4 year old. Even so i don't think Max should have attacked. She will always have bad rep from Us. Even what she shipped the poor guy in was a sin. I think he would make a better breeder now then pet but i'm even scared to put him with is own kind.

Well with any luck we might just have His cage by the weekend. Biggest worry about getting it is the bar spacing is bigger so he will be able to stick his beak out of it more but with any luck, He wont bother with any more attacks. I personally hates the cage. Huges food cups and all. Just not my style cage but if it stops his attacks who cares right?

sound like a good start Enna , dont know how to help i would try the new cage as see what happens I think Ally is going to have to train him he might be scared of the other birds thats why he attacks them , or he could just be a agressive little s-it . best of luck to you I hope he does not hurt any more of your birds

Enna maybe Ally should put a cover over the top of the cage during the days so if skittles inadvertantly lands on the top of the cage, the toes and beak will be protected.

Max now has his new cage. Went out last night and got it. Very nice cage with a very nice price tag. Well worth it as i don't think the budgies will bother to land the the bars anymore with the play stand ontop. We gave it a test run today with max not in the room and they all gladly avoided it. Picture to come of the whole cage set up soon
