Not really possible to move him. Cat has free range of the house besides my room and it's been that was for 10 years. Well Everything is looking okay. There is a lot of blood in the smaller cage. all over the bars and on the perch. It's all dried up as they are no longer bleeding. Bijou pretty much only lost the toe nail. Munch will loose most of one of his toes. Part of his toe is just kinda dead and hanging there. Not sure on lemon. He wont let me see. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow. i have to clean out both cages from the blood and scrub the natural beanch |

Padlocks work nicely in keeping a bird in it's cage. Fiona (U2) has a padlock, she eventually learns how to open anything else and for her safety (and that of the other birds, she likes to go visiting when no one's watching) she doesn't need to be out when I'm not around. You could also wrap the bigger bird's cage with smaller mesh wire so the parakeets can't get in. He was defending his territory, the parakeets would had gone after him if he was in their cage, might had not accomplished much, but they would had tried. |

Ahh yes, i remember those pictures. Poor things. Well here is a picture of all three together. You can see Miss bijou doesn't have much damage at all done. The very tip of her toe and theres still either a little bit of nail left.![]() Lemon on the side of the cage. He don't really understand how bad the damage is and tries to grip the side of the cages but his toes don't work like that so he ended up hanging with one foot. ![]() Lemon next to Shilo. They seem much happier with the others and will eat there goodies which they need to be eating so i'm just going to let them be. ![]() My poor little Munch. You can see he is still all bloody. Hoping to get them to take a bath today. i know they love water ![]() And this one. ![]() Maybe i was expecting to much from max. The tiels and Budgies got along so well that i could house them together if i really wanted. Some nights they do get housed together as i can be bothered to catch everyone and stick them in the right cages. He's Just not ment to fit in. I'm going to work with skittles once i gets her. I don't want the same thing to happen and it be her fault. Hoping maybe i can get her to be good around them and be allowed out with them as long as i'm there. i'm also going to start her up on harness training as soon as i gets her. |

Ok, not as bad as I thought, the green spangle seems to be the worst off and I have seen toes WORSE than that come back to health, so dont count him out yet. A friends budgies foot got bit by her parrotlet and I could have sworn it was gonna fall off! It was so pinched and BLACK. It healed perfectly!!!!! Give them time. |
