I take Kosha out for walks every day and mostly at the park. Within the park is a dog park where you can let your animals off the leash and let them run around. They have a big dog and little dog area. I take Kosha to the little dog area. The big dog and little dog areas are side by side separated only by a fence. Anyway, people always love seeing her and take photos of her with their cell phones. Well, turns out people talk about the "cute pig" and look forward to seeing her. The way I found this out is when I took her to the doggy park, this woman came up to me and told me she's been looking forward to meeting Kosha. She's heard all about her. She told me how they talk about the "cute pig" who is friendly and playful. Turns out everybody loves interacting with her. She was so delighted to meet Kosha. On the big dog side, this guy came up to me and was asking about Kosha. He called his wife and told him to come to the park to meet Kosha. Apparently they lived close by because she showed up within 10 or so mnutes. He's been wanting a pig for a while but his wife didn't want one because she didn't think pigs were good pets. He wanted her to meet Kosha. So she did, LOL. Oh, and this one lady that didn't have her cell phone with her asked me to email her some photos of Kosha. She gave me her email address so I'm going to email her a couple of photos. Kosha my famous little piggy, LOL Edited by Tishrei, Dec 25 2011, 11:48 PM.

Oh yeah, that dippity pig thing is really frightening if you don't know what it is. Also, it's so sad to see your beloved pig in so much pain. Fortunately, it doesn't happen to all pigs. I am hoping Kosha will be spared. As to the temper tantrums, here's a funny story. This lady on the pig board that I belong to was sharing a story about when she had guests overnight. Her pig wanted breakfast and started a screaming fit. Her guests did not know that pigs do that and were so scared that someone was being slaughtered. They were going to call the police. |
