Sorry about that. I've been gone all day long today. Here's what happened on Monday with Kosha.

I have this new property that I am going to move to (I'll tell you guys about it later). It's still in Nevada, about an hour from where I am living right now. I've always wanted to live in the country as opposed to the city and I'll be able to have as many animals as I want without having the city regulate what I can and cannot do.

Anyway, I went out there on Monday (I was there today as well). I took Kosha with me Monday. Like I said, it's almost an hour's drive. Since Kosha has been good in the car such as when I take her to the park, I thought she might like it out there so I chanced taking her on that long drive. She was pretty good on the way out there. She was in the front passenger seat like she always is and she stayed there and did not make a fuss. I only had to stop once as she indicated she had to go to the bathroom. I thought that was so neat that she let me know she had to go. Good pig.

When we got there, she did not know what was going on and she was scared. Pigs do not like change. I had a bit of a time getting her into the house so I let her stay on the porch. Once she felt comfortable, she loved it there and explored the part of the property. Because the property is rather large, I didn't want her wandering around on her own. Even though the property has a fence going around it, it's just too large to let her wander around on her own. I walked around with her and she was having so much fun, she was practically leaping as she ran around. At the end of the day, I loaded her up and we went to a neighbor's property about a mile away. They have horses, sheep, cows, etc. I put Kosha in the fenced area with the sheep and went inside. Boy did she love the sheep. Initially the sheep were scared of her but when I looked out, they came up to her and were checking her out and she them. She made some friends.

About 8:00 p.m., it was time to return to Vegas and that's when the fun began (NOT). She did not want to leave her new friends. And the whole way home she VOCALLY expressed her displeasure. She put her front hooves on the console that separates the passenger seat and the driver's seat and rested her snout on my shoulder and oinked and cried ALL THE WAY HOME. She wasn't screaming or squealing but oinking and crying. She wouldn't stop. I would push her off of the console just to get that snout off my shoulder and the crying out of my ear only to have her step back up on the console and rest her snout on my shoulder with her snout touching my neck. Literally, the whole way home, she had her snout in my neck and was crying and oinking. That was probably the most miserable drive I have ever been on.

Kosha is a DRAMA QUEEN.

Poor kosha, how dare you remove her from her farm friends lol!!!! That must have been fun, but I feel very sad that she cried all the way home, not unlike the little piggies story. Did she go weeeee weeee weeeeee all the way home? That's a reason why I won't have anymore pets. I can't stand the thought of them being upset by anything.

Cathy, yes, it is definate. I can't wait.

Maryann, I don't know if you guys have some of the same commercials that we have here in the States, but there's this commercial with a pig sitting in the back seat with his head out the window going "wee, wee, wee, wee" all the way home. The driver can't wait to drop the pig off at home, LOL. It's so funny.

As to Kosha getting upset, you would not like having this pig, hahaha. She gets upset over everything such as if I don't feed her exactly when she demands to be fed, if I don't walk her when she wants to be walked, etc. I just got back from taking her on a walk at the park. She did not want to go home so she whined and cried when we were almost to the car and she cried in the car. Fortunately it's less than a 5 minute drive. She's out in the backyard right now having fun as I just fed her her lunch.

Tulip used to cry so pathetically in the morning because she did not want to get up. I had to get her up so I could feed her and have her do her potty business before leaving for work. But man, that crying was so pathetic, it was like I told her that I don't love her anymore and she had to move out. It was that pathetic.

Oh Tish I'm just sitting here shaking my head. When I read these stories about "Kosha" I sometimes forget we're talking about a piggie. She just seems like a little girl to me when you talk about her. (except for the part about rooting up the yard.) ^o)

Tish thats wonderful news about the farm. Congradulations! I hope we get to talk about it later.
