Maryann, yes, it is red meat that has iron, not fish. I found out the hard way, LOL but I still eat fish for the protein. I grill my fish. Even though there are sources of meat in which the animal lived a life it was designed for before slaughter, I have lost the taste for meat so I just don't eat it. It's been so many years. I don't have any problem with eating meat as long as the animal lived a decent life. I only eat eggs that are cage free. In fact, I get my eggs locally from a private party that has chickens that roam free. The shells of these eggs are so much thicker and stronger than the eggs that are from commercial sources. |
