Here are a few photos of Kosha and her injuries. She's doing great now. She's walking, playing, etc. I feel so guilty over what happened to her. I cringe like you wont' believe when I think about what would have happened if I did not return when I did. She could have been killed. The first photo is the day it happened. I have her tail wrapped and she's in her bed. The second two photos is the next day just after her breakfast. I had a hard time getting these photos because she kept wanting to turn around to see what I'm doing or if I had a treat for her. She went to the vet a few hours after these photos. ![]() ![]()

The poodle is my best friend's dog. I'll email you. Anyway, I am SO BUMMED about the cute tail. I LOVED that white hair at the end of her tail. Since the bone was not bitten, I am hoping that the white hair will grow back. If not, nothing I can do about it. She seems no worse though as far as her personality. It's now 11:07 p.m. and I just got back from a walk at the park. She had a ball. I have one of those long retractable leashes. We were walking on the grass, she was running around, flipping on her side, running around some more, flipping over. It was hysterical watching her have so much fun. I had a hard time getting her back into the car. I arrive home and she doesn't want to get out of the car to go in. So I took her on a walk around the block and she was so full of energy. I almost had to force her back into the house. Earlier, I had Ducky on me while I was watching tv. I was in a different room than Kosha as I did not want a repeat of what happened. I don't want Ducky to feel like he's second fiddle to Kosha especially since he was here first. Ducky is on my shoulder right now as I type preening me with gusto. I sure hope that the white hair grows back even though her tail will be shorter than it was. |

Oh its healing but looks horrid. Poor little thing, how is Kosha's leg wound doing? I have so fallen in love with Kosha. Partly because of her personality and I guess because I have always wanted a little piggie. Was at my mother in laws yesterday for her birthday and saw my sister in laws rescue cat Puddy who is the most lovely cat and to think that lovely cat had been literally tortured by previous owner. Then her daughter had her rescue dog who came from a puppy mill, god only knows what that dog went through. I came home and told my hubby sometimes I hate humans. |

I'm with you Cathy, sometimes I just can't stand humans. You know, it is human beings that have the capacity for incredible acts of cruelty whether against those in the animal kingdom or against their own kind or even against their own young. Too depressing to think about. But as to Kosha, she's doing GREAT. The wound on her leg is negligible. Her tail is healing just fine though it's not as pretty as it used to be. What I'm most pleased about is that her personality has not changed. She's not acting more skittish or anything. She picked herself up and got back on the proverbial horse. |
