look at what I'm going to do :P

Click HERE to view. It's for a good cause.

The lady that I adopted Kosha from is also walking a pig. There is going to be several of us with pigs.

I am in the midst of training Kosha to be around a lot of people, etc. Today I walked her on the sidewalk on a busy street when school let out and there were LOTS and LOTS of kids. She was scared but I was able to control her. I'm going to do this every day until she's comfortable.

Tulip got to the point where nothing fazed her. A firetruck would go by blaring its sirens and she would not blink an eyelash. It took a bit of work to get her to that point so that's what I am working on with Kosha.

Actually the only problem I forsee is my knee.

Tish, that's great. I can suggest this, go to the school daily as u wish and bring piggy kibbles for the kids to offer Kosha, she will be trained in no time.

Great idea Maryann. If she's eating, she forgets everything, LOL.

I remember when I took Tulip in to have her staples removed after her spaying, her staples were all twisted so it was painful for her to have them removed. So what I did is kept feeding her grapes while they removed the staples. She ate, screamed, ate, screamed, etc. However, she did not move away from me since I was feeding her. They had the staples out in no time.

I know, I hate it as well to hear their pain. However, the staples had to be removed. So I did the best I knew and kept feeding her grapes. If I was not around, they may have restrained her to do it. That would have been so very frightening for her. At least she was not freaked out. She did not fight them as long as I kept feeding her the grapes.
