Yesterday, Kosha went over to eat my friend's dog food. I didn't see that until they barked at her and scared her big time. They didn't fight her or bite her, they just barked at her. She freaked out. Now she won't go into the kitchen unless I pick her up. She clung to me like bees on honey. It was so bad that I ended up letting her sleep with me. Suffice it to say, I did not get a good night's sleep since she insisted on sleeping right up against me. I couldn't turn over or anything because she had her body pressed up against mine as close as she could get. We shared a pillow, LOL. I'm going to reintroduce her to the dogs since they didn't hurt her or anything. They're just little poodles not big dogs. She's going to have to get used to them again since he's my best friend and those dogs are not going away. There's going to come a time when she's going to be much bigger than them but for now, she's still smaller. Hopefully tonight she'll sleep in her bed and not with me. I felt so bad for her last night that I let her sleep with me. I have to walk a fine line as to comforting her and letting her sleep with me and her just getting in the habit of wanting to sleep with me. |

Hi Jackie, She's a potbelly pig. She'll be 4 months on October 6 so she's still a baby. |

Maybe do it in baby steps, tonight bring her bed into your room and then slowing move the bed back to where it normally is. Poor thing I hate seeing any critter scared. Cappone has still not recovered from his night fright. He is so jumpy, really not like him, at least he has two flight feathers back in and has finished his molt. I say he because "he" will always be that to me, I am sure Maryann is right though and Cappone is a she. "He" is spending alot of time in his dish being broody, I keep chasing him away I do not want to encourage him to lay any eggs. |

Vi, I don't think Ducky will let anyone or anything in there with him, LOL. The other birds have taken over his cage, his food dish, etc. He allows it and shares it with them willingly. But not the closet. That he guards as his own. It's kind of funny but since he's given up everything else, I let him have that as his very own space to decorate the way he likes. AWWWW, Cathy, poor little Cappone. I wish there was a way we knew how to comfort them and get them over being so frightened. Like you, I hate seeing any of the critters scared. |

Oh, she's fine. I think I made a mistake in letting her sleep with me more than once. I've now let her sleep with me too many times and she's come to expect it. Oh well. |
